There was a bit of wait as they said they were short staffed, which we didn't mind at all. Dr.Nutting was rude and yelled at my husband at the start of visit for expressing his concern about our child's cough during a wellness visit. We were caught off guard by the rudeness! The nurse later said it's because he'd seen a rude patient before us but that doesn't justify this type of behavior. We have seen so many doctors in the past and never experienced such poor bedside manners. The visit and exam itself was fine but still in shock over his reaction. Definitely NOT coming back, never recommending anyone to come here.

I called the office 5 minutes before they shut the phone line down (which is 30 minutes before the office is even closed). Dolores answered the phone and asked me to hold. I was on hold for 8 minutes before I was transferred to voicemail because she did not want help me. The office called me back a few minutes later let it ring once and hung up. I called the following day to let them know I didn't appreciate how that was handled and found out that Dolores is the office manager. My info was given to another office manager Julia and was told I would be given a call. She never called me back. I called the following day and was immediately sent to Julia's voicemail. The lack of concern or even interest from the office managers about how their staff run the office or treat people is ridiculous. These two ladies, Dolores and Julia, are the office managers and they don't care about how they treat or handle issues. Your questions or concerns about your child's health are not important to them, especially if you call at the end of the day. They don't care.

The wait time varied on how busy they are but you are able to get on a wait list before coming in which can speed up the process. The staff is very friendly and helpful. No imaging... it was like a 5 minute office visit literally in and out. They're in-network and charged my insurance over $600 for it, yikes. We paid our copay in office. Then we got a bill for $200 in the mail? With absolutely zero explanation of what the charge was for. How much are they trying to make off this? We usually use MDSTAT in EDH and they've never sent us an extra bill. Anyway, I figured it was a mistake and waited for them to clear it up with insurance. They sent it straight to collections like 2 months later. When I tried to call their billing office, no answer, I left a voice mail and they never got back to me. I just paid it to get it over with but 100% will never go back here. I've never had a medical or dental office send a bill to collections, ever, let alone so fast without trying to clear it up with me first. And truly can't believe they charged that much for such a simple procedure. I still don't know what the $200 charge was for considering they're in network and we paid our copay. Oh well, we'll stick with MDSTAT.

He has a superb reputation in our community and is in high demand, yet we never feel rushed during our visits. He feels like part of the family. One of my boys has chronic problems due to a birth defect and Dr. O'Malley always makes great judgement calls on specialty referrals and diagnostic testing. When our insurance changed we elected to pay for a more expensive plan so we could continue with Dr. O'Malley. In our book he is truly the best! Another reviewer gave Dr. O'Malley one star for a bad experience with a receptionist and they had never even been a patient -- very unfair! All of his reviews have been FIVE STAR, on Yelp and elsewhere.

I truly appreciate that Dr. Avala took our concerns about our baby's head shape and quickly made a referral for that. The baby well check up was very much informative.
