This place is really great! I started getting into film photography about a year ago, these guys have an awesome selection of film stock and cameras to get you started. I think I've got a little over 2,000 pictures developed and they always nail it with the development and scanning, and they'll wrap your negatives up nice and neat for you! Turnaround time is just a few days and the wait is always worth it. So many amazing family memories captured so far. I can't recommend Legacy enough. read more

I've been to both locations now, I usually go to Dallas for prints but stopped by here to get some help with a film camera I bought. The staff was super helpful, my camera ended up being a dud but I found a Canon Sure Shot in store for a very decent price. Shoutout to Reese for showing me how to load film as a former serial user of disposable film cameras and for answering all my questions. I'm as amateur as it gets but the staff here and in Dallas are nothing but kind. I added some photos of my first set of scans with my Sure Shot -- these were developed and scanned at the Northwest Highway location, they all came back great! read more

I just want to say that I have loved all of my experiences with film at this shop and have recommended them to several fellow local photographers. Unfortunately I purchased a "new open box" Polaroid camera as well as three packs of film from them and upon using it realized that the film coming out of it is colorless, streaky and no matter the exposure or development procedure it's outcome is always horrible. Honestly it looks like a bad instagram filter. In the worst way. When I brought the camera in I was told it's a known issue and that Polaroid has a new owner and that even the associate at the desk doesn't use it anymore because it looked like the film was melted the last time they used one. That they they wouldn't return it and didn't even want to buy it back used because they didn't want to sell it. But they knowingly sold it to me... brand new for full price with loads of film that is essentially trash. Developing my rolls of pictures was too expensive, and I was not reimbursed for the blank film.

Don't buy used cameras from here, because despite their claim that the cameras are tested, they are not. Got back a roll that was ruined due to problems with the camera. read more

If you're shooting for customers under deadline my experience says no. Lots of great reviews here from privates. So I am sure they do a great job. It just hasn't been my experience under deadline. I'd have gone to Barron's if I wanted to get treated like this. Still have $80 on the table. Let's see what happens. Now that I will be late I don't know if my customers will still want my work. I get photo copies made at this location that I can use for art projects. I usually use Walgreens, because they are cheap. But when I need the color to be accurate I send them to Fortworthphotolab.com... The site is easy to navigate and you can pay at the store for pick up or on line w PayPal. If you go to pick it up and think it could have been done better or different, they will re do for you. The price is reasonable. read more

I just got into film photography and the folks at Fort Worth Photo Lab have provided fantastic service every step of the way! When the last roll I developed was scanned, I discovered an anomaly in every picture that I suspected was a problem with their scanner and not my film. When I went in to pick up the negatives, they allowed me to use their light table to check the negatives. When we could not locate the issue on the negatives themselves, they immediately offered to rescan the images after they had resurfaced their machinery. The resulting scans were flawless, and they have won a customer for life! read more

I have never written a Yelp review before but felt the need to for Fort Worth Photo Lab. I ordered a canvas print for a special occasion but was not able to pick it up at the time I requested because of an emergency. I showed up on Saturday to find FW Photo Lab closed which was my fault for not checking ahead of time. I emailed Maira and told her I needed this print tonight and apologized for not picking it up the day before. Maira responded within two minutes and said she would be at the store in fifteen minutes to help me out! That's great customer service and I will continue to use FW Photo Lab in the future. Disappointed in the quality and service of this place. I dropped off a photo to get restored and was told 4 to 5 days. 6 days passed was told it was going to take another 4 days, no big deal so I waited called 4 days later still wasn't done. Was told it was going to be another 3 to 4 days and they will put a rush order on in. I believed when that happened the quality of the photo went to poop. Picked it 3 days after my last phone call. Looked at the photo and was extremely disappointed in the picture.!!! 80 dollars for the same thing I could've done with photoshop. Expected a more professional outcome for the amount i paid. Cashier took my payment and didn't even bother to ask if I like it, I think it's because she knew they did a horrific job. Save yourself the time and money and find a better place.. read more
