My sister in WKY found this guys contact info, I called him, he was on his way from Nashville and drove straight to us. He knew over the phone what it was and assured me he could fix it, so we instantly felt relieved. He was very professional, he pulled behind my car and had caution lights on his truck, so finally cars were avoiding my lane. Price was very affordable. I have saved his info in case I need to call him again as I drive in KY often. He was a lifesaver that day and saved me days of headache from possible tow out of state.

We called him at 1:00 to see how soon he could help us. He was ready ASP, the next morning he called and found us a new set of tires. He was happy to show up and tow the car from the motel to his shop and had us back on the road in no time. He was very nice and communicated the progress often. Overall, we had a very good experience and the would recommend if you ever need help on the road in Illinois.

Was driving through Kentucky on my way north and had some car problems late in the evening. At the…read morePilot station I was given this gentleman's number by a friendly member there for Lyle from RSS automotive. Called him and within 20 - 30 minutes he was there to try to give me a helping hand. Although he wasn't able to assist me that evening being that it was late and unable to acquire the parts to do the job, he did give me the name of a reputable service center that could early next morning called Purcell tires and service. Next morning I was towed by Michael from Stinnets towing and within hrs was on the road again and on my way. Thanks again Lyle, Michael and the guys at Pilot and Purcell.

Mike knew that our money was very tight and decided to screw us anyway. We made it sound like he was going to give us a great deal and honor the price he quoted us. Sure he did. We maxed out our emergency credit card to pay him to fix an oil leak only to find it was still leaking. We took it back and he said he could definitely fix it. (For another$1100) Why he didn't fix it the first time was certainly all part of the plan, I'm sure. The icing on the cake is this is our only vehicle. We have to rent a car the whole time he has our truck and not fixing it. We are looking for a new mechanic that's trustworthy if anyone out there can recommend one. We're new to Kentucky and don't know anyone so we're going by others recommendations. Preferably one that the waiting area that doesn't reek of cigarettes. Just so disappointed and dissatisfied with this whole experience. Everyone else we've met in Kentucky has been so nice and has been a joy to work with.

It was, My wife was so insistent that ford wouldn't fix it and so i never called and made me take it elsewhere, boy did I pick right the right shop. Now I have it scheduled with the manufacturer to fix it. An honest shop is a rarity in these days.

Christian came to get us, was able to get us safely moved off the highway, then gave our whole family (all 5 of us!) a ride in his extended cab truck to a hotel, lowered the vehicle again for us to get our belongings, and then continued on to take the vehicle to the shop, with a promise to get us picked up in the morning! Breaking down so far from home was trying to say the least, but Christian did everything within his power, going above and beyond to help.
