Dr. Su Kin Lee is a very kind person that truly cares for his patients and goes out to know their families. When my grandather was sick he was our family doctor. In addition, when my grandfather was about to despair he also encouraged him and made him think more positively. Many a time my grandfather had to be sent to the hospital and Dr. Lee was always there for him, just as we were, as if he were not just a doctor but also a family friend of ours. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Su Kin Lee for a few years now. My husband's diabetes was out of control and after being under the care of Dr. Lee, he is now well and controlling his sugar level. Also, Dr. Lee found other issues and referred him to the best cardiologist and neurologist. Last year my husband had a bypass which was a life saver by Dr. Lee's medical expertise catching all of the symptoms. The surgeon Dr. Lee recommended is excellent. Every time we go for our appointments, the front desk and medical staff are courteous and professional. Dr. Lee, his PA, Ann Luu, and entire staff are professional and passionate in helping the patients. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and his team! read more

I made a doctor's office appointment for the visit today. I am so mad the reception called our name and said we didn't have an appointment. I reached out to the doctor Monday morning and they said appointments were full until Friday. We were able to schedule an appointment and was told the office will close at 6:00pm. She asked for our insurance card and ID # after that we made an appointment for Friday at 4:30. Then she said our appointment was scheduled for 4:30 to 5:30 but today when we arrived she said we didn't have any appointments. I repeated again I made an appointment and you can review the caller ID. The nurse's face looked mad and did not apologize only saying the doctor had no time to see us. Super poor service, all the receptionist and medical assistant unprofessional and not reliable! They don't speak English either. I called in to for my appointment . The front receptionist and medical assistant said you can make the appointments ，we don't accept any appointments for a whole month until April. U must go to urgent care. they pushed me to the urgent care, but I just want to make a telephone visit or office visit for my primary doctor .then the front receptionist pass the phone call to the medical assistant try to get fucking way to let me hang up . I have never met an assistant who told me that I am the manager. If you have anything to say to me, I make the decision. then hang up the phone call. I called the office again they still insist me you need go to urgent care. the medical assistant voice very rude, not friendly and unprofessional service, sounds like I am the office manager.poor service,recommend anyone do not go to this poor service office . Came in as a Walk-In, I didn't have insurance but the clinic still took me in. Other clinics wouldn't take me in. The physician was really nice and took her time to answer my questions and concerns regarding my health. The Medical Assistants where really patient with me and helped me to apply for Medi-Cal. Funny thing, I was taking photos + about to give this place an amazing review UNTIL we went in and encountered our first BAD EXPERIENCE. Which sadly, I will note in this review which just happens to be my first. My grandma comes here. This place is well known for their elderly clientele so it's mostly grandmas and grandpas. My grandma and I usually come when it's not crowded, however today, the entire room was filled. Grandma and I went in 10 minutes before it was time for Dr. Lee Su Kin to go on his lunch? The lady at the window rushed my grandma to get on and off the scale. RUDE! Do not rush my grandma, I don't care if you're about to close or is hungry and starving for your lunch, YOU DO NOT RUSH THE ELDERLY! (This angers me so much!) After weighing my grandma she directs us into the room where we see Dr. Lee and he was in a rush as well. The sickening thing is that he was telling his assistant "10 more minutes, 10 more minutes", "I get off at 1 o' clock". Are you kidding me? Not only was my grandma his patient at the time but there were 2-3 more rooms with patients. You DO NOT rush and go on your lunch or whatever when there are people needing and wanting to see you. There's more, aside from those remarks when it was time for my grandma to get his monthly check up, he FLED THROUGH everything and leaving out a few that said was "unsure" because the check up wasn't complete. After going through her papers, he didn't even tell us the results. I had to ask and he had the balls to ask me "you didn't hear me?", NO I DIDN'T HEAR YOU SIR! He told us the results in a lightening speed which I couldn't even catch a thing he was saying. Wait, there's more.. grandma wasn't feeling well and she asked for him to check her and grandma told me that his stethoscope didn't even touch my grandma all the way and he just immediately wrote her up for some Tylenol. It doesn't take a UCLA graduate to prescribe that trash.. ALSO, the air conditioning in this place is ridiculous. It was cold today so I was already alert to wear a long sleeve, leggings and my UGG boots but my nose was running like a broken pipe. TURN IT OFF! Bottom line, I think I am pretty much disgusted with Dr. Lee's attitude today and I am on the search for a new doc. for my grandma. It's so unprofessional and inconsiderate as a doctor to do such a sh*tty job. read more

The office assistant is very rude and mean. I went there with my mom for her report. When we were waiting in the office, the office lady's were chatting each other. They are too busy to listen patient inquiry. When we told them, we just need a copy of health report, one lady told us : fill the form first. We don't have time right now. Dr. Su Kin Lee's office, yes at times can be busy, but the staff and the doctor are able to maintain great efficiency. Through my experience, the staff are very helpful and are always asking questions to make sure us patients are accommodated. Dr. Su Kin Lee is also a doctor who really cares. He seems like a really busy guy, but you can really see that he is very passionate about his job as he takes care of each of his patients very well. Besides excellent service, the office is very clean and well air-conditioned, perfect for LA weather and especially the summer. read more

I am So pissed. This is my First time giving review to yelp. I came here for immigration body check. They had a trainee to take my blood sample. She couldn't find my vein and just use the needle poking in my arm. When the blood Finally came out, the blood spilt all over because she didn't Hold the cap of the container. WTF? This is like the basic rule. Then they told me the report would be ready by the coming Tuesday (08/21),but I was busy, So I went in yesterday (08/29) and they told me it was lunch Break and No one get paid on Lunch break, So they Couldnt give the report to me. Wtf. It was apparently they didn't have the report ready and use lunch Break as excuse to send me away. Literally this is the Worst Doctor you Can find in the area. read more

Visited this office in March, 2018. They do not accept credit or debit cards. I asked them to mail me a bill so that I could mail them co-pay. Two days later they mailed me a short letter without a bill. I copy it here word by word: "You have a co-pay of $20 due immediately for services rendered on 3/20/2018. Please mail a check to this office within 7 days of receiving this notice. If the payment is not received, this situation will be passed on and handled by the collective agency. Thank you". I don't know how good the doctor is, for I didn't take his service anyway, although I never hesitated to pay. What alerted me is that in most cases the way they treat you is the way they are treated at the job. The anger comes from inside. I would not put my life into their hands. read more

This place is a total joke. 1. They used tb medicine AFTER we told them the patient had allergies. But they used it anyway. Now her arm swell like crazy after taking the test. 2. They submitted the form wrong after performing the test and I had to drive around for 4 hours trying to fixed the issue after they drop the ball. 3. Now they have the courage to charge us again for the form. When I explained how the messed it up. THE doctor told me to "shut up". Lol. This place gets such poor review for a reason. I visited this clinic last week and was greeted by a medical assistant, Nina. Without waiting for long, she took me in right away after completion of paper work. She assisted me throughout the examination and explained to me thoroughly. I am really impressed with the service rendered by the clinic and definitely will refer my friends over. Weel, sadly to say this Dr. Lee have changed over time. He was my #1 Doc since I was 12, until couple years ago his wife refuse to give me my lab report because I forgot to pay my $40 co-pay! I was unhappy with couple things before that already and her attitude just made me really angry. First, I was having fever for couple days and my thyroid area was swelling so I went in for a check up. Doc have this young guy to perform a ultra sound at my thyroid area. Either he was inexperience or he is not a pro, I had to go back 3 time to re-do the ultra sound!!! And doing these time he never give me any medication or did anything to my situation. Finally after 3rd week he told me what I think I already know, so I decide to get my own lab report and seek for a better doc. Then, when I call in ask to fax my report over to me she refused, because I forgot to pay my 4th, $40 co-pay!!! WTH!!! I told her for the pass 3 time I have paid to come in to re-do the check-up and I shouldn't even being charge for and you are telling me you are refusing to give me my report because of non-payment? Yikes! You will not believe a dr. like this guy would exist in our community. It is a shame to see this in SGV. First of all, the P.A. called himself Dr. Zhang, who's only a "physician assistant", is insanely lack of medical skills and knowledge. I really wants to know which school he graduated from. Secondly, the medical assistant called NINA is extremely rude and not being helpful. I do have an advice for this DR. Dr. Lee, Su Kin, being a dr. and the owner of Pacific Allied IPA, please do this Chinese community a favor and don't practice as a family doctor anymore. And I can tell you that, healthcare is a business but is only for people who cares for the sick and needy. Please rethink rather you are qualify or not! You need to become a competent care provider by not rejecting patients and not to refuse applying authorization for patients who are sick and need specialty care. I do know by referring patient with just med-cal to specialties, your Pacific Allied IPA might not make as much money as you wish $$$$, but please remember that you are a provider, a family dr. and most importantly, many patients came to your office and ask for your medical advises. Please don't be a hypocrite that you only like to take their insurance card and see how much $$$ money you can get from this insurance plan. This is illegal and unethical. My very bottom line to all readers is that if you are planning to find a family dr. for yourself or your parents, just don't pick this dr., you don't want to jeopardize your health and life onto this person's hand nor any of the staff in there. Dr came in the room and just asked me 2-3 questions. When i was done, which was 5 min later, i just sat in the room for 20 min thinking that fool would come back in, nope! Dr Su Kin Lee is such an amazing doctor. I have been going to his clinic for as long as I can remember. I can reach him anytime if i have question regarding my meds or need medical advise. His office always made sure i keep my appointments and do my lab works regularly. Nina is very helpful, his NP's in particular Jayne Zhang spend time explaining my conditition as I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes. I followed all their instructions re: diet, etc and now my a1C is back to normal, feeling so much better. read more

In this thanksgiving and holiday season, I would just like to say a few words to thank my family doctor of numerous years. I am a widow now, but my late husband was able to stay with me and my family for 15 years because of Dr. Lee's care and compassion. My late husband was diabetic, had several strokes, and had heart disease. Dr. Lee was with us every step of the way, from referring us to specialists, who were, in turn, just as kindly to us as Dr. Lee was, to checking in with him every day when he was in the hospital, even though he was assigned a different doctor. In a curiously compassionate way, Dr. Lee never discouraged my late husband from his own little joys in life: if he wanted to have a slice of my grandchildren's birthday cake, then why refrain from enjoying it? Dr. Lee reasoned with me that as long as my late husband wasn't eating sweets every single day, but rather only occaissionally, it wouldn't be detrimental to his health. Joy is just as important of a medicine as prescribed medication is. The countless little things that Dr. Lee did for us made it apparent that he cared. He was always very patient with us even though my late husband could not walk without the aid of a walker, and even then, could not walk very fast at all. When we were the last patients of the day, he would walk us out to my car to ensure our safety. If it weren't for Dr. Lee, I honestly doubt that my late husband could have stayed with our family for that long after his first stroke. For Dr. Lee and his compassion, I am thankful and and grateful to say that I myself am now under his care. read more
