Came here based off of recommendations. I didn't try other places or compare prices. I only needed one bridesmaid dress hemmed a couple of inches. The service was quick and friendly. The location was also very clean and felt organized. Upon picking up the dress, it appears to have been handled and hemmed beautifully. I was shocked that it cost $65 since it was a simple dress with only one layer needing to be hemmed, but idk if this is considered a normal price or not. I paid less than that for my own wedding dress to be hemmed (in a different state), which had multiple layers and a train. I do think that particular seamstress was an absolute treasure of a find and a likely outlier. Expect beautiful but high-priced work at Lee's along with pleasant customer service. read more

Friendly staff and they will provide you clean clothes. However, be prepared to iron and/or steam your clothes upon pickup. Regardless of whether you request starch, you're likely not going to get it. Two different occasions they pressed my slacks and chinos to remove the existing crease. Who presses dress pants to remove the crease? Lees. My shirt collars are jacked up. The shirt sleeves were just shoved in the plastic. No reinforcement in the collar so I have to iron all of my shirts prior to wear. Assuming the high reviews are from individuals that have never used a different dry cleaner. My mother's decades old leather vest had a very torn lining. I planned to have it completely replaced. The seamstress looked at it and informed me that replacement would be very difficult and cost hundreds of dollars. She instead recommended that I let her try to fix the individual tears. She gave me date of two weeks and when picked it up it was flawless. I could not find were the repair had been done and it only cost $30. read more

Have had the lining in a dress coat replaced, made a car coat out of a longer coat. Even had straps of Chaco sandals shortened. They are adept with skill and personality. read more

I've been using Mr. Lee for years for my alterations, tailoring, and dry cleaning. Every time I walk in he tells me hello and asks me how I'm doing. My husband is deploying soon and we needed to prepare new uniforms and change of rank on the shirts as well as hats. We are new to Alabama and live outside the Huntsville area. After calling around we decided to expand to close to base. We called around again and the only one who even understood what we needed and the time frame we needed it in was Lee's. We are SO happy we made the hour long drive each way. We just picked up the uniforms, 5 new shirts and 3 hats with name tapes, rank, branch and badges, and they are beyond expectations! By far the best place I have used in Huntsville. Other places (on Wynn Dr.) actually glue a name tag into your clothes -- that does not happen here. I will only use Lee's from here on out. They really are great and super friendly. read more

I had Mr. and Mrs. Lee alter 4 pants and 7 shirts. "Who knew an inch off the sleeves and an inch off the waist could make you look so good~!" (said my gf) Until now I didn't think alterations were necessary, but now I'm a believer. The Lees did a great job on my clothes. Mr. Lee went above and beyond to help me out. He had a rental shipped there for the next day and it looked great. I didn't even have to pay extra for the next day arrival as he was able to get it there during the next day's normal shipping with some delivery driver magic born out of years of experience.
