Unfortunately, even after being cleaned, the hearing aid isn't quite right. The staff offered to do further checks, but the fee was outside my budget. Fortunately, there was no charge for doing the clean and check. I had expected to pay in the range of £20-50, so it's very kind of them not to charge. The office is very pleasant and professional looking. Should I be in London and need hearing aid service again, I'd return to HSH without reservation.

Also showed great patience answering all of my queries. Great sense of humour and we had time for a bit of a giggle. She advised me to get a certain type of ear-spray from Boots to prevent any ear infection as she thought they appeared rather vulnerable. Her parting advice was for me to get in touch with her if I had any further problems. Wish I had had a chance to say Hello to Tracy, but she was busy with another client. They made quite a few mistakes with my hearing aids but were very unapologetic. To make things worse, they are quite a bit more expensive than elsewhere. They claim to justify this with the level of service they offer, but I can't say I really saw any evidence of this. There are other places in London who offer the same services at better prices and with more flexibilty (Cubex close at 5pm on the dot and refuse to even answer the phones after this time, which is unreal for a company who try to claim to offer the best levels of customer service. They also do not open on weekends). In my opinion, they need to move with the times and fully grasp the true meaning of customer service. Nice offices though

I have just moved back to the UK after ten years living in Australia , I have been a little shocked…read morehow over this time away the NHS and Doctors have become so infatuated with budgets and have no problem in being open about this with their patents Heath bridge medical practice is a prime example of this . My little boy has an occasional bad night cough, in Australia he was prescribed a drug that worked amazingly well for the very rare time it was needed . I requested this drug at heathbridge and was told although it would be fine to use and it would of course work it was "very expensive" being 40 pounds ....this the doctor was very hesitant to do for me ..and initially refused saying this would be flagged up by the managers , She suggested that should the cough come back ..I should take him in late at night /early morning to A+E to sit and wait for some of this drug!! I couldn't believe that she was actually serious and was happy to place my 3 year old son in great discomfort and a prolonged wait in A+E so the practice would stay in budget After a few "frank" words it was agreed that I can have the drugs that will help my little boy if I agreed to pay privately for them ..(happy to do this) ...but it does go to show this practice in its true light. This is also not the first time practice budget have been brought into the conversation when discussing drugs I have required for myself or family . If your NHS you are very much second class ..i would not trust or wish to be seen by this practice should I ever have a serious problem . My summery of Heathbridge would be , generally OK , but I do have the feeling that the doctors feel the patients get what they pay for (or not NHS ) Since my multiple brushes with "budgets" I no longer trust I will get the full medical picture or best advice / drugs from this practice and will be moving in the next few months .
