I have visited this establishment 3 times, each time I was the only customer in the store. She took her time on my pedicures, and I tipped her very well each time. I decided as a gift to get my mother a gift certificate in the amount of $50. This past week my mother went to use the certificate, and she told her it was expired. Honoring that, my mother had $45 dollars on her, and the pedicure costed $65 dollars, so she offered to go to the bank to get the remaining $25 dollars. Lena took my mothers phone out of her hand, told her until she came back with the money she could not have her phone. Now keep in mind my mother is an older woman, well dressed, and was very cooperative in understanding the certificate expired. (I myself would not have been). To treat a client that way, I am humiliated for sending my loved one to this woman. When my mother returned from the bank with $25 dollars, and this lady made a total of $115 dollars off of someone, she had the audacity to ask about a tip. When my mother got to the car and looked at her phone, her bank account information was pulled up. Anyone who is familiar with online banking, after a certain amount of time and only a few minutes it times out and asks for your credentials to sign back in, protecting your security. My mothers bank is located about 12 miles from this store. Not only did she humiliate and did her greed get the best of her, but she did something illegal and not justified in any nature. She is turned into the local health department for the cleanliness and sanitization of her tools used. I do hope this establishment is shut down. this was the first time I ever got my nails done and in Pennsylvania since I moved there in 2020. Right before Christmas I was feeling a little insecure. Every time I get my set of gel tips I feel a little sexier a lot more confident know as much as I do love the way the nails came out, I must say they were horrible at their job. When we do our nails at home, the first thing we usually do is cut our cuticles. That is the one thing they did not do when I asked if they did any designs, they said no when I mentioned a French manicure, and said how that usually has a white line and asked if they could do a white line on my nail or even just something as simple as a polkadot they said no and when I asked if I could have a coffin shaped nails, they said they did not do that. Now my nails did come out beautiful aside from the fact that you're not supposed to get them filled in for at least two weeks and five days later one hand looked like it already needed to be filled in where the other one didn't have that big of a space. Had they cut the cuticles where the nail could've laid on the natural nail bed better they might not have grown out so fast. So within the two weeks , they were basically falling off read more

Made an appointment for 4:30 for a pink and white fill. Showed up and they said you only need one color. I said no, I cut them short bad will need both. They said the guy went home that can do both. They only have one guy that can do pink and white when it's listed as a service on their menu for an expensive $45. Thanks for wasting my time, Lena nails. read more

Had an absolutely horrible experience a week ago at a different place. My gels pulled off (with no damage) 2 hours after they were done. Took my 14 year old step daughter and 4 year old daughter here today. The 14 year old frequents Lena's and has been very happy. We called ahead since there were 3 of us without actual appointments. Lena took great care with my nails. I bumped one and she fixed it. She fixed another that she just wasn't happy with. A little paraffin wax to round out the service was just an added bonus in my book. She painted my little girls nails too, made her feel very special. Out of the way for me but I will make an effort to get back to Lena's whenever possible!!! read more

I will preface that I am not one to leave a nasty comment on a local business' page, but I feel it's necessary after the experience my friend and I had last evening. I called on Wednesday evening to make an appointment and was scheduled for 7:00pm for 2 manicure/pedicure with no problem. We walk into the salon at 7:00pm and were immediately told we do not have an appointment as the woman was laughing the entire time she was speaking to us. My friend and I thought she was joking around with us because of her laughing, but 2 minutes went by and we were not acknowledged again. I asked to make sure that she was, in fact, joking about the situation. She said "no, you do not have an appointment and the other lady left at 4:00 because it was her birthday." We were offered to wait another hour until 8:00pm to get our services done, but this was not an option. As this was all happening, the woman was working on 4 different people at the same time with another woman waiting in the waiting area. She was not wearing gloves and she went from one woman's feet to another woman's nails several times. We will most certainly not be back due to the sheer unprofessionalism we had seen in the 5 minutes we were in the salon. read more

The owner is very rude and the salon is dirty. My sister went here and she came home in tears and her nails were bleeding. When asked for a refund and to remove the nails Lena began screaming saying she would not get either. read more

I NEVER write bad reviews but for this place it was necessary. me and my best friend both got full sets of acrylics for our birthdays. The lady working was extremely rude and disrespectful. When we asked her if we could get designs she said no that she didnt have time. She stopped in the middle of my friends nails to do someone's eyebrows and she stopped in the middle of mine to do a PEDICURE!! She drilled too far into the nails on my right hand and I got an INFECTION in my pointer finger nail and lost the entire natural nail. After taking off the terribly done nails (asked for coffin received some nasty squares mishapen, thick, and lumpy) I was missing more than half of most of my nails and they are in terrible shape. Save yourself time and money (she charged us $60 each for full sets one color no designs) and go literally anywhere else. read more

First time getting my nails done. I was a walk-in and was immediately seated.because i have never had them done anywhere else I cannot make a comparison. I was pleased with the service and outcome as well as the final price. I will be going back. For a full set of acrylics I was only charged $33. extremely pleased with the friendly service. read more

the lady was really nice at first (seems to be a trend) and did my eyebrows and did them fine. then it was my friends turn and all she asked her to do was clean them up and arch a little bit and i went to the bathroom while she was getting them done. not even 30 seconds later my friend is pounding on the bathroom door crying because half of her eyebrow is missing. she then proceeded to tell her to lay down so she can do THE SAME THING TO THE OTHER SIDE. after that my friend left and i asked the lady to only charge me for one since she did that. she said fine and we waited outside for an uber. i thought it was over at this point. she then comes outside and freaks the fuck out and says "you lie you lie" i told you to pay and i was literally so confused. moral of the story don't go here 10/10 would not recommend read more

I went to Lena 3 weeks ago to get acrylic nails put on. The polish lasted less than a week and I had to repaint them myself. I had a gift card with money left over after the initial visit so I still went back. I called the day before for a price to make sure. She destroyed my picky so bad it bled and it's been 30 minutes since I left and still burns. She got glue all over another finger and instead of actually fixing nails that were a little loose, she shoved glue down between the tip of my finger and the nail- now my finger is glued to the nails and I'm sure they'll be loose once my finger disconnects. My nails are way too long for my daily activities because she would not cut them shorter so right now they're the same length as the grown out ones I went in with! When I went to leave, she told me it would be $25! She told me $18 on the phone and her sign says $18. She tried justifying it because I had lost a nail at work that morning but when she saw that initially she said "this free for you baby". I told her that and she pretended not to understand and just kept saying $25. She had a regular come in while she was painting my nails and rushed so now my nails aren't smooth at all. I was afraid to say anything because I was already bleeding from her being so rough. Hopefully her treatment of me today and her rushing was enough to keep that regular because I will absolutely never go back and will recommend against anyone else going there. Yeah read more
