This is our first visit in this area. We are eating their shrimp po boy and hamburgers now. Everybody agree this is best burger we had in years. We are visiting New Orleans and tried many "high scored" restaurants and found most of them are not that good or even terrible. We are very disappointed for last three days. So far, Lee's Hamburger is the best and everybody in my group agrees. This is not a fast food restaurant. If you want your burger right away, try Wendy's or Burger King nearby. You have to wait, because they cook per order. I have never reviewed restaurants yet, but this one deserves better than current Yelp review scores. read more

I tried to call lee's to make an order. The first call, no one picked up. 2nd call, they picked up and asked me to hold before i gave them my order. I was on hold for 8 minutes before i hung up and ate somewhere else. I like their burgers but their management here sucks. Even the time before i ate here, I had to wait for my food in the drive thru for almost 15 minutes. I never had a bad experience in slidell or metarie. read more

Workers don't care, when you order more than one thing they get an attitude. I ordered dessert and felt bad, she said " you really going to make me make that" and stared at me. The floors were very dirty and the burger taste plain. A basic concession stand burger. Nothing special and drive thru takes 10-15 minutes. Workers don't smile, seem like cafeteria ladies from school. Then they have tip jars in your face as if they should get a tip. Never again will I go to this location. I've heard other lees are better but I'll probably never go back because so many other burger places taste better and don't give horrible attitudes when you order for 2 people. read more

First time customer today, went through drive through and the girl at the severely distorted speaker was friendly enough. Explained that I had never been to this restaurant, she made no attempt to suggest anything, just a awkward pause. I ended up ordering the shrimp po boy, with fry and a sprite, total came to 13.01. Nice young lady working in kitchen poked her head out of drive through window and confirmed my order. Took about 12 minutes to receive food. Food was disappointingly lackluster in portion size, fries were good but very very small portion, sandwich had 12 small, very small shrimp, tasted delightful but 13.01 for some fries, a 16oz sprite and 12 very small shrimp, 3 tomato slices, some shredded lettuce and 5 thin pickle slices and a thin narrow 6" bun. I wonder if this buisness model will survive this economy. I don't mind paying top dollar for great quality but I do expect proportional quantity. read more

Absolutely love" the works" burger. Never had a bad order. The meat is always juicy and not dry like other joints.

Whenever I'm craving a good burger, I go to Lee's Hamburgers. The burgers are made to order and worth the wait! The fries are always hot and fresh, too. The drive thru is a little slow to respond, so I'd suggest going inside. Still 5 stars! read more

Came here as a band stop for dinner we made reservations and they stayed after closing to serve us sadly the burgers we got were quite cold but i do not blame them it was a large group of students and they stopped making fries to make onion rings. Long story short i didnt get my fries read more

We visited the restaurant Sunday night on 6/9/19.I am putting the time and date so management can hopefully correct the issues.We did not ask for anything out of the ordinary but a request for no mayo does not mean extra mayo.We ordered cheese fries which cost $3.59.6 fries and cheese should not be considered an order but a taste.We will not be going back. read more

The hickory bacon burger was ok, but it's very small for the price. They depend on condiments to make up for lack of taste in the burger. Wendy's is better. read more

Burgers are tasty the onion rings left a lot to be desired they were skimpy on serving size and were over cooked. Had a two dollar off coupon mentioned it at time of ordering and did not correct price till I handed the coupon over. Wait time was long in drive thru. read more

Terrible!!! Get your burgers elsewhere. Not so tasty meal at a high price. Other great burger places nearby to this location. The burger was terrible and bun was soggy. Small portions for onion rings and fries neither which was very good. I do not know what it is about this location but they do not want to honor their coupons so they are coming across as untrustworthy. I emailed the corporate Lee's and never received a response. Had been a fan of Lees from the start in New Orleans, but the experience I recieved in Covington. I am done. Saw a shrimp on bun, 6.99 on menu, so I ordered shrimp on bun. Cashier rings up 8.97 so I say it was 6.99 she comes back it comes with fries just want sandwich and drink. She gets I would presume was manager. Just comes with fries,I pointed out the sign saying I don't eat fries with skins, so her reply you don't have to get fries but the price is still 8.97. So as I told her goodbye. Used the drive thru at Lee's Hamburgers in Covington this evening. The service was great but the burgers and onion rings were AWSOME!!!

This was only my second time at this location. I decided to dine in since I was on my lunch break. I only had ONE request for my burger. NO ONIONS. I returned my burger when I noticed it full of onions. The staff took it to the back, wiped the onions off of the top bun, and returned the burger to me. It was disgusting and I had to throw most of it away (and still full of onions on the meat and bottom bun). I also noticed that 3 others had to return their burgers while I was waiting for mine. I had a good experience the first time, so I guess it has to do with the crew that is working during certain hours. read more
