Where I had an issue with was having to pay the transaction fee they charged for using a debit card. I offered to pay with check but they didn't accept that as a form of payment. My daughter's technician was Lily, mine was Julie (She said she goes by Juliana because apparently there's another Julie that works at the nail salon also). Anyway, both women took their time and were meticulous in everything they did - from trimming and cleaning up our nails, to the foot/lower leg massages, to applying the polish. We talked, joked and laughed with these 2 wonderful women and John the entire time. They obviously enjoy their work and they're good at it! The prices are very reasonable and 2 weeks later our nails still look perfect. No chips at all. We've found our new nail salon when we're out here in Lodi! What should have been a simple conversation felt more complicated than necessary, as there seemed to be frustration over me changing my mind from the original French tip. It was confusing, especially since I had made an appointment ahead of time, they weren't close to closing, and several technicians appeared to be available. As my appointment went on, I also became concerned about the cleanliness of the salon. The pedicure tub didn't appear to be cleaned, there were no plastic liners, and a tool that had been dropped on the floor was still used afterward. I left feeling disappointed by the interaction, but even more frustrated after paying $130 and having three of my nails pop off the very next day. I returned to have them fixed, and while they repaired them without any issue, two more nails came off the following morning. I understand that things happen, but between the sanitation concerns, the quality of the work, and having to make multiple trips back to the salon, I was disappointed with my overall experience. Friendly team was about to take me in for a walk in pedicure. Had reference photo of exactly what I…read morewanted. Nail tech failed to add ANY nude base layer for a French style. The French tip was very thick and uneven. The flowers are ok but not as good as the reference photo. Big concerns were with hygiene. There was no plastic bag in foot spa, tools were reused and briefly cleaned with same sponge as scrubbed the tub after the pedicure. Detail brush put into some chemical bottle directly. Then to dry I was told the regular (non gel) polish would dry with UV light. This is entirely false. Will not be returning.
