I do a lot of smoking on the side. I accidentally found Lee's. Bought 30 sticks of Cherry just to try the place out. Great value! You'd get 1/4 of this much Cherry for this price at a grill or big box store. Extremely friendly staff. Not the smock wearing shiny type guys you find at the fore mentioned places. These are real, hard working folks that are genuinely nice and helpful. The owner introduced himself and took a few minutes to explain what he had to offer. I did a 14 hour smoke with a few sticks of the Cherry. Burned slow and low with moisture content producing adequate smoke! I will be going back for more Cherry and Hickory. Side note; I RARELY take time to do a review on any product and or service. Good or bad experience. It has to be well above my expectations or all below for me to take time to do a review. I have purchased cooking splits from them for the last 4 months. I paid a $1 a stick for pecan on 7/1, I was charged $2 a stick today?!? Needless to say I was livid with a 100% price increase. I will just start getting my splits off of FB market place, The reason i gave them 2 stars is because they are always very nice, but that smile is not worth the price. read more
