I was a weary walk in while traveling through Dallas in need of a clean cut. I wandered in right before closing, and they happily took me in and hooked me up. They took their time, did exactly what I asked, were friendly and talkative, and made it a great experience. It was an awful experience. I walked in and requested my son's longer hair to be cleaned up. I wanted the sides and back cleaned up. I asked to take off minimum off top. This man done gave my son a buzz cut. After I realized it , it was too late to say anything. At the end I asked him why he took off so much, I told him I literally in detail requested to please leave the length. He responded that I should've shown him a picture and started to argue with me how he didn't touch the top aka his bangs, that was the only thing that was left long. I told him I'm not going to sit here and argue with you, he finished off took off the robe knowing I was extremely upset and mockingly said walah... just do yourself a favor don't go here. First time trying this place out! I walked in and only waited about 15 min . Aaron took care of me that day ! He asked what I wanted and got to work making me look sharp !! He had some good skills ! You can tell he's a seasoned barber !! This place has the old school barber shop feel to it and it's right in downtown Arlington!! I got the hot towel treatment with the cut ! It was very soothing !! I'm only rating the woman who cut my hair not the establishment as a whole. she didn't listen to my requests after I stated the multiple times and can't edge a beard or mustache to save her life. ive had good experience with women cutting my hair in the past because they have been great at styling it. I won't say don't go here but i would avoid the female "barber". pretty disappointed i just spent $50 for this sub par haircut. read more

Always a good time no matter who you get at the shop! They are a busy shop so make sure to make an appointment if you can! They do accept walk ins, but the line can be super long especially when they are busy during the weekends! Just goes to show that they are a hustling and bustling barber shop! I always get a head shave and beard trim which leaves me feeling clean with nice and edged up lines! read more

I know I was a walk in on a weekday morning which usually means I don't get the highest rated barber in the place but I did not have a good experience. The barber was on a video call the whole time I was in the chair speaking VERY loudly into his ear buds only a few inches from my ears. He didn't have a mask on so I can only imagine, with the way he was projecting, what made from his mouth onto my head. He only spoke to me to ask what I wanted at the beginning. The haircut itself was fine but I was disappointed it didn't include a neck shave for this price. I prefer a strait razor neck shave but didn't even get a bic shave here. My normal barber costs the same as this but I get a good neck shave with hot lather, a shoulder massage and a good conversation. I regret trying this place. read more

I was a walk in as I used to go to one in grand prairie alot back when they was there I walked in and we'll I got Aaron who was laying on the couch resting everything was going good only went to get my beard trimmed and a razor shave as I have done for many years now at different places Well I was told that reviews is what this place goes off of I paid $25 for a mediocre razor shave which I was cut in the process And ruined my whole experience no one wants a cut on their face that's why I paid to have it done overall just a bad day Maybe next time I can have someone with more experience shave me!!! read more

We took our incredibly difficult two year old in to get a haircut - let me tell you, he DESPISES people even touching his hair. We we're both nervous. The second that we sat him down in the chair and put the gown on him, he started shrieking bloody murder. Here I am thinking, wow, this is going to end terribly. But it didn't. In fact, it was the best haircut he's ever gotten. The barber was insanely patient and talented, and I am so happy we chose to go to Legendz. This was our first trip to Legendz, but it won't be our last! Isa was fantastic. We brought our 4 year old here today and I'm impressed. Isa was wonderful. Not only was Isa patient, he also made sure the cut was perfect. This is the first time I haven't been worried that someone was man handling my son for a cut. And this cut was detailed and never rushed. My husband also received the royal treatment!! perfect cut with attention to detail. Was in Arlington for work travel but needed a cut bad for a wedding. 0 regrets coming here and totally glad I did. From what it seems this place is always bumping with people waiting for a cut and for a good reason. When I called before I drove over I was told just to come as a walk in, was about 5-8 min wait and was called over by Ignacio (Nacho) who was able to fit me in his schedule. I told him what I normally got but wanted to switch it up, he suggested pretty much what I had in mind and did a great job. He was quick but also was a perfectionist as he took his time and double, triple checked everything to ensure everything was perfect. Ended up with a fresh clean cut better than I expected, perfect definition of a real barbershop. The amount of care he took made me want to just get my haircuts here instead of back home at my local hipster barber shop. My barber sat me down and once he started shaving down my hair I was made aware that he had to leave in 15 minutes?! Why would you sit someone down if you dont have the time to do a full cut, especially for someone who has alot of hair such as I did. I asked for a fade on the sides which, he did albeit very rushed looking but upon further review he didn't cut it evenly so it looks thicker in some parts and when I had concerns about a long chunk of hair that I felt he told me that it was a part of the top and it'd comb over, and denied my request to cut it anyways, probably because he was getting ready to leave and rushed me through my payment. I had already waited an hour so I just decided that I would get it recut somewhere else because there was no way they could have slot me in with someone else. Will not be coming back. read more

Have been using this shop as my regular barber shop for the past couple of months and love the place but I'm a walk-in, always forget to set an appointment or stop by when I look like I need one, recently as a walk-in wait time has become over an hour long to the point they tell me they can't fit me in and close. I was at the barbershop at the scheduled time and Jonathan couldn't make it, but I was charged 45 bucks!! Currently looking into legal actions I can take, because this is ridiculous! If the barber can't show up just know you will be charged full amount through Styleseat and they will ghost you when you ask for a refund. read more

I showed him a picture of what I want my haircut to look like from my Pinterest page and Aaron cut it as close as you can get to it. FINALLY a legit barbershop in Arlington. Been looking for and wanting something like this in Arlington - or let alone, the mid-cities - for a while. There are other places that claim to be what Legendz actually is - an honest, classic, premium barbershop at an affordable price. They use straight edge razors a lot and use them all over your face, neck, and head to get a solid clean cut. Often times you go to places and they never get a straight edge out; not here, they use it more than they use clippers and scissors. We all know this is preferred as you get a cleaner, shorter, longer-lasting clean cut. The shop itself is also great - nice setup, clean, great chairs, and the barbers seem legit. read more

Say your usual barber gets sick, or goes on vacation, and you are in dire need of a cut. The feels hit you - guilt, fear, anxiety, shame. All of it. But you NEED a trim. Legendz is your place. In my time with my regular person, she has missed twice only. In 14 years. But when I do have to get that swift sidepiece type of cut, I go here. Let me tell you, tjis place is jumping. They prefer appointments, but will take walk in. Just make sure you are in the door by about 15mins before close. These guys know the stuff, and can do an exceptional old style cut or an up to date trend. They are all conversational, unique and cool. They will get you in and out, and you leave feeling cool. I had Isa and the hair cut is fire. The dude is quick, solid, and knows his stuff. The guy only works weekends so if you want that straight fire make sure to hit Isa a couple days ahead of time. The first time we went it was the staff was amazing. We went back in October and the guys that were in there were all wearing masks. We just went back and the first thing I noticed was absolutely no one was wearing a mask. Not one client or barber. My son is medically sensitive and we cannot take a chance so we had to leave. It was disappointing to see the lack of care. Now I'm sure if we asked they would've put a mask on but if they're not even bothering to do the easiest thing and wear a mask for the safety of their clients, why would I expect that they sanitize with care as well? This place is LEGIT. Mason, Johnathan, and Aaron have all given me the best cuts I've ever had. All the barbers are attentive and friendly but it definitely helps to schedule an appointment beforehand once you've found the barber you like as this shop can get busy quickly. Aaron Garcia stole my money. I had an appointment at 12:30 after waiting for 30 minutes I left. He had already been late to a previous appointment but it wasn't much so I let it slide. I text him and let him know to just cancel the appointment he said yea never did it charged for the haircut and the tip on top of that hasn't responded to my messages I've emailed the company that does the booking I'm sure it's a process to get my refund but the fact he ignores me takes the money for a service he didn't do isn't right. I really wanted to like this place, it has a cool vibe and I want to support businesses in the trending Downtown Arlington area. Here's the short version of my 3 visits: Vist #1 - I arrived right on time for my appointment and all the chairs were full. I knew what my barber looked like from the site so I sat and waited, and waited. After 30 minutes the he's done and another guy immediately gets into his chair and they start talking. I go up and introduce myself to Aaron and tell him I've been waiting 30 minutes, he tells me he called my name and the other customer said that he was me, the guy stole my appointment! He said he'd get to me when he finished his next customer. I feel like he should have taken me first or at least offered a discount or something. Visit # 2 - great haircut from Josh, a nice guy and really knows his stuff. Visit #3 - I arrived early for my appointment, Josh had a little kid in his chair so I sat down and waited. After 20 minutes of my appointment time had passed he finished with the kid and as I'm getting up the kid's dad gets in the chair. Josh tells me he's running behind (why didn't he tell me this earlier?) and he'd be right with me after giving the dad a quick haircut. After 25 minutes he's still working on him and stops to walk around to the front of the chair and continue his conversation with his customer. This happens a few times, at this point it's 45 minutes past my appointment time and Josh is in no hurry to get to me. Even though I really needed a haircut I just couldn't wait around any longer, plus I was pretty upset and just wanted to get out of there. As I said, I really wanted to like this place and I even gave them a second chance but it really bothers me when people waste my time. read more

I've been here for my last two haircuts and beard trims. I was definitely impressed with the time and attention to detail, as well as the finished results from both Josh and David. I went in as a walk in both times and it worked out okay in terms of the wait (No wait the first time, about 10 minutes the second time). Both times I went in around 2pm. They do spend more time on each person compared to places like Fantastic Sams/Great Clips/etc, so it's probably a good idea to make an appointment. read more
