Beautiful location and serene space. The steam room was amazing and heated up quickly for me as I was an early customer that morning. Lots of complimentary toiletries are provided which was very nice. Teresa was my therapist and she was amazing! I left feeling recharged and ready to enjoy the rest of my playtime in the desert. When Yelp delivers, it really delivers. And this will live as one of its most triumphant victories. We were headed to Moab for a little bit of work, and decided to turn it into a quick staycation, which then coincided perfectly with a weekend birthday celebration. Short on time, I hopped on and found Spa Moab, saw that they accept reservations right here on Yelp (Hallelujah!) and so I made the appointment for when we would roll into town, and easy as that, we were on our way. We got away late on the road, which actually worked out perfectly, as we drove into town, rolled up to the curb, and got out right there on Main Street at the spa. If you have never seen someone's face turn from "why are we stopping here" confusion to "oh my goodness I'm getting a massage!" then you haven't seen great human theater. Everything was right as we expected on check-in (do arrive 10-15 minutes early as instructed, as is the case in every spa, really) and we got checked in and finished the paperwork. The spa is clean, modern, and though not fancy or over-the-top, it's definitely representing the desert of Moab very well. With the whole Yelp booking situation, they were able to charge my card, and payment was a breeze. I didn't have time to comparison shop in town and while this isn't the most affordable massage ever (80 minutes for $120 + tip) it does fall in line with what you might see at similar resort-y towns. read more

This Spa is very zen and peaceful as soon as you walk-in. The sweet lady at the front desk was sweet. Me and my fiancé thought a massage was much needed after our 3 day adventurous fun filled couple days in Moab. We both got 80 minute massages (worth it) . He had the bikers relief and I had the Swedish. Candace did a excellent job and made sure everything felt great. I feel it is a must to do before you go back home. Wowza. My husband and I came in to have a couple's massage during a recent camping trip in Moab. They were able to squeeze us in on incredibly short notice and we are so thankful they did! The scent of the massage oil was intoxicating... we had to purchase a bottle of it before we left, we liked it so much! Our two therapists were attentive and listened to each of our concerns. I have a huge amount of pain in my SI joint that has been bothering me for two ish years. I don't mean to be dramatic, but walking out of the spa was the first time in two years that I haven't had pain in my joint; I literally cried when I thanked the therapist. My husband and I both walked out happy and relaxed. We agreed that it was the best couple's massage we have had. The only bad thing about Spa Moab, is that they're in Moab and not Colorado! This was an amazing experience. As soon as I walked in every person I encountered was so polite and kind. They even changed shifts at the front desk and made sure to do a smooth handoff. They checked on me, made sure I accessed all the spa had to offer, snacks, water, drinks, steam room, showers etc. i was so comfortable and relaxed. I had a prenatal massage that changed my world. Spa Moab was great! Very relaxing atmosphere right when you walk in. They have spa essentials you can purchase and also a few unique tank tops and baby clothes. Quaint little sitting area to fill out intake paperwork while drinking lemon water. Want something relaxing to do after a long hike in Moab?? Get a massage here!! Visited Moab with my hubs on a work/pleasure trip. Spent most of the day walking through Arches Nat'l park. Then headed to the spa after. It's located within a very nice hotel. Would stay there for sure if we ever went back. Made the appointment the day before and enjoyed our first couples massage there. Spa was clean, snacks and drinks offered, staff was kind and friendly and aesthetics of the space were top notch. Masseuses were good listeners and very polite. My friend & I flew into Moab a few days ago & I realized my neck was out of place. We were driving on trails the next day so I knew I was going to be miserable & no chiropractors were answering the phone. I went to spa Moab for a massage, not knowing what to expect. They booked me with ANTHONY, THE MOST AMAZING MASSAGE THERAPIST EVER! He made my neck feel so much better with one of his world famous back & neck massages, stretched my neck out & generally made me feel relaxed & great. I get massages weekly at home & love my massages but I will tell you Anthony is worth any dollar amount. He's wonderful & professional & a great resource for a massage away from home. Cute spot with good service, but have a few suggestions. First, I was welcomed by the front desk with a hot neck wrap and water or tea, good touches. However, my massage was in the room right next to the front desk. I heard every conversation and phone ring even with the white noise on in the room. That is not relaxing. That room is just too close to the front. The masseuse was nice, but didn't ask if the pressure was okay and it was pretty light. Yes, I could have said something and didn't. Next, I had a facial. Again, nice gal, but didn't do any extractions or discuss my skin. She did some masks (never said what she was putting on me) and gave me a welcomed foot and neck massage, which seemed better than the masseuse, so she may want to switch roles! The facial was quite relaxing and was given in the back of the house, which is where I think the massages should be. I wouldn't say may skin felt softer though, or really any different after she was done. read more

I was in town for quite awhile, and did both a massage and facial here. I would have gone back a few more times under normal circumstances, but I was underwhelmed. Moab appears to be late to the game for the spa business, so this is really the only place in town (other than those with shockingly bad reviews, those who never answer their phones, or those who aren't taking new clientele and are basically one person shops). Staff was nice but hit and miss. I would not return for another facial, but will probably try another massage on my next trip. read more

Her knowledge and ability to use the products correctly has completely changed my skin for the better. The stone facial is my new favorite and so very relaxing. My skin looks so glowy when I leave! My friend and I went to the spa mid-visit to Moab for a tune-up. I have very dry skin even in the middle of a humid DC-summer. So it was shriveling up in the very arid Moab climate despite multiple applications of creams topped off with Aquafor at night. We both did the August special Top to Toe: a 25-min facial and 25-min foot massage. The FOOT MASSAGE was just okay, it was more like a rubbing of the feet with Shea butter followed by some light reflexology. The FACIAL was awesome. I wish I lived closer so I could be a repeat customer. Candace knows her stuff. She will give you as much or as little info about skin care as you desire. In my case, I want to know as much as possible to battle my severely dry skin that is coupled with cystic acne (lovely, right?). I know she went over our allocated time and I really appreciated that gesture. Meanwhile, I was running low on product and already was familiar with the Eminence line they carry -- it's very high quality stuff-- so I asked her to recommend a complete skin care regimen. The results were instant. The second half of my visit, I've not been plagued by tight skin and the embarrassing situation of my face constantly shedding -- particularly repellent to those sitting across from me at the dinner table. The spa is lovely and tranquil, despite being on a major road. Somehow the charm of the place compensated for the noise of trucks passing during the treatment. read more

My boyfriend and I got a couples hot stone massage here after an 8 mile hike with six repels outside Moab. In other words, we REALLY needed it! While the ladies that did the massages were pleasant, the $400 price tag (after barely more than a 10% tip) was too steep for the level of service we got. The stones were small river stones and I had to request that mine be heated more because they felt barely warm when she first started. The last time I had a hot stone massage (I can't remember where), the stones were very large, smooth and extremely warm to hot. I loved it. My boyfriend mentioned that he was a biker and his legs and lower back needed special attention and his therapist barely touched them. The massage was okay, but nothing spectacular and certainly nothing that would have benefited sore muscles. I would have thought the spas in Moab would have massage perfected considering the level of activity that most people experience when they travel there. So... okay, but not very good, and certainly not great. We'll probably look for another place to get a massage next time we go. read more

The Cons -only one, the price for a massage was more than I've paid. This spa experience was truly fantastic! I came with my sister-in-law after spending five days hiking and outside in Moab. We both did the Just Shea Yes experience and it was an incredible value for the price. I booked us three weeks in advance, which was nice as Moab was incredibly busy during our stay. You will not get to enjoy all of three of the experiences (facial, massage and leg/foot treatment) together, but we were able to have our massages at the same time in the same room. If I am ever back in Moab, I will definitely book the same treatment again- it was great! read more

After 4 weeks of walking ( shopping and tramping !) I was in desperate need of both a massage & pedicure. I found this spa on Yelp & then coincidently walked passed on our way to dinner. From start to finish - everyone was very friendly & professional - especially loved the little touch of a fizzy fruit juice & chocolate that was served during my pedicure. Breann was my masseus and she constantly checked on the pressure etc - came out feeling very relaxed. ! Candace gave me the pedicure and I must say - it was one of the best I have ever had ... I am sure I heard my feet sigh with pleasure at the end. My mom and I cam here for a day of pampering while on vacation. We are total spa snobs and this one was the best I have EVER visited. From start to finish we were fussed over and pampered and offered drinks and chocolates and we felt like royalty. The staff is fabulous and they aim to please (and they exceed expectations). Ann(e) did our pedicures, and she is just the loveliest person ever and knows her way around nail care tools. My massage was also wonderful and I just wish it had lasted longer! The only con is the price. It ain't cheap for two gals to have an entire spa day and walk out with a bag full of products to boot. But that's what vacation's for, right?
