The people there probably do great work with clothing but this outcome was a bit ridiculous. All 3 of these Christmas stocking were done by the same lady. I took the correct one, the gingerbread one, in a few months ago while I finished the other 2. When I brought the other 2 in she said she remembered the gingerbread one because this process is so time consuming and intricate. I said I'd like her to do the same with the newest 2-the stocking shape with a hanger. I told her this twice. And she agreed that she remembered the first she did. When I came to pick them up they were sewn in a rectangular shape, like a placemat. I pointed out the shape and told her that I wanted a Christmas stocking. She said "you never told me that. You have to say that when you bring them in". I agreed to come back, an HOUR's drive from where I live, to get them. I get back and it's a half baked job. They don't even open, they're sewn shut. I'm pretty disappointed for driving so long thinking the Wichita area would have someone good. Could I have left it to have it redone a third time? Sure, but these take about 2-3 months to stitch and would cost a buyer about $350-$500 if I sold them. I didn't want to risk it and will need to find someone that knows what a Christmas stocking needs to look like. The first one turned out great, and I'm baffled as to why the others didn't unless she just didn't really want to do them and should have said so.

Many, many people have used Quickstitch for years, as I witnessed from seeing so many coming and going while we were there. I talked to a couple customers and found out they'd been using Quickstitch for all their alteration needs for a long time. Prepare to be told their policies in detail, including that they will only speak to the actual bride. The owner told me situations which led to each of their policies, including a bridesmaid who had a falling out with the bride and tried to cancel everything. Hence, only the bride, not parents or anyone else, can make changes in anything. They will also arrange cleaning and preservation of your dress. I was so relieved to be able to take the dress to someone I trusted and had worked with.

Very aggressive and threatening for somewhere that should be kind and light hearted for brides to feel comfortable and excited about their wedding dress! I included messages he sent to people unrelated to the situation. I personally wouldn't want my full name and details included in private messages to strangers on the internet by a shop I visited.
