Johanna was either going to make this an amazing experience or brake it for me. As soon as I walked in Johanna greeted me with a friendly warm smile. Right away making me feel comfortable and relaxed. She asked me if I had ever been waxed before and made sure she explained in detail what I should expect. Made sure I understood this was my body and if at anytime I decided not to proceed to just let her know. She went over basic breathing exercises and I won't lie as comfortable as she made me feel, I was still terrified. After she pulled the 1st strip the process went nice and smooth. I asked for us both to have the same service. Yet my daughter was done 25 minutes before me. When I inquired the manger said that we didn't. After what happened I didn't want to put my daughter thru that . The lady doing mine was great at massage but the paint job was bad and clumsy. The lady doing my daughter's didnt have her glasses borrowed another lady's. She got her glasses half way thru. A guy brought them in. My daughter texted me her toe was bleeding. I inquire. The lady claimed it was an ingrown. My daughter was confused. Once she got her glasses and noticed she rushed the pedicure and the workers were talking back and forth. I wish I had my translating ear buds on. Her toe was hurting walking and in the car I could see where her nail was cut and reshaped into the nail bed why it was bleeding. Black background was hr later. Blue back ground next day. Busy week so didn't go to the shop. Just went on to check if they responded, which they did but notice my full details we gone. The offer to redo the pedicure cause they were busy. If busy is half the shop empty. They do not have enough workers. No one should ever do someone service with our proper full vision. Why would my daughter want to go back and she had a dance performance she couldn't do now due to pain in her toe. I explained that it was my first Brazilian wax. The service was discounted by half, so I spent $41.50 (including tip). I was also given a comprehensive breakdown of the entire process, including specific rules, especially when booking future appointments with European Wax Center. In this visit, I was served by Zoe. She was such an incredible wax specialist! We were both laughing and having a great time in our conversation. Because of this, it took less focus away from the waxing process itself. In essence, the entire waxing wasn't as painful as I anticipated. It definitely helped that I took Tylenol before the appointment, too. All in all, I had an extremely positive experience. I want to express my gratitude, especially to Zoe, for making it comfortable. I will definitely return here in the future.

I called to let them know I would be 7 mins late. I was told if I was past 9 mins I couldn't be taken. Okay No problem. When I arrived I was not greeted and she didn't even look up to acknowledge me. I sat there for a couple minutes , then I needed to use the restroom due to a girl emergency. I told her I'll be right back. I see my waxer (Rattana) in the hall and she ignores me and shuts her door. When I come back out the front desk tells me I can't be seen bc I'm past 9 minutes even though I was there before the 9 minutes. She told me there were no more apts for the rest of the day. I told her okay let me rebook on the app. They did have appointments ... so I rebooked for a hour later with a different waxer. When I come back she didn't check me in again or even acknowledge me. My prior waxer saw me again while I went to check out and ignored me again .. so weird considering the past 8 appointments she cried about her bf breaking up with her while she waxed me ..seems like they only care about themselves and not their clients. Then the front desk calls me to ask if I have any negative or positive feedback about my last apt.. umm that's awkward when it's the same front desk girl who completely lacked professionalism and good communication.. Why didn't they have someone else call? I made a formal complaint to corporate and never heard from anyone .. I'll never be back to this location.
