Terrible customer service....,First I was quoted one hour then the next thing I know it was 3-4 hrs, because they were so called backed up. Walked around the mall for an hour and a half, then decided to just go sit and wait. While sitting there waiting for another 2 hours, I saw the staff quote and tell other customers to come back in an hour, at which when they came back their glasses were ready. I quickly concluded that they kept pushing my order back to fill the other ones. Luckily I get to choose where to spend my money, and I will never patronize this location again. Very bad management who just stands around all day and the sales people just chit chat. If you want a professional location and your glasses filled in a timely manner go somewhere else!! read more

These sales ladies are RUDE! I asked if they took VSP, they stated they did. I showed them what my VSP insurance would cover. They told me I'd have to wait so they could "check on it." They took people who came after me, only to finally realize I wasn't leaving. When it came to "checking on it," they refused to even enter the info. There was a blonde lady who was very condescending, and even when I kept showing her the coverage, she argued. Had she simply made a call (like I did) they would have made a sale for glasses. read more

I am absolutely disgusted! Drove one hour for my appointment filled out my paperwork and 40 minutes later they tell me I'm not eligible. I show them my last exam was in June a year ago and then the girl sneakingly tells me they aren't in network with my insurance. I work in the health industry and we definitely notify my patients before hand. I am so disgusted! read more

Overall the people working were super nice minus their side conversations that everyone can hear. The doctor was very helpful and straight to the point on the exam. I bought glasses from here so this year was contacts. I wish the waiting area was bigger and more comfortable for the people who have to wait. I am glad I got there early I was seeing the doctor within 15mins of my appointment. I did get contacts and they have it where they can send them to your home. They have a good policy where if you are I satisfied with service or products you can return free of charge within 30 days. Good to know. read more

** PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING !! ** Dr. Mikhail is one of the BEST doctors I have ever seen, he is kind, knowledgeable, and patiently examples everything to his patients. LensCrafters the store-- HORRIBLE! I was there two weeks prior found my favorite frames and took photos of the the reference number - price - UPC code. After my appointment with the doctor I proceeded to the store. With regrets, I was greeted by Pamela. Whom seemed rushed and trying to get business from everyone that walked in front of her. I sat down explained what I wanted, showed her photos of the frame and the information on them. She told me she could not pull up the color of the temple of the frame, but assured me that it was the same color and model I wanted. About a week and a few days later I get a text stating my glasses are ready to pick up. Curiously I went online to see them before I picked them up (recommend you do the same). They were the wrong frames. I called the following morning spoke with Lillian. She confirmed they were in fact the wrong frame, and told me she could order the right ones - this will take another 7-14 days. I asked to speak to the manager after waiting for 6 minutes he got on the phone and was very rude. NEVER APOLOGIZED, said it was a mistake and it will be there in 7-14 days. PERIOD. When I proceeded to ask why this happened as I gave Pamela all the information, how can I be assured this won't happen again. HE SAID I COULD COME IN AND GET A REFUND. I told him, yes I would like to do that. I came in to get my refund - Lilian greeted me at the door - Ken the manager said her stuff is ready and never tried to apologize and walked away (never introduced himself etc). I will contact corporate because of this situation. I was a paying customer ($250 of my business), and was not treated well at all. An hour later I came to LensCrafters millennia mall- was greeted and they apologized for the other store and were able to get me situated immediately! Aston called my insurance for me and was very helpful. PLEASE GO TO THE MILLENNIA MALL LENSCRAFTERS - worth the drive, cleaner shop, and better customer service. ** please keep in mind - the eye doctor is NOT the same as the store, two separate offices under the same roof. Just got home from a really nice experience at the Florida Mall LensCrafters. Last week I happened to stop in when I was in the area, needing to have my eyes checked and wanting a pair of Oakley sunglasses. After being warmly greeted, I then discussed my options and prices for over an hour, and headed home to do some research. Several of the LensCrafter stores had not received favorable reviews and that made me skeptical, but I'm really glad I went back! Today I was again in the area and had my Oakley sunglasses with me that I had purchased on Ebay, so thought I might as well check on how long it might be to have my eyes checked without an appointment, and was told probably less than 20 minutes. Karla was working the appointment desk and her personality was amazing! What a major asset she is for this company. After filling out the regularly needed 'paper work', Karla then administered a couple of tests with my eyes in order to have information concerning my eyes ready for the doctor when he got around to seeing me. I've now only been there for less than 20 minutes total and in walks Dr. Tran. This young man was very through in his exam but what I liked most was that he asked questions and explained everything in 'everyday' language. I never felt rushed but had more of a feeling that Dr. Tran really cared about me and the health of my eyes!!! Overall I have graded my experience with this LensCrafters as Exceptional! I highly recommend giving this store a chance with all your eye needs.....especially Dr. Tran. Be sure to say hello to Ms. Karla as well for me. read more

I took the time to book an eye exam appt online specifically to avoid a long wait time today. My scheduled appt was at 2:20pm, so I arrived at 2:15pm. I was "greeted" by the secretary who quickly and rudely informed me that they didn't accept my insurance, which was actually incorrect. After I pointed out that my insurance company confirmed that I would be covered at this location, she then took a minute to actually look up my insurance (you know, do her job), only to rudely say, "I found your insurance." No apology! It is now 4:06pm and I'm still sitting in this place waiting to be seen for my 2:20pm appt! No updates from staff on how much longer I will have to wait, and no apologies from the staff - just excuses of how they double booked the entire day of appts by mistake! This is the worst eye exam appt I have ever had! Won't be coming back to this place. read more

They get one star for being nice when we first arrived. Came here bruce we needed emergency lenses for my mother in law who fell while at Disney and broke her frames. They told us they could do the frames in an hour. We walked around the mall and came back two hours later and they told us it would be 20 more minutes because a lense broke during the process. We window shopped for 30 more minutes then it still wasn't ready. I am sitting in their store writing this review at the 3 hour mark and they are still not done. They make promises and fail to keep them and then do not acknowledge that anything is amiss. Lousy business practice and we will not be returning. read more

I had the unpleasant experience of working with Marta at this location. I was in the market for a new pair of glasses and came in asking about which blue light filter I had on my current pair of glasses because it was not working for me and I noticed no significant difference in my eye strain so I did not want to get the same type of filter again. She told me that I would not be getting my money back for the glasses I currently had (which is not even what I wanted I was just trying to establish which filter I currently had so I did not get it again). She was not only rude and condescending but overall a very unpleasant person to work with. I left without making any purchases and instead went to a different LensCrafters at The Loop shopping center where I had a much better experience. I was so put off by Marta's attitude and lack and willingness to help me find frames that were right for my needs that I switched eye doctors entirely to the LensCrafter location at The Loop. read more

if you want to force your employees to rip-off customers and tell them that its store policy to sell both lenses even though only one is cracked and needs to be replaced, thats fine, its your business, you run it the way you want. but when I ask to speak to a MANAGER, to see if she'll make an exception for me, since one lens is all I need, and she instead LIES to me and tells me that shes REQUIRED BY LAW to replace BOTH lenses if the GOOD lens is scratched, youve crossed the line from having a lousy policy that inconveniences customers, to REALLY breaking the law with a false and deceptive business practice. if you dont want to replace just the broken lens because you dont want me telling people where i got my shiny new lense from, that used to be broken, because theyre going to assume that I also got the scratched one from the same place, and it will make you look bad..., well now look what happened, you lied, you DIDNT get ANY revenues, and youve left me with no choice but to give you a ONE STAR review, so... your "both lenses only" policy needs to be reconsidered, because now, things could not have turned out any worse. read more

Seniors beware that this LensCrafters and their optometrists do not honor an AARP discount, even though they are listed on the AARP website for eye exam vision discounts through EyeMed. With the EyeMed discount, the exam charge should be $45 and they charged us $79, saying they were giving us a $10 discount. When we complained to AARP, EyeMed investigated and the LensCrafters manager said she would follow up with us in 2 to 3 business days to resolve the issue. We never heard from her and called to inquire about it more than a week later. The manager transferred us to another person who told us the manager would get back to us in 2 to 3 days! In addition to the billing issue, there is a problem scheduling with the doctor of your choice. The exam was scheduled with a doctor we reviewed online and then it was a different less experienced doctor who performed the exam. Stay away from this business! read more
