minutes ago I have no idea how this place is still in business. They are not even worthy of the 1 star that I had to rate them.. I've been dealing with the for 6 years and the service only gets worse.. Ron the owner/manager is a coward and makes his employees do his dirty work, by lying to the customers, because he's not man enough to face the customer. It was a nightmare when I bought my pool and spa 6 years ago and it still is today waiting on them to service my spa, wait a month for a no call/no show and when I called I was told that the computers were down and they had no way of get the work orders, however one guy was on a service call and one was supposedly out sick. I am SUPPOSE to hear from them today. I'm sure this won't happen. Again WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Please don't do it to yourself and stress yourself over broken promise... Update I spoke to Michelle today and see seemed to really care about customer service, she had Nick and Mike come out today and look, both of them were very professional and nice... I had a spa with a small leak in the jet supply hoses. Leisure Lifestyles came out and attempted to repair 3 separate times in 2016/17. The repair employee said that the hoses were beginning to dry rot and that I would continue to get leaks unless I replaced the hoses with a kit. I opted to do that and they asked that I let them take it to Columbus (I live in Centerville, GA and at the time they had a store in Macon, GA.) so lthey could leak test prior to returning. They picked up the Spa in June 2017. That was the last I saw of it, except for a visit to their facility in July 2018. Ron, the manager, came up with numerous excuses. First after replacing the hoses, he stated that a pump had failed. Then it was stated that is was an old spa and he was trying to find a pump. I located one in about 10 minutes. Next he was stating that he had been sick, a relative was sick, etc. Then he stated that he could not get the control board to work. This went on for a couple of weeks. Finally, I was called in early Oct. 2018 and told that they were moving and needed to dispose of my spa. He offered to bring it back or trash it in place. We worked out an agreement that he would remit the money I had paid, and to cut my losses and not really knowing the condition of the spa, I told him to trash it. It has now been over two months since we agreed; I have not been able to get him to respond to any form of communication; I have not received the money to which we agreed; and I have found others that have lost over 25 time as much as I. Not a place to do business. In fact, with no answer on Ron's phone of the Business Phone, I would not be surprised if they are out of business owing a good deal of money to a number of people. read more

If YELP would allow negative stars, this place would get several without hesitation. Just found out today that the owner, Ron Hubbard, skipped out a week and a half ago leaving his employees not getting paid. I have been trying for over two months to get service work done and he apparently prevented his employees from providing timely assistance. Went to the store today and found it locked. I was able to talk to an employee who is trying to organize the inventory to sell so they can get paid. There were complaints in the past that even the BBB was duped into believing the owner over customers. No need to heed warnings to avoid this place anymore, it's closed. read more

Just wanted to update my last review. I called the Better Business Bureau and submitted a claim against leisure lifestyle spa and pool in Columbus. They told me there has been 20 + claims against this business and Ron the manager and as of recently 12 or so have been resolved. If you're having issue with this place I suggest going this route it may help you resolve your issues.... read more

Stay away from this place the man that runs this is a liar and a cheat, He took my tub on consignment sold it placed it got paid for it and never gave me my 60% and still hasnt given it to me. For 3 and a 1/2 weeks I have tried to get a hold of this man no return calls no answers on phone texts no answers on messages, he loves to cheat people especially Senior citizens. He lied to me 3 times about 3 different things. I have turned him into the Better Business Bureau and they are looking into it. I had purchased that tub from him for my wife who had cancer, she passed and he used that to pocket extra money On a death, after telling me that he could resell it for me. And don't bother asking his staff about anything because they know nothing, And they will tell you that the man is a one man show and no one knows what he doing. read more

Very Disappointed With Service From Leisure LIfestyles !! Went into their location to schedule a service call on my spa that was purchased from Leisure Lifestyles several years ago. They gladly took my $125 service call fee, put me on the schedule for 3 weeks in the future, and sent me on my way. Silly me, I thought we had an agreement, but Leisure Lifestyles clearly didn't think so. When the appointed day came, my wife took off work and waited for the tech that we just knew was coming. Ha!. When my wife called at 4:00 she found out they were "delayed" and would have to reschedule. OK, we reluctantly agreed to reschedule for the next Friday. Surprise...reschedule Friday came and went without the service call. Two days off, and no service call! UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!!! read more

Paid for a diagnostic. Was told I'd get notification of when the tech would arrive so I could make arrangements to meet him. Instead I get a call from the tech who let himself into my backyard. He tells me that there's no way to diagnose my problem because my filter is so old and needs to be replaced. No way to diagnose means no diagnosis performed right? Shop charged me anyway and refused to refund. Never saw anyone. Never signed anything. Had to dispute with my credit card company. read more

We signed a contract for a pool back in March 2018....We were told: "Your next in line" and it would be June 1. Finally a hole was dug in July and NOTHING else. I can go on and on with what we were kept telling and it was all BS! RUN, don't walk away....Look at all the reviews before buying anything. Many horror stories just like ours. My experience with leisure was fair. My husband and I purchased an above ground pool. We ran into the following issues: UNORGANIZED: we found them to be a bit unorganized when it came to payments and paperwork. I suggest having ALL your info put in writing and hold on to ALL receipts. SCHEDULING/APPTS: we were told a delivery time and not one person showed up and no call was placed to state any problem with delivery. CUSTOMER SERVICE: We found ourselves calling to find out if our parts were in vs someone from the company calling us. Nick, who I think is a salesman (not sure of the last name) was freaking awesome!! He's a real asset to the company! Ron was nice as well! JOB-SITE CLEAN UP: workers came to our hm to perform grading, we were never advised that we would be responsible for the the clean up (removal/disposal of boxes, paper, and ALL of the dirt dug up to level our yard). Overall not a bad company, needs to revamp the daily functioning of the company focusing on customer relations, coordination of scheduling/appointments, possible cross training of all store employees to be knowledgeable of sales and customer accounts. read more

We purchased our in-ground pool in August, 2011 and have to date paid the company over $50,000. We are in dispute with them over a final payment of $500. Which we will pay after they complete the installation. After many delays from the company, the installation was 98% completed in December, 2011. Since December, we have not been able to get them out to complete and finalize the project. The pump system sprung a leak last week and we called Leisure Lifestyles on Friday, June 22 to come out and do a warranty service call. After setting up the service call with the service manager, The Owner called back and left a voice mail message that they were not going to perform any warranty work and on our system they would not honor their warranty. The owner of the company, John Bullard, was rude and obnoxious throughout the entire construction process. Our pool was to be completed no later than 09/30/2012. It was finally completed in December, 2011 and we are still having problems with the construction. The pump leaks, the concrete deck is cracking, and the cleaning system barely works just to mention a few of our problems, there are others. This company is without a doubt the worst company I've ever worked with and would never recommend them to anyone. Never have pool chemicals in stock. Went to get chlorine during pool season they are out for two weeks.the water in our pool turned green waiting on chlorine. This year went to get chemicals to open the pool, guess what they were out. How can you run a pool supply store with no chemicals. read more

DO NOT USE LEISURE LIFESTYLES!! THEY ARE LIARS!! They do terrible terrible work and they do not finish the job. It has been one and a half years and I still do not have a finished working properly pool. It failed many inspections and they still do not have it finished. They will promise you they will finish it by a certain date and they never ever do. There are a lot of pool companies in town please choose one of them I bet they all are better than Leisure Lifestyles. And whatever you do, do not let him con you and say it's up under new ownership or have new contractors because it's bullshit. Ron has come up with every kind of lie and excuse there is of why this pool is not finished. They have terrible service and they do terrible work you will not be happy. If you want to get what you pay for you go somewhere else. They do not have good business ethics for sure. And never pay them up front for anything. Please DO NOT buy anything from this company!! We bought an above ground pool when this company opened a store in Macon 2 years ago. We thought we were getting a sand filter but was delivered a cartridge filter. They said to try it and let them know what we thought. We have had nothing but problems and absolutely no help. This firm overcharged me for what should have been a simple repair on a Hot Springs Spa. Their service rep failed to do what he was asked to to and failed to properly repair my spa. After paying $400 my spa is till inoperable. I removed the service panel myself and discovered an obvious clogged line. Would not recommend using these folks. read more

I bought a pool from Leisure Lifestyles in 2004 and it was the best money I have ever spent on an recreation item. We used our pool for 7 years before moving and had nothing ever come up as a major issue... in fact most of the items that needed attention were minor maintenance items. Leisure Lifestyles always guided us on how to take care of the pool and I found them to be extremely fair in all areas. For the years of enjoyment for my family, I say thank you to Leisure! They were some of the best times my family has ever had! I will soon consider an in ground pool and hope to use Leisure Lifestyles again for that without question. Having a pool doesn't always mean everything about the pool will go perfectly but they were always easy to reach and willing to help us. read more

A joke! But not in a funny way. Customer service is pathetic from Ron the owner and David the salesperson. The customer's satisfaction and correct ordering is the last thing on their minds. Was expecting my hot tub in 3 weeks according to the salesperson. 6 weeks later and they were delivering it, "they" found out that it was the wrong one. They ordered my hot tub incorrectly and blamed the manufacturer for the error. Almost a week later they placed the order for the "correct" one, or so we thought. Another 6 weeks go buy and they finally call us to deliver the correct one. Only to find out that they ordered the wrong one again. The color choice we wanted had been discontinued, but Leisure Lifestyles decided to order the closest color without informing me the customer at all, It was not the color that we were after, but the texture. The one we received is smooth not rough like the one we wanted. It has taken 4 months to get the hot tub and it's still not correct but I've had enough of the incompetence at Leisure Lifestyles. Only one star because I had to rate it at least one! This place is awful! If you are even thinking about using this company or their products run now!!! They are not even registered with the BBB and there is a reason for that because of their reputation! Since I have voiced my complaints on Facebook, Twitter, and other websites, I have heard the same. They will take your money over and over and over. They will continue to charge you for service fees that should be included and you are told are included but obviously are NOT! We have not even had our pool for a year and we have had numerous problems and a new pump already replaced. Even their service guy that replaced it said they are suppose to last at least three years.
