Good course but they close at 5. No food or drinks on the course. No heads up. Should have brought our own drinks if allowed.

Starting holes are friendly giving you some width to free up your swing but it gets more difficult as the round progresses.

Whispering Woods has been recently bought and is now called "The Woods" It appears the course is…read moreundergoing some renovations but right now the conditions are horrible. The course was a combination of Poa Annua and 417 hybrid Bermuda. It appears the greens keeper is trying to rid the Poa Annua but is not making progress on the greens. The fairways are not getting water and are bare with sparse growth ... that leads to the next problem .. One thing is that the greens are all very sloped. Combined with firmness (a strategy to prevent lingering ball marks ) and speed along with holes placed on 4 degree slopes and you have the worst "miniature golf " nightmare you can imagine. With wind it was a replay of the 2004 US Open at Shinnecock. With One putt, I barely missed the putt on the high side. Once the ball stopped -- the wind started it rolling .. rolling until off the green. I very lightly tapped a 3 footer that rolled 18' to the low side of the hole. Now imagine hitting irons from sparsely covered fairways with bare spots and getting little backspin to stop an approach shot. This all resulted in A very frustrating day. I have no doubt the new ownership will bring this Pinehurst course to playable conditions; however, right now Spring 2025 it is not a playable course.

We were looking for an affordable public course but it isnt worth 35$. Good layout and a lot of potential however.

One of the worst experiences in the Pinehurst area. It's…read moreold, built in 1906 and feels that way. The course is ragged and worn. The only thing that makes it interesting is the Donald Ross design. From the very beginning, our group of 12 was not impressed at all. There are no directional signs to parking or bag drop. When you walk up to the Club House you are immediately confused on where to go. There will be carts parked in the front and a big sign that says 'Cart Return'. There was no one there to answer questions or greet us. The two guys in the club house would win the prize for dour personality and sour disposition. The course is poorly maintained and unimpressive. There are few signs along the course that will designate the next tee boxes. Poorly maintained fairways and worse tee boxes. The only reason we played this course was that it's in the Top 100 Golf Digest ranking and a Donald Ross Design. The ladies in the Club House Restaurant and Bar must be new. They had no idea of what questions to ask. The first being are you starting or ending your round? After all it is a golf course. They had an attitude with our group of 12 and kept asking if we wanted a table. Someone in our group said 'we are all here to play golf and have a tee time in 20 minutes so we are on the clock. Her response was 'well I guess you could have said this was a to go order'. It was clear there was little training and these ladies were not happy. They certainly added no value to our experience. They made multiple errors on our orders and we were all frustrated and ready to get out of there as soon as possible. Skip this location as there are so many better options in the area.

Has small kitchen for food and drinks( soft drinks and beer). Has sitting area to eat. Small arcade area. The miniature golf course here is so awesome- it is not your average miniature golf course. It has unique chances a long with it- weather throwing balls, , puzzles, coordination, you name it. It even has a small zip line within! Service: everybody was very friendly Price: reasonable. Came here with my son but I enjoyed it more!

There are 3 course Yellow, red, and blue. I didn't realize that there were multiple course until half way through the course I was wondering how I get on the indoor bus. Each course had a uniqueness that made it completely different from the other courses. My favorite from Yellow course was the zip line, red course was the slippery floor and the Rocket , and blue course was the bus and pool table. Each course & hole had an activity thaw was an interactive experience. The cost for this activity was $16 for all 3 courses per person, great price for this experience. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I didn't eat but definitely bring a water bottle as they have refill station near the bathroom. The bathrooms were clean as well as the inside & on the courses. Employee was dusting the course in between people finishing their shots. The parking lot was huge, so definitely plenty of parking. I had a great time and definitely recommend, if you're looking for a fun, unique activity. Cheers
