In the fall of 2016 I started making calls to the well known local tree companies in the Mooresville area. Multiples messages left on voicemail with not 1 returned call. As the weather turned to winter I finally scheduled estimates with 2. Only 1 showed up. I scheduled the job with them but they cancelled 2 times without ever calling to reschedule; I had to chase them down. By this time it was late winter 2017 and the owner of that larger local companies told me the reason I couldn't find anyone is because they were all busy in Charlotte cleaning up after a big storm. I finally found Tree Tech - and I wish I called them first!! They called me right back, scheduled a proposal, showed up on time, I accepted the proposal and they executed it flawlessly. I referred them to 2 neighbors and many others who have yet to have any problem!! Let's face when dealing with a service business there are many variables to contend with. Weather and ground conditions and the safety of the crew and protecting personal property are critical to the execution of their job. So I for one are less concerned about them having an off day with the schedule or returning phone calls. Why?? Because I know they are all on a job giving a customer their undivided attention; which is what I expect when they are executing my job! I say be nice and give them a break! Mind you their truck and clothing had no company name or logo on it so all I knew was there were strangers trespassing in my backyard. It got to the point where our neighbors were calling us letting us know there were random guys in our backyard when we weren't home. After they then came back at a later date again unannounced to complete the job, my husband and I both noticed hardly any tree limbs were cut. Greg came back to our property to convince us the remaining limbs would not be a problem. Well lo and behold less than a month later a large tree limb fell off and hit our house. Thank God my kids were not outside playing or else this would be an entirely different conversation. Called the company to schedule them to come back, like Greg promised he would if we were unhappy, and it has been over a month of no contact, ignoring texts, and not receiving any communication besides the automated AI robot. If I could warn everyone against hiring this company I would. Again, my kids could have been playing outside like they always are and this tree limb could have landed on one of them. I asked for limb removal so it wouldn't land on my house and that's exactly what happened after paying for this job that obviously was not properly complete.
