When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told that the $79 was only for our two-car garage. However, we have an RV garage. That would be a separate charge of $95. At least the female dispatcher was up front about it so I had the choice of declining. I decided to still have the maintenance done. I had a bulb out on my RV garage door opener. The dispatcher told me to have a bulb ready. She specifically told me to buy incandescent 60W bulbs. On the day of the service, the technician, Brayden, texted me and asked when I was available. This was prior to the window they gave me, so I was happy. I would be home in 20 minutes and informed Brayden. He said he was 45 minutes away. However, I realized that I hadn't bought the bulb. I rushed to my local Albertson's, where the selection of incandescent bulbs was limited, and bought a few types of bulbs. It took a while, and when I got home Brayden was there, finished with his maintenance and waiting for me so he could install the bulbs (I was not going to get up on a high ladder at my age [69] to install the bulbs myself; too risky), which I appreciated. However, he informed me that I actually needed LED, not incandescent bulbs for the opener. Those I had in my stock at home. But, that made my rushing around to the store unneccessary, and that was frustrating to me. I informed Brayden so he could educate his dispatchers. We also had a prior problem with the weather stripping at the bottom of our two-car garage door coming loose, which I fixed with Super Glue. But, I did feel that perhaps it was installed incorrectly. Brayden's response was that our door was out of warranty, and that my fix seemed to be OK. All in all, still satisfied with Action Garage Doors, but this experience was not five-star

Said the motor circuit boards were bad then proceeded to tell me the bearings were shot and the springs needed to be replaced. Plus my other door would fail soon too. The house is 3 yrs old!! He said it was going to cost me almost $1300. So I called Precision, the tech came out and found a bolt that was broken on the track and replaced it. This was causing the computer board on the motor to reject the settings. Charged me $0 for the fix

We hired him and his father to build us an outdoor kitchen. They quoted us 6 to 8 weeks in the beginning and we were very patient with him all last summer when we started the project. All the sudden they started dragging their heels and things weren't getting done. Messages would go unanswered and he would say he was coming and not show up. Matt had issues with the countertops to begin with and changed to butcher block assuring us that the butcher block was made for outdoors. We never even got to use the kitchen before the countertops were completely cracked and warped . Instead of fixing it he knocked the price down because he did not want to have to take care of the countertops. We did agree and asked him if he could at least come and fix the concrete that wasn't setting right. After I realized what a nightmare job he did on the pizza oven I asked him if he could repair it, not once did he answer me or acknowledge the issues with the pizza oven. He told me prior to us hiring that he had indeed built another pizza oven. I am doubting that at this point since the pizza oven is now cracking and heat and smoke ks coming out of the cracks. This pizze oven also smokes from the front when the smoke should be going out of the chimney. After researching I found out that a chimney for a pizza oven needs to be a minimum of 6 inches in diameter and he put a 3 inch flue on there. This whole process has been a disaster. The bricks are now falling off on the kitchen sides and we have continually had to glue them back on. We had another contractor out to finish the countertops for us and he pointed out that the kitchen sink is not plumbed right and there's no way to blow out the pipes ao they won't freeze. They also put no insulation around pipes going to the house.
