Went here today with my mother for an updated eye exam and new glasses! Located on the upstairs floor across from the yogurt place near Macys. We were greeted and taken right away. They have several types of eye exams, my mother and I got the additional retinol exam which was $39.99 extra. They had lots of frames to choose from designer and regular. My mom got some Coach frames and I got Michael Kors. I even got to get my new prescription ordered for my old Marc Jacob's glasses too! The first time I came here a couple years ago, I had a pleasant experience. I was in and out in less than an hour. However, this time around I was not so fortunate. During a Buffalo windstorm my glasses had a fatality and I couldn't see. I had an appointment at 12:40pm for an eye exam a couple days later. I expressed to everyone I came in contact with I had to be somewhere at 2:30pm and could not be late. That didn't really seem to matter since I left at 2:15pm without a pair of glasses and was told that my glasses wouldn't be ready for 10-12 days. I picked out two frames and told them I would have to return later. I came back around 4:00pm expecting things would be ready by then when I was hit with another bombshell, the glasses I spent forever picking out would not fit my prescription. Ok...then WHY THE HECK DID U LET ME PICK THOSE OUT. Response: I didn't know. INCOMPETENCE. So I pick another set of frames and I'm told they can put a temporary pair of plastic lenses in a frame until the glass ones come in. I picked the frame I wanted the temps in, went to dinner, had a beer, and expected stupidly for things to be straight for me to pick up. WRONGO. I tried on the temps, wrong frame and better yet wrong prescription. I put on the glasses and I told the worker I couldn't see and these gave me tunnel vision. He told me I just had to get used to the new prescription. I told him no I didn't and that something was wrong. 15 minutes later he nonchalantly rolls up and says "Oh I know why you can't see, we put the wrong prescription in." WHAT?!? Why does he even work here. At this point it's around 6:00pm and he tells me to come back in an hour. I told him I couldn't and they had better be ready tomorrow. Fast forward to this morning, because I had already missed enough school and work and needed to eventually see. They have my glasses ready (surprisingly). The worker helping me was a manager and did not seem to care or is unaware of human emotions to realize I was unhappy, even after I voiced this to him. I told him to cancel my contact lens fitting and refund my money for it. He did so, very complacently, not really caring he lost a sale. I asked if there was a different manager I could speak to, he told me sure. Then I asked to speak with him/her he then tells me no one is here but him. Really? I told him to have the GM call me. That still hasn't happened yet. I will NEVER be going to a Lenscrafters again because the experience was that bad. Plus they were so unapologetic nor did they care I COULDN'T SEE. read more

Booked my annual eye exam here for two reasons. 1: They accept my insurance for Vision 2: I wasn't entirely happy with my previous doctor 3: They have Sunday hours Making an appointment is super easy, done through the website with text message reminders and confirmations they really couldn't make it any easier. I arrived a few minutes early and was warmly greeted at the front desk and my information was taken I spent some time with an optician and then the DR came in to finish the exam, both were friendly and guided me through the process efficiently. They were very thorough and answered my questions, weren't pushy for lenses or glasses and completely understood when I told them I had significantly cheaper pricing online. After being informed about what to me is an oddity, namely needing a prescription from an eye doctor to get lenses, things went smoothly, professionally, and reasonably priced. What I needed was just some optical lenses for my sunglasses. Where I'm from, you just go to an optician, get your eyes triangulated (or whatever the technical term is), wait an hour for the lenses and get out. Here it takes a tad longer as you first meet an optician who figures how screwed up the lenses in your eyes are, and the you meet the doctor for some playtime to figure what lenses you need. Final price is pretty much the same, but I'm home in Switzerland where everything is hilariously expensive (i.e. Big Mac, Coke, and fries = 14$), so dunno how competitive the prices actually are. read more

This place is like a bunch of used car salesman. They throw so many options at you that you have no idea what you really need or how much it costs. Then they do insurance prices, coupon offers, discounts and they make it so confusing you don't know how bad their screwing you until you get charged a fortune for your glasses. The last time my prescription was wrong and I went back several times and all they did was keep adjusting the glasses. They would not correct the prescription. I will never go back to these double talking do nothing people. BEWARE! read more

I recently went here to have a routine eye exam and get new glasses and Rx sunglasses. I'm a big Oakley fan and my Rx is hard to fill in the sunglasses due to the curvature of the lens. I went on Thursday and on Friday when i picked up my regular glasses i was informed that i couldn't get the sun-glass frames i had wanted, Bernadette was so helpful she pulled out the Oakley catalog of sunglasses and helped me pick a new pair. i will never go anywhere else but LensCrafters . read more

If i could put one star i would do it. I have waited more time in my life at this location than at the DMV. It all started because i got a pair of glasses two weeks ago. When the were shipped in they were very blurry. I told the person this and they said give them a shot, if they do not get better then come back. Fine, i did just that. They were still blurry so I called to see if i could bring them back. The guy that i spoke with on the phone told me "these are exact electronically calculated prescriptions there is no way they could be wrong". LIKE I WAS LYING TO HIM ABOUT MY VISION BEING BLURRY. He told me come in and someone would take a look at them. I brought them back a day later and Linda took great care of me (after the person at the counter made me wait at the counter for 15 minutes) . She is the only good thing that this location has going for them. Once it was determined what was wrong they sent out for new lenses. They came in and i came to pick them up a couple days later. They told me "they will be ready in 30 minutes"....Well 45 minutes later they were still not done and now i will have to return YET AGAIN. It seems like every single time i go to this store i get greeted by someone who seems less and less interested in their job every time i see them there. Then they make you wait around for years! It does not matter if you are getting your entire family fitted for frames or you are just going in for a simple adjustment. YOU WILL WAIT THERE THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME. I swear i must have did something horrendous in a previous life that god thought it would be a good idea to punish me by giving me poor eye sight and making me wait around at Lenscrafters for days on end. Why do i go back? Because i only go to the eye Dr. once a year and i always think to myself "hey maybe they finally got it together". NOT THIS TIME. You have lost a life long customer and i would rather drive 12 hours in a car then spend another second of my life sitting in this stinking store. read more

i gave one star because its the lowest i could give do not get glasses from lenscrafters i do not suggest them at all the first time i got glasses from them the prescription was wrong so i ended up returning them so i figured i would give them a second chance this time i got glasses i was told they would be ready in seven days it has now been 10 days and yes 10 business days i spent over $300 and still no glasses it's ridiculous never again will i buy glasses from lenscrafters when i do finally get them whenever that might be they better hope that the prescriptions right because if not they're going to get a major ear full. *update*. said they would be in the 28th nope not and they have no excuse as to why now been 16 days they did give me $25 whole dollars back not enough on the count that i spent well over $300 but i guess it's better than nothing i'm willing to bet they won't be in until monday the 1st never again ill go to walmart next time cheaper and ill get them in a week if you have a high rx do not get your glasses here. update they offered to make me temporary lenses and they did after well over a month they re ordered the lenses about a week past a month they finally came in (the 1st pair) and they did not pass inspection so i still could not get them then about maybe a week after that the 2nd pair came in and those were fine so after well over a month i finally got my glasses with only a sorry and $25 whole dollars when i spent $300 never in my life will i get glasses from them again and still i dont know why they took so long my guess is someone lost the order at the lab and lied that they were made which would explain why the lab could not produce a tracking number so when they either found the order or had it re sent they rushed to have them made and fu@) ed them up not happy at all especially since i got basically nothing but a sorry and $25 which in my opinion is nothing and i was told the temporary lenses were a few $100 ummm so thats not my problem because i got temporary lenses and $25 frigging dollars is suppose to make up for the fact that i had to wait well over a month um hell no what would make me happy half my money back read more
