Lenscrafty. Priyas and Brenda refused to give me a Pupil Distance, citing company policy. Maybe it is. This is the first time I have ever been denied this request. Apparently, her "license is on the line." What license? Does selling glasses at six times cost need a permit? I don't think so. Either bad company policy or lousy service. Last year I gave up on getting glasses here because. They did not have glasses that correctly fit my face and prescription and the rude lady I had to deal with would not even try to help me find the glasses I needed . Oakley air drop was the style they have been carried by the company for years. But it was too much trouble to help me so I gave up last year this year I really need new glasses But I have the same rude unhelpful lady again I cannot believe she is still working there with how un helpful and lacking of basic knowledge of optometry she wanted me to buy glasses that were too large for my head and would just fall off my face. (No she would not get me the correct frame size for my face) she tried to tell Me I had to take glasses that were the wrong size I walked out again this year She is just not a happy person does not want to help clients and is not a credit to her employer I guess I need to find another company to get my glasses from after using LensCrafters for over 30 years read more

Horrendous experience,, First I had to wait a half hour to be waited on.When I got home with my new glasses the right ear piece fell off..Then I tried to look thru them and noticed that the left lens was out of focus!!! I returned them and was going to just order a new pair and the salesman told me they don't except my insurance..I was dumfounded,They had already been paid for the first pair!!!!! I couldn't get out of there fast enough!!!! I wish I could give them zero stars!!! read more

Nice selection Good quality. Careless staff. But.... If you go here you need to make sure your order is correct. I ordered transition xtraActive lens and they were made with the standard transitions. I wanted the light tint that is the xtra. Had a full conversation about the difference. I still took them but will go elsewhere for any future eye care. read more

Since the Covid issues this place is terrible! Tacky sign keeping people out, you stand waiting forever for someone to speak to you, yet can only make appt for exam not adjustment. They let people in with their smelly dogs, this is technically a medical provider. read more

Horrible customer service! I ordered a pair of sun glasses and they hadn't called me that they were in after two weeks. So I called and found out they had been there for the last five days and no one called me. Then they were supposed to be mailed to a store closer to me and were not. They assured me they would be mailed out and be there within two days. they are still not at the other store. the manatee store could not provide me with a tracking number and the manager Pree (sp) hung up on me! These glasses are $450 my other two pairs were a total of $750 and my husband's were $350 and THIS IS THE WAY WE GET TREATED!!! horrible!!! do not go here! read more

dr prince is a cool guy! he was very nice and explained everything in detail, which i appreciated bc i don't know much about anything eye-related i like big frames, but the store didn't have much of a selection on site, so i will likely go elsewhere to get my glasses (not their fault that i have a giant head!) this whole process is a little pricy even with insurance, but that's nothing new. read more

I have been a customer with LensCrafters for a few years now and never had a problem. My eye exam was September 19. I was told at the time of my purchase that it would take 3 weeks. I found that a bit odd but ok. 3 weeks pass and I have not heard from them. So I called on October 15 and was told that the glasses were shipped I should receive them the week of October 19. I had not heard back this so I called again today October 23. I was told that my glasses had to be reordered because during a transfer they got lost. Now I have to wait another 3 weeks possibly longer. They had NO PROBLEM charging me 500 and some odd dollars October 21. So my advice to anyone DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Ask questions personally I am disgusted and will never do business with these ASS CLOWNS again. I learned my lesson. read more

The appointment I had here a little over a year ago left me resenting this place. The staff were rude, pushy, catty and patronizing women. The staff member who helped me put in my first pair of contacts yelled at me because I was struggling with them. It ended up only taking me a few minutes. I came back in because the fit wasn't right (my eyes were visibly irritated by them and my vision wasn't clear at all) and I was told by Dr. Prince to get used to them and that my vision couldn't be corrected any further (my previous RX was better!). I was called in for contacts that, upon arrival, was told they'd forgotten to order. This was after a week and a half of waiting. When I refused to come back, my RX that I paid 200 dollars for was cancelled. This is really a shame, since my father and brother have been coming here for over 10 years. I will never come back or suggest this place to anyone, in fact I suggest that people go somewhere else. read more
