The service at Lee's nails is excellent!!! The woman who did my mani/pedi was super sweet, gentle, kind, and thorough. The atmoshere there is light, welcoming, and happy. Everyone in the salon yesterday were fun to chat with. The staff are very kind. The, I believe owner, had a great sense of humor, and enjoys communicating with everyone while they are getting their nails done. The woman who did my nails is still learning English, so the owner helped us to be able to communicate better and would explain to her what I said and what it meant. Very sweet. The ladies getting their nails done were fun to chat with, I loved talking with them, hearing their stories, and everyone was laughing together. Great experience. I do believe I have found my go to nail salon going forward. Also, one of the most important things to add these days with the economy we live in, Lee Nails is fairly priced and very afforable as well. I've been coming here for years, mostly because of convenience. But the work they do is also great imo.

I had never gotten my nails professionally done before, so I was super excited. It took them roughly 30 minutes to get me seated (I arrived before the appointment time) and an hour and a half to do my nails. I asked for a pink French tip with a single green heart on my ring fingers. The French tips were horribly uneven, aswell as the hearts. For 75$ that is absurd. read more

The place have undergone new management as of end of last year. Tools are cleaned and the techs do a great job and have many services. They go all out for pedis. If you see any nice nails around, they will tell you this is where they went. read more

I'm not one to post bad reviews, but this is the 2nd time I've been here with bad service. This time around I asked for a dip powder set that they now offer. Online when booking my appointment, it was marked as $30 which is cheaper than most places within the upper valley. The price was a lie unfortunately, as I paid 50$ alone for this set. One gentleman who's name I was not able to get kept filing down my extensions then when using the nail drill, nicked my cuticle not once, but TWICE and didn't stop to do the blood spill procedure as all cosmetologists and nail technicians must follow for the state. He waiting until after when there was nail dust to just grab the blood stopper drops and dabbed it on with his unsanitary hands. As you can see in the photos, they are bumpy on the free edge and the dip powder was filed down to nothing on the side wall/edges. For the price I paid today, I could get a great dip powder set and eyebrow wax and great hand massage in the city of Manchester. Unfortunately this has to be posted, I will not be back. read more

DISGUSTING! STAY AWAY! Would give zero stars. I was in a wedding at Mt. Sunapee and there are not very many nail options up there. Another bridesmaid made an appointment for 5 shellac mani's and pedi's, including one for the bride. We got there at 11:30 (exactly on time!) and there were only 3 tech's, including one that did not appear to be doing anything. They had us all soak our feet for nearly an hour while they finished the girls ahead of us, then during the manicures made us keep our hands in the UV dryers for WAY too long. I am not exaggerating when I say that we were there for at least 2.5 hours, and that's after telling them we had to leave by 1:30 and did not get out of there until well after 2. The bride was having a heart attack because we were running out of time to get ready before the rehearsal. Aside from their lack of time management, I never once saw them sanitize their tools. They would switch tech's mid treatment and yell at us when we did not feel comfortable keeping our fingers exposed to UV lights for a half hour at a time (before putting polish on them!) or soak our toes for an hour straight. Additionally, wall to wall carpet in a nail salon is completely unsanitary not to mention to black mold growing up the wall I noticed on our way out. I have NEVER left a nail salon without leaving a tip, but I did at Lee's. $55 is nearly what I pay in Boston for a shellac and pedi, and that's at a far superior salon. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Board of Health. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

I had a walk-in manicure today. Two techs did my nails--one was better than the other. Very disappointed with the one who started with my nails. She was in a rush and cut three of my cuticles so short that I bled. I had to mention it to her before she apologized. I don't know what's wrong with the reviewer from Boston who gave Lee's a bad name but, I think this is a sanitary salon with friendly staff. I use to live in Boston for 4 years and never had the friendliness of staff that Lee's has. As for waiting, yes, sometimes they are understaffed... but if you don't like to wait then come at a time when it wont be busy... early am or early in the week. The quality of the service is always on point here... very large range of polishes to choose from and prices are very fair. This is a great salon, I'd recommend it to anyone. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at Lee's this past weekend. My fiance and I went away to Mt. Sunapee for a weekend full of snowboarding. What I didn't know was that he was planning on proposing! I wanted to get a manicure at the Resort I was staying at but had trouble. Lee's was able to fit me right in. I was a bit nervous because the nail salon seemed a litting run down and dated, but that did my nails did an amazing job. I go here several times a summer while visiting my parents in Newbury. I live in Boston and would rather go here than places by me that are constantly packed and noisy. Lee's does a great job, are speedy, efficient and friendly. I've even had them stay open past their normal business hours for me and my sister. Good place to get your nails done if you're in the area and they're not busy. They take appointments and walk-ins, which can be frustrating at times. They get very flustered when they are booked with appointments and still try to squeeze in the walk-in customers. I always make an appointment, but I have been rushed out (not making for a great manicure). Your best bet is to make an appointment for 9am when they open, because the place is empty and they will take their time and do a good job on your nails. read more

I had a pedicure done here. It was amazing! A man and a women took turns doing nails, massage, maintenance :) . They were very professional and took their time and made me feel real comfortable. They didn't talk a lot, which I liked because I had wanted to go and just sit and relax. I was there way past their closing hour, yet they did not rush me out the door.
