I took in a stray cat that was in rough shape and they got him patched up and restored to good health. During the first visit, he was deemed to weak to receive vaccinations so I made a follow up appointment for the next week. Upon my second visit, they worked with me to accommodate my work schedule and offered me the option of dropping him off early in the morning and picking him up at the end of the day. I was greatly relieved because he was able to receive all his vaccines that day in addition to getting neutered. The entire staff were polite and you could tell they genuinely care about your animal. What they charged me was also extremely reasonable considering it's Cashiers. It brings me great peace of mind knowing there are dedicated professionals so close by who can tend to my cats health. Ga area and now we have retired here. I met Dr. Kinsey when I purchased my horses and he was the only vet in this area that would travel to where the horses were at and do a pre-purchase check up. I had an issue with a horse last year , hoof issue. He again responded quickly and provided me with medication and treatment needed daily twice a day. Now we have sold all our horses. We are full time residents in Young Harris now and we will use him for our 3 dogs, German Shepherd, A Chowski, Husky-Chow mix and our older Terrier . He's efficient, knowledgeable and just a all around great vet.

Dr. Kenney is a very kind hearted human that genuinely cares about animals. She was always understanding and she thoroughly took the time to help my ailing cat. I have seen the other doctors and they are all very kind as well. The vet techs were always nice and Bret was always my go to guy for handling my cat. I even took my rooster that was sick and Dr.Kenney was great, she gave me medication for him and he was feeling better within 24 hours. I can't say enough nice things about this hospital, believe me I've seen close to ten different doctors in my cat's lifetime and Dr. Kenney was the best!

I clearly initialed that exact option on the form and paid for it, PLUS it was in the vet records/notes, only to get a call from my vet's office a little over a week later and find out that Tall Pines had "somehow missed that part on the paperwork." Why am I even filling out paperwork if it's not being given the rapt attention that such a delicate line of work not only requires, but demands?!?! So basically, they made ashes out of my and my boyfriend's 8-year-old beloved bearded dragon WITHOUT getting his footprint and tailprint, and we had to hear it from the receptionist at the vet. No one from the actual company bothered to call us and explain, much less apologize. Everyone makes mistakes, but some mistakes cannot be rectified, and this is certainly one of them. It is inexcusable and unforgivable. It's like we lost our baby all over again. Any grieving pet owner who's already coping with the loss of a precious and irreplaceable family member should understand the magnitude of this "mistake." That clay imprint was as important to us - if not more so - than the ashes themselves. It was going to be our last memento of our baby, the last piece of him we had to hold on to, but we'll never be able to do that, and refunding the money I paid doesn't even come close to making up for it. There IS no making up for it. This is NOT ok, and I have zero faith in Tall Pines thanks to this appalling error and complete lack of professionalism. I hope to God that this doesn't happen to any other unfortunate pet parent.

The walls are beyond thin, therefore you can hear all the vet techs talking trash. I heard one girl even comment about how My puppy was probably from a "puppy mill". I won't be going back ever again.

Not only have I not seen her so happy to play with other dogs, she didn't want to leave! She slept all day after we picked her up--rest assured that she had plenty of exercise and wasn't caged like some kennels. I'd recommend ACST to anyone who has a dog that socializes well. If we weren't on vacation we'd bring her back once a week, just for her own fun. Beyond the great service from staff, and exceptional treatment of our puppy, the prices were very reasonable, with $12 covering half of the day.
