There was handicap parking for the pool in the same lot, but not close enough to use for the community center. 2. I couldn't find an automatic door so I had to fight to get in the heavy steel and glass doors. 3. The "Event Space" barely held 20 people for the Bridal Shower I attended there. 4. To get to the restrooms you had to walk/crutch through the volleyball courts with a training group going on and hope not to get hit. 5. An Inconsiderate woman using the restroom and letting their 3 year old boy use the handicap stall when there were 3 other stalls opened & he peed everywhere. She didn't say sorry or clean up the mess. Besides those downfalls, they event space was clean and well lite. The volleyball courts looked nice and kept up as did the kitchen area. I can tell a lot of the members live nearby and visit often. There were majority 65+ that were in the workout area or playing badminton in the gym. We came right at 11, so the crowd was more seasoned, which we enjoyed. As it got later in there day, more kids came to play basketball on the half court. Price: 10/10 For a day pass, the price is $5 which you cannot beat! Memberships are reasonable as well. Half-Courts: 2/10 We were there to play basketball with our friends. The courts are half-court, which is a bummer. Apparently, there was an issue with unruly kids a month ago, but not sure. We still had fun and nobody bothered us. Overall: 5/10 TRCC is just okay. Olathe Community Center is a lot nicer with more full courts and excellent customer service. I don't think I would visit again but I am happy that the folks living nearby have a facility to go to, especially the 65+ crowd.

Typically in my experience neither is too busy and there is a good amount of space, which makes for a calming experience to me. Their workout area is not extremely large, but it still has a lot to offer with its array of free weights, workout machines, treadmills, etc. One thing I enjoy while utilizing the track is checking out all of the events they offer that you can see advertised on their screens. Their pool area seems pretty great as well, though I haven't used it myself.

There are a few in the Kansas City area. Each one has a social calendar with planned activities. Things like: a book club, art activities, and educational . There is a fitness room where they do group exercise classes plus a workout area with a few cardio, machines and strength training machines that are powered by air pressure... No clinking weights and super easy to adjust. Such a great way for an insurance company to outreach within the community. Absolutely no strings attached! If you want to use the way equipment, they would like for you to do an orientation. Some of the activities require an RSVP because of needing to have an appropriate amount of supplies. The first time you come in you register with the first name and phone number. Every time you visit you check in. That's it! Such a fabulous resource in our community.
