Lemoni Cafe is a cute cafe and restaurant nestled in a sweet spot in the D Mall on Boracay island. Don't be fooled by the small footprint of this little business that's tucked deep inside of the popular D Mall. This little joint features a bakery on the second floor that's used to bake some tasty treats for customers daily. They do take credit cards. I recommend trying out their fresh treats baked daily if you're ever on Boracay. The shop was featured in a Filipino drama I watched awhile back that I can't recall the name of and ironically my girl is ironically obsessed with this place as well. read more

First off they take credit card. That has to be a huge win since so many places on the islands only take cash. You are immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and the local cats sleeping the chairs so make sure to watch where you sit. It is all open air so you get to see the views of D'Mall as people walk around. The table has a massive fresh flower that the staff immediately moves so you can see the people you are with. The first day I got the risotto and it was so good. Generous portion and a great strong latte. They give you fresh lemon water and make sure you have what you need. We had to go a second day and they make a great latte and skashuka. We all had a great time and if we were there would have gone more. read more

Excellent little 100m off the beach find. The venue is in a shopping area surrounded by a clothes shop and a souvenir shop. If you are coming from the beach, Lemon Cafe is located on the right-hand side ... Look for a Giant STEAM PUNK sign if you don't see the entrance. Everything I ate was tasty. The eggs had a nice texture with the cheddar cheese mixed in, the bacon was crispy, and the potatoes were cooked well. Definitely, a place that knows how to American breakfast (: The waitress struggled with English a bit. I had to slow my speaking, but she eventually figured it out. The bill came to 650 pesos which is $12. pretty impressive for everything being so fresh. The wifi is slow, so don't expect to get work done if you came here for that and the outlet for power wasn't working when I came. My hubby and I had been in the Philippines for over a week and I was craving something other than Filipino food (as delicious as it is). For dinner, we scoped out the restaurants at D'Mall in Boracay and decided to eat at Lemon Cafe. It is a brightly colored, open air restaurant, with strategically-placed fans to keep the patrons cool in the hot, humid, tropical weather. I ordered vanilla french toast with mango & banana (breakfast is served all day). My hubby ordered the pasta carbonara dish. My breakfast-for-dinner plate was tasty mostly because of the native Filipino fruit atop the slightly crunchy french toast. This totally satisfied my craving! I had a few bites of the pasta carbonara and that was delicious! It came with soft rosemary focaccia bread too. I definitely recommend this mall cafe for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! read more

While visiting Boracay we found this gem of a café and were instantly delighted. I would have to say lemon cafe offers some of the better food in D'Mall. The ambiance is nice, open and fresh. The colors inside are vibrant making you feel transformed to an island retreat. Although not directly located on the sand, their food does stand out. The service is again, average, nothing spectacular. I was hoping for better considering the ambiance. The food is quite decent; - Pita chips with 3 sauces: well the hummus was nice I certainly enjoyed that, the other 2 not quite so much. - Seared Tuna: light and flakey, or fishy, overall a nicely put together dish. The side of mashed potatoes were a welcome addition to the plating and everything tasted very good. It's wasn't an outstanding meal, but it did nicely. Loved the Boracay beaches and couldn't have asked for a better location for this little spot. read more

My friend and I were dying to try out this cute cafe :) after a very long morning we were able to find the cafe in D'mall. I ordered The mango madness cake as well as the mango shake. I have to say, that mango cake was beyond delicious! It was so creamy and had the right amount of crunch with the cookie pieces. I thought the top of the cake was frosting, but it was real mango pieces shaped as a flower! It was so cute and delicious, I would eat it again. The shake...I felt was a bit over priced. I had better shakes on the island for a cheaper price. Also, my friend and I found the cafe around noon, the hottest time of day, and if there is no fan or breeze from the ocean, it gets painfully hot. Overall, I had a great experience at this cafe, would definitely suggest others to check it out. read more

Let's join them in saving sea life, folks! (If we keep consuming plastic at this rate, there will be more plastic in the sea than fish by 2050 -- The prediction was made by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the World Economic Forum, in a report called The New Plastics Economy, which looks at the amount of plastic that ends up in the sea.) This place is located in the centre of the d-mall. It's not a quiet place, but very good for watching people and the buzzling sourroundings. We ate Breakfast there. The Oat meal with fruits was with too much sugar. The portion was more than enough. My sandwich was ok..But too small. Out healthy detox drinks was nothing special. It was not made of any fresh ingredients as indicated in the Menu- but with lots of juices or syrups. The Place wants to have a healthy Image but the Food they serve there is more than wannabe!!
