Just picked up my new pair of distance eyeglasses from LensCrafters at Mall of Louisiana. Super friendly staff. Fitted the glasses well for me. I had gotten the eye exam on site with the contracted optometrist before the glasses were ordered. I don't remember the name of the optometrist but she was super efficient and very thorough. I got my glasses from this company years ago but my boyfriend needed some and needed them in a pinch. We came here after he got his eyes checked and we went in to get the glasses. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and were told about the promos. My boyfriend found a pair for a great price and they made the glasses for him within the hour and did so for no extra charge just as I remembered. I love this company I have never had a bad experience here and it has continued with this store. I didn't realize until I tried to read a book or work on my computer that the progression didn't work at all. I spent a lot of money because it was the end of the year. This is probably the best place for eye exams and glasses, in Baton Rouge (IMO). I've been able to schedule next day appointments and choose my frames the same day + get the order in. My glasses always have to be sent out to their off-site lab to be completed. Their on-site lab only works on glasses that don't need special anti-reflective coatings and/or high-index lenses. I always need both on my lenses. So, if you're in need of a rush job for glasses and don't need any special lenses, they can do them in an hour or same day. The opticians there are always super helpful and will make sure glasses fit you. I have the worst vision, so my lenses are super thick. Jerry (I think that was his name) was the optician that helped me recently and of the frames I picked out, he told me which ones would be the best frames for my lenses. I've also be there a couple other times for my daughter and husband and Jason helped them out with glasses and he, too, was wonderful! Thank you to the Lens Crafters team & the optometry team for your great work. BTW, if you need contacts, you need to make an appt with the optometry team (on-site) and they will get you fitted for contacts + you can get your eyeglasses script from them, too! read more

Got in, got out...with a great pair of affordable glasses! This LensCrafters is located in the mall. All of the sales associates were friendly and helpful. I picked out a pair of glasses that were in my budget range (they had a multitude of sales), and left an hour later with a brand new pair of glasses for $100. It was really nice to be able to get these glasses, on the same day as I ordered without an extra charge. I don't normally wear glasses, despite owning contacts for years. But LensCrafters made it really easy for me to get what I needed at an affordable price! I would highly recommend with no reservations. I was very impressed with my last visit to Capital Eyes in Lens Crafters. I recently switched from another optometrist because of bad service so I was a little nervous to come to a new place. The staff was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. The Dr kept me informed of everything she was doing and explaining why she was doing it. Instead of getting my eyes dilated I got the digital retina exam and she looked that over with me and educated me on different parts and what they do. It was truly a one of a kind experience. Didn't even get a complete eye exam. Didn't dilate my eyes to get a full exam. Didn't ask my history to see if dilation was even necessary. I suffer with migraines that affect my vision and was told by a neurologist that it was important to monitor my eye health. The dr talked so fast half the time I couldn't understand her and couldn't find time to ask questions. Now I have to wait a year to get a real eye exam. read more

I ordered new glasses on Aug 1, 2020. I was told it would take approx 2 weeks for them to come in. On the 18th, I called looking for my order and they told me their lab had sent them to the wrong store approx 60 miles away ! Supposedly, they were being sent from that store to this one and should have been here today. They never called me so I called them. At first, nobody seemed to know anything about my order then they found someone. He said they didn't show up today so he put me on hold and called the other store to get a tracking number. Several minutes later he came back on and told me my glasses had to be sent back to the lab because one of the lenses didn't pass inspection and it would be at least another week. I hung up on him, called my credit card company and insurance company and cancelled the $900 order. Don't waste your time with these idiots !! read more

My husband got his glasses elsewhere but the fit was horrible! We went to LensCrafters looking to get another pair and Stephanie assisted us. She knew right away his glasses were not properly fitted and she took the time to work on the frame and give him a perfect fit!! She was extremely knowledgeable and very committed to delivering a great customer experience! When we need glasses next year, LensCrafters is where we will go!
