Cons: - None that I can think of. One thing I've noticed about The Shoe Company is that its stores are generally reflective of what is advertised on its website - also, you can order shoes online and pick them up in store for free. Adam handled the exchange process on professional, carrying and friendly level, that made me feel comfortable going through the process. I got an impression that Adam is very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable person who knows how to handle stressful situations and how to keep their customers happy. They seem to function in a way that "The customer is NEVER right". I normally just look the other way from these events, but am repulsed by the lack of customer satisfaction at this store. Now here's the kicker: I've spoken about this with half a dozen friends, and they've all had some very memorable experiences. Here are a few direct quotes from different friends, and i'm sure if i were to dig, i'd find more: - "My friend is new to Canada, and they were VERY rude to her!" - "that's why I stopped going there" - "I'll never go in there again... The son was nice, the dad was the worst person I think I've ever met in my life." - "Yup... I've experienced this lots. The only saving grace is the young brunette... the rest seem so morose. Won't go back." To be fair, one of them said: "They've been great to us every time... think it depends on if you get the son or the father." But, I don't think any business working on a "1 out of 5 ain't bad" system could strive. Either way, they seem to treat their customers poorly, and the more I mention it to friends, the more I hear horror stories. A couple of facts: -You're not allowed to send them tiffs or similar big images, their system "can't handle them". -Your photos have to be on a USB stick (not on a card). Otherwise they get mad at you. -You can't email them photos. -You can't send them a link to the photos (otherwise, they charge you for the time it takes them to download the file.) -They'd first ask you to leave the store and come back with the proper formatting before they bend ANY of their rules. -Go in prepared to argue, because that's all they seem to do.

Even when Canada Post tried misplacing our film, they seemed as distressed as we were! We even visited them at the store once, and while there we chatted with the young guy, and he suggested a place to have lunch. My experience with them was good. Maybe some people just need to learn that there are guidelines with every business. If they require a certain file type or size, that's just the way it is. No sense in getting upset if you're asking for something they don't offer.

Vee was very good and a pleasure to speak to. Today, Ashley showed me the three rings and necklace and I was so happy. The items were boxed, except for a couple of rings. Ashley provided boxes for them, bless her. She was very diligent in checking the cost of each item and presenting me with the final charge. I am so delighted with the care and attention, devoted to the wonderful restoration of these very personal and precious pieces. I didn't know there was a 30 day limit to return the item, but nonetheless, the item had never been used and I felt it wasn't unreasonable to speak to the owner. The moody cashier attempted to reach the owner and was unable to do so. She claimed he was on his lunch break. She stepped out for a few minutes, came back and said the owner declined to meet with me and refused to take back my 14$ item. The cashier had a smirk on her face and it really looked like she was pleased not to take back my item. I will NEVER go back there again, not because I wasn't able to return my item but because the service that I received was so unprofessional and frustrating. I will make sure to tell all my family and friends about this experience. I do not recommend this store.
