The cookies and cream shake was quite good to go with it. I heard glowing reviews about the Uffda, in particular, as well as the coffee. The sauce on the Yayoubetcha "made the sandwich" from the sounds of it. The green apple shake was "tangy and delicious" and they both "loved it". Very enjoyable atmosphere overall and the staff was very friendly. I'm not a big coffee shop guy myself, but I could see myself coming back. Certainly better than the franchise coffee shops; gotta love a local, thematic, small-town business!

Add in a little potato salad and coleslaw, both of which are as good or better than homemade, with a piece of garlic bread and I'm all set. In cold weather there is chili or soup and year-round the chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy makes for great comfort food. My favorite dessert is a warm chocolate chip cookie with soft serve ice cream. The buffet hours are relatively short - 11:00 to 1:30 and 5:00 to 7:30 - so allow enough time to relax and enjoy. When I don't have the time, there is order and pick up from 11:00 to 8:00 or build-your-own salad or entree-with-sides to-go during buffet hours.

It's a subway pretty much not to much to really expand on. (Firehouse, schlotzsky's, etc.) Got a free cookie for the kiddo with my combo meal today. The big upside to this one vs other ones I've been to in the area or on my trips to visit family is they actually have cheddar cheese slices instead of just shredded cheddar & insert what ever white cheese in the mix. As well every other subway in the area when I say easy reg. yellow Mustard they put a ton of Dijon & then try to just scrape it off when I tell them that's not regular mustard that's Dijon & get a dumb look from the employee when I ask them to remake it or just to forget it. Here they knew what I was talking about & even did better on what I call easy vs. Just squirting a ton on there anyway.
