I took my son's brand new karate ghee (removed from package at cleaners) to Lee's to have patches sewn on. The ghee was laid out and I showed her were the patches were supposed to go, at this time there were NO STAINS on this fresh out of the package ghee. Today I picked up my item to find these stains and when I asked what the were they conversed among themselves and proceeded to tell me the stain was already there!! REALLY??! Being a cleaning establishment it would've taken very little to clean your mistake but they chose to ignore it. My advice if you choose to use this establishment take pictures first because otherwise they will not take responsibility. I wouldn't be surprised if they still don't after photo proof. Too many other dry cleaners in the area to go to so I won't be going back to this one. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. I received the utmost disrespectful service of my life, here. I am in the Navy. I brought in my dress white uniform top along with a sash mark on a Monday. I just needed the sash sewn on. The manager, Kim, served me. She said "you need dry cleaning", I said "No, I do not. I will do it myself. Thank you. Just the patch sewn on." I'm told it will be ready for pick up on Thursday. I leave without a slip because I wasn't given one, and I was recommended to this place by a friend so I thought nothing of it and left. I show up on Thursday to pick up the blouse. Kim is not to be seen, the women working upfront can't find the top because it was in the dry cleaning section, although I didn't ask for dry cleaning. They tell me it's been dry cleaned and the patch is sewn on. I ask to speak to the manager because I'm not going to pay for a service I didn't ask for. Kim comes up from the back and tells me I have to pay because I asked for it. I explain our exact conversation that was had, and she's not being cooperative or considerate of her mistake at all. I refuse to pay and she takes my blouse from the rack and put it in the back, and tells me I can't have it if I don't pay. At this point We we're arguing back and forth, she was being very rude which I then was also unpleasant. And then she starts talking shit about me in Vietnamese. It wasn't about the money, it's about the concept. She made a mistake and I'm the paying customer. I should not pay for something I did not ask for. To avoid further conflict I paid for the sewn on patch and the dry cleaning and I explained that I will never be back and that she does not know anything about customer service and I will be sure to put up a review that portrays what kind of service they do. Staff is very friendly, I haven't had to wait in line any time I have come in. They can sew patches on military uniforms overnight or you can pay extra (it's only been a dollar extra each time I've come) and they will sew it on in only a few hours. It's great if you are in a crunch for inspection on your dress whites. Also if you pay with a card it's a ten dollar minimum. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. On Friday June 23, 2018 I bought a cloth backpack to the store to have their tailor repair the straps, which had been tearing off. The woman tailor and the woman cashier assured me that the straps could be fixed and that they would even double thread them to prevent them from tearing again. Because of their Initial attitude I felt the $18 price was reasonable. When given my receipt the cashier took a receipt that had been partially filled by another potential customer and marked out his information with sharpie, then added mine. I thought this was tacky, but I went with it. When I returned the next day, they had only repaired one strap. I asked them why both straps had not been fixed and they said that I had only requested them to fix one strap??? After some discussion they agreed to fix the additional strap. I paid the $18 and handed in my receipt. When I returned within the hour they had fixed both straps, BUT wanted to charge me an additional $8 for the service. I thought this was unreasonable and was never given a new receipt for this pending fee of $8. After they yelled at me, one of the women began to tear the threading out of my cloth bag. I left the store upset and proceeded to write this review. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. They have no customer service skills, their organization is horrible, and they even referred to me by the wrong name after several corrections. read more

Their attitude was horrible, despite politeness on my behalf. I asked for a hem on my jiujitsu gi sleeves. For 1 stitch it'd be $10, for the double stitching they'd charge $20 and then say 3x it's your choice with a nasty delivery. I didn't speak crossly, profane nor sarcastically. I was clean and calm in both demeanor and appearance. Not sure why there was so much attitude, but I just said no thank you. I already knew that I could go right to Chief Mac and Emma's creations on Hampton blvd by NOB and have the same hem done for $6 with a much more pleasant experience, while you wait no less???!!!! I had two small alterations to two of my dress pants and was quoted $6 for one and $8 for the other. Sounded reasonable to me. I go to pick up my dress pants and I'm told the total is $24. I asked if they could break the total down for me as that was not the price I was quoted, I was quoted $14. Due to the handwriting on the ticket being chicken scratch they could not make out what the ticket said and advised me that I needed to pay $24 as the work had been done already. I told them I'd be happy to pay for the services I just wanted to pay the right amount. That is when all three ladies came over and became very argumentative. At that point it was a losing battle and I just wanted to leave. I informed them that I would pay but would not come back due to their horrible customer service and bad experience. It could've just been me. They could've up charged me because I was in uniform, I don't know. If you chose Lee's cleaners hopefully your experience is a lot better than mine was. read more
