What a adorable little place in downtown Milford! They had live music outside to attract customers, which is a fun idea. There were a lot of customers in and out but the staff seemed to keep everything moving and there wasn't much of a wait for our lunches. After we placed our orders at the counter, we walked around the cute shop while we waited for our food to be ready. They have a big selection of specialty foods, most I have never seen in other stores. The prices on those packaged food seemed really high, but I don't have anything to compare them to so maybe that's what they cost elsewhere? We took our food to go and everything was fresh and tasty. I had a tartine with ricotta, dates, honey, and walnuts which was good and the pesto pasta salad which was even better. My husband commented that the tomato on his BLT actually tasted like a tomato, which isn't always the case this time of year. We hope to go back soon and try some of their other offerings. read more

I was very impressed with Harvest Market. They are nestled in the strip of all the amazingness that Old Milford has to offer. They do daily lunch specials Tuesday - Friday that look amazing, so this is what brought me in. The store is large, bright and airy. It makes you feel healthy just entering the space. Out front and around the side of the building are many nice outdoor tables. There is only 1 or 2 tables inside right now due to covid restrictions. They have some healthy grocery items, a cooler full of healthy frozen or refrigerated items, and a TON of craft drinks/beer! There is a smoothie bar for bowls or drinks. I started with a breakfast smoothie and the ricotta tartan. I grabbed their lunch special of the day, the cobb salad, for later. Everything was amazingly fresh and delicious. I could eat these exact same things each day and be happy! If you are in a hurry it is best to call your order in ahead of time. I ordered in person and everything was ready in about 20 mins. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are also very efficient for how busy the place is. The patrons here are also very neighborly. There is ample free street parking, or even more in the adjacent lot. Harvest Market proves healthy can taste amazing and not be super expensive! read more

I'm considering a part time job at Harvest Market, that's how much I love it. I stumbled upon their page on social media while learning the Milford area. I was excited to see their açaí bowls on the menu. When we went in the shop, my excitement escalated! Everything inside Harvest Market makes me giddy. Loads of local items from coffee shops, bagel shops, bakeries, canned seltzer waters... the best part, CBD galore! A small CBD snack always lifts my mood. I was excited to try a CBD chocolate chip cookie from a Newport bakery. Delicious! Two cookies at 25mg. Only took one to brighten my attitude ;) While perusing, the shop owner chatted with us about his goal for the store and providing people with healthy local options such as smoothies, gluten free chicken tenders, lattes, bagel sandwiches and more. I stopped by Harvest Market this afternoon based on Yelp reviews. (Isn't that the purpose?!) There is a PUBLIC PARKING lot next to the building. It is newly paved and maybe has 40 spaces. There is a side door to Harvest Market for easy access from the parking lot. I strolled in and was immediately greeted by the gal behind the counter. She asked if this was my first time there and I told her, "yes." She gave me a quick overview of what is available, including the Kambucha bar. I took a walk over to the front area by the meat freezer and was soon greeted by Maureen. She and her husband, Ben, own the building and live above the store. She explained their retail concept: SOURCED LOCALLY and gave me a mini tour of a few (locally sourced) items within arm's reach. We shared some "did you knows" with each other...which is something that I have never done at any mainstream grocery stores! I like the idea of having this business in Milford. Oh! I forgot to mention, Maureen is from MILFORD. So, "bonus points" are given for staying loyal to the community. Maureen added, before I left with my locally sourced purchase, that they make breakfast burritos on SATURDAY morning and bring in a specialty bread for their bread bins, too. I will give them a 5-star rating once they streamline their focus. They are still sorting out "what will work"...but I think they are on the cusp. I think it was fate that I parked unknowingly right across the street from Harvest Market. I walked in and it was like a fairy-tale for me (I'll preface, I don't think everybody would be as excited about a health food store as I would be...). Harvest Market has all that I could ask for. Okay, maybe a little exaggerated, but not much! This is a natural food store that sticks to the healthiest and most natural products. They had fresh local vegetables, cheeses, vegan cheeses, Snowville Creamery milk, a full coffee bar, local gelato, breads, pastas, soaps... You get it. They have a lot. Honestly, to grasp it all you will just have to stop in! The owners were both in and they were so pleasant! Ben was very kind, offering samples of their strawberry-banana "ice cream", and the kombucha that they have on tap. He was telling me that they cater to all sorts of dietary needs, whether it is gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, or paleo. They had local vegan treats made, and Ben mentioned that they could make a "float" out of the gelato and kombucha! This is a must try for the next time I venture in. read more

I sent my husband here after seeing their open faced blt special on Facebook. He got there just as the kitchen was closing (we didn't realise) and they still made it for him since it was basically cold prep. He walked around and picked up a few other items, like their hummus which was amazing. Had the sandwich waiting at home for me when I got off work. I am being 100% honest when I say that was one of the best BLT's of my life. Later that night I was still thinking about it. I will definitely be going there soon to check it out for myself! So, when I find a place that has smoothies (like, real food smoothies) kombucha (freaking ON TAP) coffee, sandwiches, snacks, baked goodies...and basically things that are not made from crap (in this case crap=things that are not good for your body, and chemically laden and processed beyond what you could ever imagine). I mean don't get me wrong I've had my share of crap that I've eaten/put in my body....BUT my body feels so much better when I don't feed it crap! Such a gem to have in Milford. We try to stop in at least weekly to see what kombucha they have on tap or to grab some food. They typically have wraps, fresh made sandwiches, smoothie bowls, and a homemade kettle of soup in addition to 2 types of kombucha on tap. My girlfriend and I have quietly become coffee junkies and stumbled upon something more from historic Milfords business district on main st. Harvest Market has both coffee and food. This isn't an unusual thing .. what is endearing is the atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful in finding what we wanted without the usual Starbucks stress. Relaxed and inviting! Home grown products from local vendors abound. The coffee selection is quite nice as is the option for other kitchen wants such as tea, or smoothie bowls for a snack. We happened into the store for a take out Sunday brunch, and picked up gourmet breakfast burritos, which they offered packed with local veggies, farm eggs, sweet potatoes and optional bacon. They were gourmet, and very good. A full coffee bar, and healthy Smoothie station rounded out our choices and more. We dined sitting on the benches in front of the store.
