My wife and I had a great experience and with Chelsea furnitures professionalism. We where shopping around for an entertainment center and nothing really fit our needs. One of our close friends refereed us to Lew and spoke really highly about him. He had recently finish remodeling there kitchen cabinets and they were super happy with his work. Lew watches over every step of the process, from initial conversations, planning, design, carpentry, installation, follow-up, and any additional questions later if you have them - like I did. His expertise was invaluable and he knew more about the intricacies of the installation than the contractor. Lew even helped with valuable tips to the electrician and plumber -- going way beyond what would be expected by a typical furniture design specialist. Let me say that Lew is the BEST! He came and spent over an hour the first time for the estimate, and brought photos and samples of his cabinetry. I was impressed from the start with the quality of his workmanship and with his friendly and easy manner. But the bonus was his ability to help plan the kitchen design. It's a small galley kitchen, but Lew found the most creative way to use the space. He thought of ideas that no one else came up with. Three generations of cabinet makers - no wonder the work is so good. Beyond that, he and his crew showed up on time, did great work, were so sweet and cleaned up after they worked. My cabinets are BEAUTIFUL! One of his guys spent after hours building a leveled spice jar insert to fit the drawer, and it's perfect. Basically I got custom cabinets at a reasonable price. And a word about Lew - the nicest guy to work with. He helped me with the other workers, plumbers, electricians, etc. and acted on my behalf when problems came up even though he was not paid as a general contractor. I cannot recommend Lew highly enough! Lew comes from a family of skilled carpenters, and he is foremost a true professional. Not only did he design our beautiful kitchen and bathroom cabinets (more on those later), he remained invested in our overall remodeling project from the start to finish. Lew truly helped us every step of the way, from picking out the proper flooring, paint colors, to tiling in the bathroom and our overall new kitchen design. On countless occasions, he came with us to different vendors to help with the selection and offer his unique guidance. With Lew, you definitely get more than just cabinets, and we remained amazed at how much he cared about his work and our project. As for the cabinets, we cannot be happier! They are simply perfect, and everyone who comes into our house is amazed at them. The cabinets, more than perhaps anything else, really transformed our home.
