BLT was well proportioned and surprisingly the tomato was surprisingly tasty for this time of year. Bonus points for the bread

Great place we grabbed some sandwich's for a carry out lunch. Interesting items and tasty sandwiches. First tin in and impressed with the beer selection. Fun local place with live jazz music in a Saturday. Can't wait to come back and try another lunch

I've been routinely coming here after going to that "other coffee shop" down the street and being disappointed. Espresso is on point. Cordato and cordatido are served in a 4oz cup like it should be. Please give these people your money and avoid that other place down the street. It's not nearly as good.

This is one of my go-to places when I am in Milford! So so good. Lots of gluten-free and vegan options which are hard to find when you need both. Everyone is super friendly and willing to answer questions. It's a cozy little spot with indoor and outdoor seating, lots of light, and local art to browse and purchase. Always worth stopping by!

I was very impressed with Harvest Market. They are nestled in the strip of all the amazingness that Old Milford has to offer. They do daily lunch specials Tuesday - Friday that look amazing, so this is what brought me in. The store is large, bright and airy. It makes you feel healthy just entering the space. Out front and around the side of the building are many nice outdoor tables. There is only 1 or 2 tables inside right now due to covid restrictions. They have some healthy grocery items, a cooler full of healthy frozen or refrigerated items, and a TON of craft drinks/beer! There is a smoothie bar for bowls or drinks. I started with a breakfast smoothie and the ricotta tartan. I grabbed their lunch special of the day, the cobb salad, for later. Everything was amazingly fresh and delicious. I could eat these exact same things each day and be happy! If you are in a hurry it is best to call your order in ahead of time. I ordered in person and everything was ready in about 20 mins. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are also very efficient for how busy the place is. The patrons here are also very neighborly. There is ample free street parking, or even more in the adjacent lot. Harvest Market proves healthy can taste amazing and not be super expensive!

Cutest little shop! They have various baked goods, fresh produce, maple syrup, honey, various goods, beverages, fun crafty and gift type items along with a menu for breakfast and lunch with smoothies, protein bowels and wraps! I snagged a couple baked goods for myself, but you bet that I'll be back! In old Milford with a parking lot right next to it.

One of the highlights of my week is checking this rotating menu. I find so many vegan dinner options here as well as gluten free. It's very clean, the staff is very nice, and the food is always amazing. Very healthy spot to go with a great environment.

I stopped by Harvest Market this afternoon based on Yelp reviews. (Isn't that the purpose?!) There is a PUBLIC PARKING lot next to the building. It is newly paved and maybe has 40 spaces. There is a side door to Harvest Market for easy access from the parking lot. I strolled in and was immediately greeted by the gal behind the counter. She asked if this was my first time there and I told her, "yes." She gave me a quick overview of what is available, including the Kambucha bar. I took a walk over to the front area by the meat freezer and was soon greeted by Maureen. She and her husband, Ben, own the building and live above the store. She explained their retail concept: SOURCED LOCALLY and gave me a mini tour of a few (locally sourced) items within arm's reach. We shared some "did you knows" with each other...which is something that I have never done at any mainstream grocery stores! I like the idea of having this business in Milford. Oh! I forgot to mention, Maureen is from MILFORD. So, "bonus points" are given for staying loyal to the community. Maureen added, before I left with my locally sourced purchase, that they make breakfast burritos on SATURDAY morning and bring in a specialty bread for their bread bins, too. I will give them a 5-star rating once they streamline their focus. They are still sorting out "what will work"...but I think they are on the cusp. Overall, I am looking forward to supporting this business.

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

We stopped by after a visit to the Newtown Candy shop. We took some lobster roll kits and clam chowder home. They pride themselves on fresh seafood regularly flown in from around the world. Their pricing is double Jungle Jims and triple kroger. Can't say good or bad until we try the fresh fish. For example they have many types of Salmon from around the globe. $49.99 for Sea Bass is pricey for me. I think Halibut was $39.99 a pound and the salmon was $20-$30 a pound. They also make their own sides. The clam chowder had too many potatoes. On Friday and Saturday nights they cook a few meals out back in a small tent/room. Main items are Lobster Rolls and Fish n chips.

And a find it truly was; the ONLY negative I can think of about this store is its location, tucked away in the excessive sprawl of a huge suburban shopping complex. I would never have known about it if a friend hadn't told me, and SO glad she did. Hopefully others will find it too thru Yelp. I am a snob for quality olive oils and balsamic, as there truly is a difference between brands and sources! Here in Ohio it's been either Jungle Jim or Country Fresh when in quest of the kind of quality I'd been accustomed to find easily in New York. The tremendous selection of oils, including a huge variety of those infused with natural flavorings, made Spicy Olive a heaven on earth for me. The balsamics, too, available in white or regular, have an array of flavorings I'd never dreamed of. Black Cherry! For a home made vinaigrette worthy of a five star restaurant. Dark Chocolate! I was astounded at how delicious were strawberries dipped in this stuff, not to mention the fat and calories avoided by dipping in chocolate balsamic instead of melted chocolate. Each variety (and there are SCORES .. Will try to count them on my next visit) has a cards with suggestions on pairings, general uses, and some basic recipes. As Kara said, the staff knows their stuff and will answer any and all questions. You can taste as many as you like and there is no hard sale pressure to buy. You won't need any though! Three sizes of bottles are available which are filled for you directly from the urns (There is a technical name for these containers, which escapes me at present). For high-quality, fresh imported product, the prices are definitely fair, certainly no more than I would expect to pay at one of the above-mentioned stores. If you are torn, they have a great option of six mini bottles for $30, mix and match vinegars and/or oils. For two bucks more you can have your choices gift boxed. (HINT HINT). We went with the six bottle sampler on our first visit as I simply could not decide. I've used at least one of them every day, in salads, sautéed vegetables, roasting, bread and fruit dipping, soup seasoning..... I can see a store like this downtown.... Or in Brooklyn. So thrilled to find this in West Chester! Put this one on your list, after you experience it you won't be buying your olio e balsamico anywhere else.
