The massage was for sinuses- sinus cavities are in the forehead and under eyes by the nose and does drain around the ear and neck. $65 for a 30 minute massage is not a bad price if you get a good one. My forehead was not touched and not a lot on my face. It was my neck and hair. (not actually the head). Customer service needs to be investigated for fraud and theft of service. They sell you gift cards/certificates, steal the money. They never answer their phones to reschedule or cancel appointments, but are quick to take money from gift certificates. The owner does not take accountability for the unprofessional behavior and attitudes of its employees. Yet can respond when there are negative post on social media about the suspect business practices. It's would be somewhat ignored if it was one person complaining, but there are way more people complaining to just ignore. So, find a spa that is well respected and will treat you right. This is one of the worst massages I have ever had. The person that gave me my massage wore rubber gloves. I didn't know it until I was face down on the table. Then it was too late. I complained about it at the end of the massage to the front desk. I told them that they should have disclosed that info before they gave me that masseuse so I could make the choice of whether or not that was acceptable. This is the worst spa I have ever been to. I signed up my mom for the monthly membership and was told that I had to book an appointment within the month and the massages do not roll over. I called with the month to book the appointment and was told that they are booked and even though they can not accommodate me that they would not roll over my massage and I would just be out of my money. It was hard to get someone on the phone. I was told to book weeks in advance like most of their customers. My mom is 65 years old and still works a full till job as painter, one of the best in town may I add, I don't know weeks in advance if she is free. I was trying to do something nice for her and was treated like trash by this company because we arent like most of thier customer base that stays at home and can come during the regular working hours. When told that I wanted to cancel I was told that I will be sued. The membership is a scam and doesnt offer any real benefits. read more

My experience is much like others on here. My gift card was 9 months old. I received it as a GIFT so never looked at the BACK of the card or the itty bitty print on the receipt to see that their policy is 6 month expiration. After looking at consumer protection laws, I believe the 6 month expiration may be illegal. So anyone else who has had this experience, you may want to go to Georgia Consumer Affairs website and file a complaint online. Lousy customer service!!! I called to schedule for a massage with a $100 gift card that was purchased for me and they informed me it was expired and could no longer be used. They have a strict one year policy on all gift cards that all gift cards must be used within the year. I understand this to an extent but the fact that the expiration date was written with something that was completely illegible is what is so upsetting. They were not willing to compensate in any way. I know several people who have had problems with this place. I planned on setting up an appointment with this place for my birthday but I've had so many people warn me not to. 2 months ago I received a gift certificate for Christmas and assumed it was good for a year (as most are). I had been keeping it in the back of mind mind to use it after we moved into our new home, knowing I would need a massage after all the stress. When I called to make that appointment I noticed it expired in June. I was so sure that they would honor it considering it was less than 6 months expired and they are a local business. But unfortunately that is not so. Patty, the manager, said there was nothing she could do. Apparently had it only been a month expired they could have done something but I am not sure why there is a difference. I cant speak to the quality of their services as I did not get the opportunity to experience them. I definitely would *not* recommend getting any kind of gift certificate from them. 2 months ago Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality The manager Patti Whiddon is by far the most unreasonable person I've had to deal with in my history of working with customer service reps. She lacks the basics required to even fulfill the role as a manager in customer service. I was recommended to use a face wash/lotion that gave me an allergic reaction. Patti refused to give me a refund or store credit. She didn't even try to work with me. I contacted the owner and she never responded. Many of my friends/colleagues warned me about this business....now I know. Also, I was a member and I was never offered a robe, membership services etc. when I arrived. Every-time I showed up for my appointment, Patti assumed I was there using a gift card. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone! Also, when I purchased the face wash/lotion...the plastic sticks were not connected to the pumps. Therefore, the products would not come out of the pumps. Patti told me to take some tweezers...find the plastic sticks and connect them to the pumps myself. I have never experienced that type of unprofessionalism. When I arrived Staff at counter did not make me feel comfortable. First the staff member asked was for my credit card. I thought that was a little odd since I had a gift card. When the Therapist called me back it was not who I requested ( Tracy) For the sake of embarrassment I won't mention the name of the Therapist. No one ever explained to me why Tracy was not honoring my request. I did notice that she was there! Very Unprofessional and the Massage I received was rushed and (I've had better). I visited the spa the Friday of Mother's Day weekend. I was gifted a 1.5 hour massage and an anti aging facial. The only positive part of the experience was the wonderful massage Chryon provided. She was very sweet and professional and did a great job! Now on to the negative part.. I was booked for my facial with Michelle, the owner. She comes to the waiting area & says "Christy." Myself and the other lady waiting just sit there. After a few seconds and no response from the other lady, I say "Christina?" To which Michelle replies "yeah whatever. You can follow me" and proceeds down the hall. So we get to a room and she clarifies that I am booked for an anti aging facial. I asked her "what exactly is an anti aging facial?" She responds by saying "it's a series of masks addressing your concerns with your skin." I told her that my only concerns for my face are dryness and fine lines. At this point, she begins with my session by covering my eyes up and wrapping a towel around my hair. I am trying to make small talk so I say "you sure are busy today." She says "yeah, Mother's day. Is that why you are here?" I say in response "Actually this is a gift and this was just your first opening on a Friday." She retorts with "well, you could have picked a better time to come." Well, now it's awkward. I feel her applying cool liquids, steam, etc to my face. At some point, I feel her doing the dermaplaning over my entire face and neck. Ummm...did I ask you to shave my face?? But, once she's started, what am I supposed to do? Stop her so I have a bald spot on my face?! So, again, I try to break the awkward silence by asking her if she had to do that on her face too...remove her peach fuzz..to which she says "yeah, but I don't have as much as you." At last, she says to me "ok you're done." Thank goodness! Well, I rush to go get dressed because the weather was getting bad and I notice that my eyebrows look a little weird. I think.. maybe it's just bad lighting in here. When I got home, one of my boys and my husband were home. They literally say "What did you do to your face? You look like a LEGO man!" I am not joking! Michelle had tinted my eyebrows a dark chocolate brown color WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention that I am blonde and have light brown eyebrows that are not thick but it's the way the good Lord made me?! I called the spa immediately to ask what I could do to get this ridiculousness off my face. Patty the office manager told me that Michelle had already left for the day so she asked another clinician what to do. When I tell you that my eyebrows have never been cleaner in my entire life, I am not lying. I tried peroxide, Dawn, toothpaste, baking soda, micellar water...you name it. The stupid things did not fade at all. Then, that night when I washed my face, I was literally McCauley Culkin in Home Alone when he used the after shave. My face was on fire & I use sensitive soap! I guess since Michelle had taken it upon herself to remove the top layer of my skin when she basically shaved me, the soap was like pouring salt into a wound. The only thing I could put on it to make it stop burning was vaseline. I literally cried because I looked utterly ridiculous with these caterpillar eyebrows and now my face was burning intensely! I stayed home the rest of the weekend because I was so embarrassed by the way I looked! When I went into work on Monday, my coworkers all said "Um.. did you do something to your face??" Not what I wanted to hear but they were just being honest! I thought for sure that the office manager would tell Michelle about how displeased I was with my facial and Michelle would politely call to apologize for her briefly losing her mind and tinting my eyebrows without my permission. As of today, that has never happened! The office manager tried to excuse Michelle's rude and irrational behavior on her stress level. Are you kidding me?? So, you take out your anger on my face?? I was being treated to this massage and facial to try to offset my stress level but instead Michelle increased my stress level 100%. Thankfully, my eyebrows have faded over time. As evident in multiple customer reviews, this establishment exhibits poor customer service in regards to using gift cards. I was given a gift card during my pregnancy 8 months ago and due to pregnancy complications was not allowed to get a massage until after birth. As anyone would be, I was looking forward to the massage and when I took the gift card out of the card it comes in, there was a note saying the date written in sharpie marker is the expiration date. Also, they used the sharpie to write out "expires 1 year from date of purchase" on the back of the card and instead included a note card which read "expires 6 months from the time of purchase". I called about it and still no exceptions. I understand the cliché of everyone having an excuse, but who pulls out the gift card to read the fine print before they're ready to use it? Our appointment time came and went (25 minutes after appointment time)...needless to say our day was kind of thrown off. When I try to check out, the girl checking us out didn't know how to work the register, (adding and subtracting is hard I guess)...it took over 20 minutes just to leave! Was I happy with the massage? I asked for a deep tissue massage...which consisted of her talking through 90% of the hour about what would be making my back hurt. I asked for neck, back and hip work & she literally only massaged my neck. I will never go back. I'm upset that I paid $90 and tipped her. I shouldn't have tipped and should have let her know my thoughts. My husband & I have both gone here. His "skin color" wasn't a problem. If you have to bring race into a non-related race issue then you're just a miserable human being. Some people are only going to be happy when they're complaining. You don't go multiple times to any establishment because it's horrible. It would also be ill-advised to take advice from someone that cannot spell "awful," "their," "relaxing," "steam," "cold," "worn," "disappointing," "too," or know how to use a period. With that being said, my facial and the migraine massage were just great! The deep tissue massage is wonderful (we've had both male and female masseuses, with NO issues). Their waiting room has delicate spa music playing with soft ambient lighting. Even the decor is pleasant to the eye. You receive a comfy robe that looks like it was just laundered and sandals. A co- worker told me about a great service and deal she received here so I called and she was right!!! I have had spots on my face from a tanning bed for about 5-6 years and she gave me a microdermabrasion treatment that left my skin super soft and the spots lighter. I made an appointment & had to go back to my hometown for a family emergency & they CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD anyway. They said they had some bullshit policy of a cancellation fee. (Not one person had ever told me about any cancellation rules) The cancellation fee was a full service payment and when I explained my situation they would not refund the money they STOLE from my card.
