Wow curry goat roti was great lots of flavour, only medium so I needed some more spice at $17 it isn't cheap but it's big enough that half will do. What is a roti & doubles place you ask? We saw other places that seemed to be similar with just a different name. We chose this one based on the good rating and also because it was in close proximity to where we were staying. They have a deal of buy 5 doubles get 1 free, so we did that. We ordered them with chana aloo in them- a sweet chickpea curry with a little sweetness to it. Quite perfectly hit the spot. So what is a double, its 2 rotis with some filling in between, a roti sandwich essentially. Will definitely keep this place on the list for future visits. read more

Standard Roti. Size was comparable to other Roti places. There was an option to add extra toppings. 2 toppings Roti was $9.99. There were different level of spices. I truly believe I can handle spicy foods, but I don't play with Caribbean scotch bonnet pepper sauce so I ended up getting medium. The kick was just enough for a few sweat beads to start rolling, but not overwhelming to the point where I'm in tears. I placed an order for a veggie platter, ordered seim, didn't get any, instead got 2 portions of baigan choka without them asking me. Tbh the platter is lacking. I also ordered a dhalpuri and bone curry chicken. The dhalpuri was poor a little thick, not sure who made it. The curry chicken was days old, they did not cook this food today, the meat was hard and stale and disgusting. Again not pleased with this place. I swear, the Caribbean girl in me cries out when I eat doubles... I love everything about doubles, the doughy texture, the spicy chickpeas inside, that spicy sauce that you pour all over it... it's so satisfying and one is never enough. During one of the many event for a Hindu wedding, we order 50 doubles to munch on (since theses events have to be vegetarian meals) and doubles were such a crowd pleaser. The service from Kish was nothing but a pleasure but also the food, I cannot say enough about it. We ended up ordering Dhal roti and channa/aloo with hot sauce (hot as hell). It was so good, we ended up ordering more rotis with the squash combination. The squash is actually made fresh with all ingredients from Trinidad. I have had many Jamaica rotis in my time but nothing compares to Lena's Roti. It's very rare to find phenomenal service, amazing food at a reasonable price and all made fresh. Now this is good food. This was a skip the dishes order and the food was delivered hot. I ordered the basic staples such as doubles, Aloo pie, pholourie and a boneless goat roti. I also ordered two solo drinks, currants roll and Kurma to try. The pictures speak for themselves when showing you quality food. There's no filler... like a ridiculous amount of potato for the curry goat, what you get is honest and delicious food. They didn't forget a single item from our order, they sent us napkins and cutlery. This location is definitely raising the bar for quality food delivered right to your door from skip the dishes. Do not hesitate to try their boneless goat roti because the flavors were outstanding. This is my go-to when I'm craving home cooked, flavorful food from the islands. I called Lena's, spoke to a couple of staff there. They expected me to drive there and pick up the Callaloo and salad at my own expense. Rotten, insensitive, insincere and selfish people.
