We walked in to just get a coffee, but were told that these almond croissants had JUST, and I mean JUST come out of the oven, and were ready to be bought. So you know we had to... and they were ooey, gooey, everything you could wish for in a pastry. The counters and seating area, while small and quaint, was so cute as well. They always have yummy seasonal drinks, and even though they are on the more expensive side, they use quality ingredients, which to me makes up for it.

I stood in line and patiently waited until I got to the front. When I did, I was rewarded with possibly THE GREATEST SALTED PRETZEL OF MY LIFE. The only other one I can think of that comes close is Miller's Twist in Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. This pretzel was literally fresh out of the oven. The lady took the little pans/trays out of the oven, put the pretzel on the rack for like 10 seconds, and then boxed it up and handed it over to me. Damn near burned my hand by trying to take it out to take a picture lol. One bite in, and I knew this was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. It was salty, buttery, chewy, crispy. A perfect soft pretzel. I definitely should have bought more than one. By themselves, I could have probably ate 5-6 of them, no joke. This thing was perfect! They had 4 different cinnamon rolls to choose from. I decided to try a classic roll with cream cheese icing. There is no seating available, so we walked to Washington Park to eat there. The people in front of us ordered the iced Spanish latte, and it looked delicious. The cinnamon roll was soft and gooey in the best way. The icing didn't have as much of a cream cheese flavor as I expected, but it was still tasty. I would like to return and try one of their specialty flavors.
