Driving home to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, my 11-year-old daughter and I stopped in for a manicure/pedicure. Sort of a pit stop after driving several hours from Hendersonville, North Carolina. I needed a break from driving and this diversion is not inconsistent with my frequent hygiene habits. No problems or complaints and hardly a wait in this packed nail salon. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Prices were on par with what I'm used to paying for similar service in South Florida. Parking is tight in this busy shopping center. Nail cutter and related tools were taken from a sterile package. My daughter was happy with her mani/pedi and even picked a nice color. No issues for me as well. Not impressed. I decided to treat myself to a much needed pedicure. I opted in for a luxury plus hot stones. The women who worked on me didn't converse which was fine with me, but I felted she did an extreme half job. When I got home I noticed I could see through the black polish and the top of my big toe on my left foot was chipped . I won't be back. read more

At first I was very pleased with my pedicure. It was very pretty and I loved the tech working with me. She really took her time and did a great job. Then, 3 days later it started chipping. For what we paid, it could have at least lasted a week! I wasn't doing anything to make it chip. I wore flip flops almost the entire time since we were on vacation. I don't think I have ever had a pedicure that only lasted 3 days. Even when I do it myself it lasts longer than that! I will not be going back. The equipment was nice, the techs were nice, and they gave me a bottle of water while waiting. If only the pedicure had lasted longer. I won't be recommending this place to anyone. Ask for Cyndy otherwise your fill in has less than a 50/50 chance of catastrophe. She has done my nails 2x, both times I was more than satisfied. 4x I have had one of the men do my nails - varying degrees of mediocrity to nightmarish "uh, no you need to fix this!" They can be super friendly (back in the pedicure area) or remote and almost rude (up in the manicure area). The pedicure area is clean, they do a good job. The manicure area is filthy, like, scuz dirty. The parking lot fills up quickly, so leave 10 minutes for circling. read more

Absolutely not acceptable! They rushed the pedicure so much that they didn't cut the nails, ingrown or anything. She basically just rushed although there were no people waiting or such. Half of the employees did not understand what the customers said or asked for. Nobody that spoke english would help or jump in to support with the request. We went here for mani/pedis for my moms birthday before a wedding. They were very accommodating of our bigger party. My grandma is in her 70s and had not cut her toes in a while (ew) but Su didn't bat an eye and gave her the BEST pedicure and manicure ever. I am so impressed he did not look disgusted and gave her extra attention. GREAT job, Su! We started to get late on time, but I wanted a gel manicure, Trish gave me a great manicure in literally 15 minutes. They did so amazing! 10/10 recommend. read more

I've been to this salon several times in the past and was satisfied with the service that I received. However, today I went in twice with my daughter to get our nails painted, and was VERY unsatisfied with the way the owner (Carl- I think that was his name) spoke to me, he was extremely rude and abrupt. On the first visit around 10:30am, I went in and told him what I wanted and he yelled "WHAT?!" I repeated the service, noticing he didn't look up to acknowledge my request. I said I'll come back later. Giving this business the benefit of the doubt, I returned a second time at 5pm, and to no avail his attitude was worse!!! So, I called to voice my complaint and he hung the phone up in my face. Other complaints The salon was extremely hot. The door was opened and it was 83 degrees and smelt of toxic fumes/chemicals, funky feet, and perfume. With NO air circulating... imagine that!!! I recommend Spantaneous Nails next to Publix. The atmosphere was nice. Smiling faces, the door was opened, but the A/C was on, nice music.... I left a $20 tip for a $16 dollar service. read more

I'd been a patron of this salon for gel manis and pedis since at their old location and for the most part pleased with the service I was getting. Once at the new location, I continued as a client. When I went to pay , the owner gave me a total that was considerable less than the two times before. When I inquired, he saI'd I'd been over charged the last two times. No action taken . Two days later, my manicure started peeling. I went on on my lunch break to have it fixed and was told I needed to go back in the following day because the tech that worked on me was off. My time is valuable and I work hard for my money. I'll never go back. read more

Absolutely horrible. The wait is always outrageous and the staff is rude. Last time I went I asked for gel nail and instead they gave me acrylic, which looked awful. When I went back to have them removed, they took them off without even soaking them and it was extremely painful. I will never go back and won't ever recommend them. read more

I have been going to Legacy nails for years now. They are amazing! Especially Timmy for nails and Anna for pedicures and waxing. They are efficient, inexpensive , and always polite and caring! There is one older guy that does nails that is very rude and I always have to ask him to redo several things. He rushes through and then has an attitude if you ask him to do something. I went to get my nails done for New Years and he was obviously ready to go home and did my nails faster than anyone has done. You could see where the fill in was perfectly. There was a clear line where the old nail was because he didn't hardly grind them down. He made them so thin I could still see and feel my real nail underneath. Not to mention he then was trying to be nice because he could tell how upset I was. He asked where I lived in pooler and I told him. He then proceeds to tell me that there are lots of blacks in his apartment complex and he needs to move. "Blacks go boom boom boom above my apartment and little black kids running everywhere all the time." I go today and unfortunately he was the only person available. He started rushing through once again and I had to ask him to put more acrylic on five of my nails because I could still see real nail and it was lifting. He literally laughed at me and was talking to everyone else who works there and they were all staring at me giving me mean looks. Even after asking him to please slow down and fix a few things my nails still look horrible. I asked another older women there if she could please do them and she said "no! I can't do that you fine!" I have had two other women and the guy with all the tattoos do my nails there and they were the best around town. Stay away from the older guy that's usually wearing a polo t shirt!! Love this place! Great value (gel mani and basic pedi for $55, which includes hot towels and massage.). There's a huge color selection and tons of chairs. I've never had to wait, even on busy Saturday's. I love that they have two panda bear kids pedicure chairs. My niece loves it and always feels so special. Most nail places I go to leave no impression on me and I tend to not go back to the same place more than once, but Legacy has won me over for being quick, efficient, quality, and affordable. read more

I wish I could give it 0 stars. One older woman who does toes was rude and rushing my friend and I. She didn't check to see were my toes dry before trying to force my shoes back on. I want to like this nail salon because the quality of the work is really well done, but as other reviews have stated, the staff is less than satisfactory. Many times I've walked in and stood there with no direction, and when I was addressed is was as if I was bothersome and shouldn't be there. I had my feet, nails and eyebrows done before going out of town. First day of my trip, my gel fingernail polish began to peel. I called salon and spoke with staff member. Agreed to redo nails upon my return home. I took pictures of my nails as proof. Came back from trip. Got off work early and went to salon a few minutes before 7 today. Guy at register as me to have a seat at station and wait on nail technician. This guy left. A female approved me. She stated I needed to come back tomorrow. I explained that O worked a 12 hour shift and could not return. She stated no one could do my nails. I just asked what day would be better. She walked out the door. A gentleman from across the room began yelling at me saying his wife told me to come tomorrow. I was still trying to explain to him. He was very rude and very disrespectful. I tried this salon while I was on vacation in Savannah. My daughter and I both had the the luxury pedicure and it was amazing. She got a manicure and it was typical. I have natural nails and get the dipped in powder. The colors they have are limited which is okay for me because I don't normal go crazy with the colors. The young man who did my nails started them while I was still getting a pedicure. This was great because no one wants to spend all day in the nail salon. When my pedicure was done we finished up at his table. He went through the process of repeatedly dipping my nails. Then he started to file them down. They were they were looking uneven and bumpy, which is normal at the first stage of filing. Then he started to apply topcoat. I hadn't even washed my hands. Dip powder and the residue from filing was all over my hands. I didn't have time for him to fix them because we had a river boat tour scheduled and I figured it was my fault that I didn't read the reviews first. Also the pricing was not that bad. They didn't charge for my nails to be cut down, which is an extra charge at my salon. So for me I can neither recommend them nor discourage you from going. This place sucks on so many levels. The girl doing my nails just gave me the worst massage, you know the one where they drag their thumbs along your tibia instead of massaging the muscle? Yuck. Plus there is another couple manicurists sitting next to me watching videos REALLY LOUD. Come on. The nail polish is all old. Thanks for not cutting my nails down enough, btw. I had deluxe pedicure (28$) She did great job and took her time. It was the best pedicure I've had in a while.

1st time to this nail salon. Seemed very busy which I thought was a good sign. I went in for a simple polish change on my toes and fill in for my set of nails. From the moment I sat down I felt rushed. Not a moment of it was relaxing. Being a new mommy who also works full time going for the only "me time" I get every 2 weeks, that was very disappointing. There were 2 employees making out in a pedicure chair! Then they told me that they could not put clear gel over nail polish, which is not only what I get every 2 weeks, but I am also a licensed cosmetologist who is very well educated in nails even though I decided to do hair. So since their skill level can't do something that simple I tried to make it easier & I decided to get gel polish all over, again rushed to pick out the gel color. I couldn't get out of there fast enough! The next day my polish was already chipping!! I'm not even going back there to get it fixed! $40 for a horrible job and pushed out the door!
