I learned that the former owners let the park degrade because of health issues, and new ownership has taken over. The cabins and campsites are maintained well. Our cabin was recently renovated, and it provided a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The proximity to Lake Hamilton offers breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere that is truly rejuvenating. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and memorable. The community we attended gave us an opportunity to connect with other guests and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. We also had a great time visiting Crater of Diamonds State Park which is about an hour away. Digging for diamonds was an unforgettable an exciting learning experience. We have been trying to reach these people on every number available, and there has been no response to any of our communication.

First, they complained that my kids were outside and should be with an adult at ALL times. Who does that?!? My kids are 13, 8, 7, and 1. The older siblings are outside by themselves at home all the time. We've paid to stay here like ANYONE else! Yet my kids can't play outside!? Next, my dog was on the leash in front of the RV. NOT BARKING, Not bothering anyone. Owner knocks on the door to show me the rules that this can't be. This is the last night we are staying here and NOW it's a problem. There's cats roaming around, even the owners dog has been off the leash! They are being petty because we are a black family. What FILTH !!!

We called at the last minute for a reservation and Wendi made it happen. She's one of the few Park managers that said she'd call us back and actually did since we've been RVing. This park is nestled in the trees with no Mountain View. There's a clubhouse with lots of fans, swings, rocking chairs and a picnic table. Everything is very clean. There's no pool. You can swing, ride a bike or walk. There is a pool table and a puzzle making area and horseshoes that might interest you. The people are very friendly and offer help if you need them. I wish there was a playground for the kids or a pool or something. The laundry room is large and conveniently placed in the shower building. There's a large dumpster for trash. Shower room is clean and decorated. All in all, we've enjoyed our stay. Wendi has been so helpful. We'll be back and we'll tell our friends...and you.

From easy trails to much more challenging trails. This park will not disappoint. Our guide met us at our level and even taught us a few things. We will definitely be going back here next time we're in the area.
