We have been going to Joe for years now. I have 2 little boys and he has done a great job with their hair. He is very good with them too. All of them are very nice. They will talk to my shy kids and help them feel seen, which is super important when kids are involved. Great experience all around. My husband even started going to Joe after years of going to a popular place who would always mess his hair up. He gets a very simple haircut and even has his beard cut/cleaned up too. When I've been there they have always taken walk ins, even when very busy-they will fit you in if possible. They make it fun and entertaining. Now my review: It's extremely rare to find a barber who can cut your EXACTLY (literally exactly) how you like it cut the very first time .... And Wally did just that. Dude was very chill and easy to talk to! And also didn't talk TOO much which is important as well. Conversation was good... haircut is great. And the vibes in the shop are awesome. Needed a last minute clean up as I'm in the area from Sacramento and Legends Barbershop came through in the clutch. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by two barbers. I didn't have an appointment which is rough when Thursday and Friday hits although Yohan (spell check that name) rose up to the beard trim and has me lookin so fresh n so clean for my meeting tomorrow. Honestly disappointing. I Showed up for a skin- #4 fade and 1-inch trim. I walked out with a hackjob high&tight skin-#2 police academy-style fade, 3 inches lopped of the top, and uneven sideburns. Atmosphere was great, seemed like a great shop, but they employ sloppy or novice barbers at best from my experience. My cut was hastily rushed through by someone who seemed like they were high on something and left me to go home and fix my beard and sideburns myself. If I knew I would've had to do this I would've saved my 45$ and went elsewhere. Normally I'd give a place a 2nd chance before posting a review like this but this is solely to lol out for others, don't get your hair cut here if you care about your appearance read more

So happy to have found the perfect barber and shop for my almost 2 year old. After a bad experience with a salon I found legends here on yelp. Johan helped us out the first time and fixed my sons hair and more importantly was patient with him moving around a bunch. This time I made sure to make an appt with johan and he did not disappoint! He came to the seating area first to make sure my son was comfortable with him. Once in the chair he handed him the clippers and let him turn them on before he started cutting. My son had such a great experience and sat through it without my having to hold his hand. Would definitely recommend legends to anyone looking for a great atmosphere and great staff. read more

Terrible. Trying not to be a mom, but the haircut Johnny gave my son this afternoon is terrible! It is so uneven in front bangs area. It's like a 4 year who took scissor to their hair. My son does not like to make wave but like I told him, Johnny will not become a better barber if he does not get feed back. My son will be pretty pissed at me if he finds this out but, sorry, I can't not say something, it's that bad. read more

Well.... Took my brother to get a haircut and lets just say I'm taking him somewhere else to get it fix it was uneven and took up to an hour just to get a simple cut. My guy took like 20 minutes on each side to fade it but literally was the worst fade ever. read more
