We dropped our bags with the front desk. When we finished our delicious meal (best spring roll I've had in my life), our room was ready. I went to the room expecting to call down to the front desk for our bags, but our bags were already in the room. I took a shower and went to go get dressed, but I noticed my dress needed mending. Found a sewing kit in the bathroom. Life saver. When we went to dinner, they were very adamant we watch the fireworks from there. If we were still dining at times a firework, we would have a private balcony. If not, there was a secondary balcony right next to us. We went out on the balcony and had the most wonderful view of Magic Kingdom. They knew we were celebrating my fiancés birthday without us saying anything. He revived Betsy wishes though out the stay. But for dinner they provided this amazing cheesecake. Every night while we were out, they came and turn down the bed, provided water and glasses next to the bed, slippers.

The room was a good size and comfortable if a little on the tired side. Also, after much searching we discovered that our room had no mini bar which was kind of annoying. We weren't able to take advantage of the pool situation because it was unseasonably cold while we were there and even though it's heated, swimming while it was 40 degrees did not seem appealing. We did use the gym facility which was expansive and very well equipped. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Disney but it's not necessarily on par with other Four Seasons Hotels.

A few small things to consider- do not expect world class paddle boards, there is one SUP paddle that functions and two old paddle boards- kayaks seemed ok. The walk to the beach does require crossing a busy road, but once there it IS a nice beach, but you must bring all your own gear, including beach towels. There are not any beach rental chairs, etc. nearby. The wifi did not seem to work for us, the fan in the spare bedroom had a short apparently so my first night trying to sleep, it got up to 78 degrees in the room as we could not adjust the temp on the thermostat, the couch is not comfortable, the streaming buffered, so it took a couple hours to get that to work, there is a neighboring house with a large dog barking and although they warn you, I find it strange for the nightly price ($336/night!) to offer a small soap and shampoo. There is a washer, no dryer. The blankets were thin, beds were decent and the place was clean. There are no screens on any of the windows so you can't really get fresh air and there was a wasp nest above our bathroom window so definitely didn't want to leave a window ajar while showering. There is a "no refund" policy, so you are stuck there as we had wanted to check out after our first of two nights. There are not any walkable restaurants nearby. We were offered a couple of free nights to make up for all the mishaps we had. All in all, there were nice chairs and solitude by their water's edge. I could see a family enjoying the grounds and playing the outdoor games they had, but for us it was a letdown for the price. I think some people would be perfectly happy here but we had a lot of stress upon check-in and so many things not working properly.

Discovery Cove is such a beautiful venue. I literally could have stayed there all day. It's so scenic with the rivers, waterfalls, beach, winding pathways and the serene sounds of wildlife! I absolutely loved it. Upon entry we were greeted by staff members and checked in and given a badge to indicate to staff within the park that we were attending Paradise Nights. Once check in was complete, our first op was awaiting us in the lobby accompanied by a self serve wall of rum punch. Dinner was a staff served all you can eat buffet. The food was surprisingly tasty. There was shrimp and grits, seafood paella Chicken paella, chicken asada, grilled churrasco steak with chimichurri, maduros, yucca fries. There was a prepared salad and water already placed at your assigned table. I did not eat the salad and as surprised that salad was even being served with the current health issue related to various fresh produce. I saw a lot of people not even touching their salads. Beverages were included like soft drinks, tea, lemonade, etc. Dessert included 3 options pineapple upside down cake, tres leche, and jumbo chocolate cupcake. I had the chocolate cupcakes it wasn't that sweet and was just ok. I really enjoyed my meal it was warm and tasty. All parties were sat with their perspective guests so it was nice to have your own table for just you and whoever you came with. Each table had a waiter/waitress that refilled our beverages, brought napkins and straws, cleared our plates, and cleaned our table. The show was nice and took place at sunset. The finale was the best part! The show was broken up into 3 segments kind of like beginning, middle, and end. It was an open and semi covered pavilion with 3 stages. The performances rotated among the 3 stages but were predominantly performing around the center stage. The show was based on the principles of earth, air, water, & fire. There was a drummer, dancers, and aerial performers. The finale was awesome there was an actual fire dancer. He juggled, twirled, tossed rolled over and jumped over fire sticks it was great! I really enjoyed my time and would definitely like to return to Discovery Cove to enjoy the park during the day.

I literally moved from North Carolina to Orlando Florida just to be closer. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere (ive been here when its pouring, cold, and still enjoyed it) the music the animals, everything is great. You really feel like you are transported to world that isn't in busy Orlando Florida. I really hope Discovery Cove Management see's this review and understands how much I love this place. It started my content creation career as a teen as I wanted my NC friends to know exactly what I experience. I have recently made a complete guide of this park on youtube, just search MrBucketlist Discovery Cove Guide. I can't recommend this enough!!

The resort itself is extremely family friendly, which we loved having our daughter with us. Everyone we interacted with was so helpful and happy! The room and amenities were clean and well taken care of. Parking was available but not always close to your room, but also the walks weren't bad as everywhere on property was so pretty! All of the rooms had either a balcony or patio space as well. You have private beach access, the ability to rent a variety of beach items, pool, splash pad, mini golf and more! They had a schedule of activities (similar to what you would get on a cruise ship!) and so much to do to stay busy. Overall the resort was beautiful and we can't wait to come visit again!

Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. The rooms are remodeled with an ocean theme, making it welcoming and getting that vacation feel. I did nit give it a 5 star due to the ac and all the humidity that you can feel at night. Not sure if it was our ac or just being too close to the beach that it was super stuffy, smelled a bit like mildew and it was uncomfortable to sleep. It is pricey, specially during the holidays but a nice hotel with an awesome beach
