Homes, and primarily autos and most recently [well…read more3+ years ago] I scheduled a few pieces of jewelry through their subsidiary, Jewelers Mutual. Consistently throughout the years every interaction with Geico has been great - including dealing with a stressful auto accident my husband had a couple of years ago. We've used Geico's roadside assistance numerous times over the decade+ with them [battery replacement, to put a spare tire on, and actual towing several times]; had the one auto accident and subsequent estimates/repairs; and numerous windshield dings repaired and one total windshield replacement. I don't recall any homeowner claims. Geico is great as, when I went to full time telework and the hubs retired, they sent us a refund check of ~ $150.00 due to these changes in status and the resultant risk reduction on all our vehicles. Geico is all over it! Thanks for that! Our claims adjuster/estimator for hubs' accident was top-notch! He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, timely, communicative, and consistently so! He came to our home for the initial estimate, and, when the body shop found additional wreck-related damage, visited the remotely located body shop on 3 occasions to assess the additional damage and update the estimate and other paperwork. He was always available and responsive to the numerous questions I had and was just exemplary! The numerous towing folks' Geico sent out were always professional, helpful, and very kind, as were the auto glass repair folks who often met me on-site at work locations as well as at our home! Recently the state of AL contacted me for not having mandatory collision on a non-drivable car that is classified as "parked" at our home [until we trade it in at some point], and Geico came to the rescue! The customer service man helped me by pointing me to an affidavit to complete to care of the issue, and it did! The Geico app is fantastic. It is so intuitive and easy to manage your auto/homeowner's policies. Even though the Jewelers Mutual piece of Geico is not fully incorporated in the Geico app, at lease it gives you your jewelry policy number and has the Jewelers Mutual phone number in it. The app makes policy adjustments a breeze! Thanks, Geico, for providing great service over all these years!

    I've been a loyal State Farm customer for 34 years, and I can honestly say this is the worst…read moreexperience I've ever had with an agent or agency. This office is extremely unresponsive--calls frequently go unanswered, and voicemails are often ignored for days, if they're returned at all. I had a billing issue where payments were being misdirected to my previous agent, and despite multiple phone conversations, the problem was never resolved. When I finally decided to cancel my policies, the agent, Wendy, sarcastically thanked me for "wasting her time" trying to sort out the billing issue, then abruptly ended the call and refused further communication. I later visited the office in person with documentation to prove the billing error. Her staff struggled to review six months of payment history and ultimately dismissed me, saying I'd have to speak directly with Wendy--who wasn't even in the office during normal business hours. After waiting 10-15 minutes, she returned only to tell me she wouldn't discuss the issue further and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I was calm and simply asking for clarification about my payments. The accusation and threat were completely uncalled for. This agency has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and in my experience, potentially unethical behavior. They accepted my payments and then claimed I hadn't paid. I strongly recommend avoiding this agency.
