A couple of years ago, Doctor Painter had done interior exterior painting on the house next door. Henry was highly recommended by the neighbor. So we called Henry for an estimate; he spent more time than anybody else checking the house just to do the estimate. He spoke to us about all our options and ways to save money on labor and material. He was detailed, and listed everything that had to be done. Before we made a decision, we got three other estimates. One of the estimates was so low that it scared us, another one was lower than Henry's, but that guy would not go into detail too much about what he was going to do; it was vague and sounded like there would be a lot of additional charges along the way, we certainly didn't want that. And finally, the third estimate was detailed and they had good reviews, but it was almost 50% higher than Henry's; we couldn't figure out why. In fact, Henry had more credentials than any of the contractors we met. Considering all the work that needed to be done and all the prep work, Henry's estimate was reasonable. Henry wanted only 10% deposit to start the job; two of the other contractors wanted a lot more money up front. We couldn't take any chances, so we hired Dr. Painter to do both interior exterior painting and other minor home repairs. They started work when they said they would and finished on time for the open house. Henry was very professional, and on the job everyday. We had NO problems reaching him whenever needed, that's another thing, he is very easy to reach. There were NO hidden costs or headaches. As we were told, his workmanship was high quality. Henry is such a perfectionist; he really takes pride in his work. Our realtor liked his work so much that she now recommends Henry to all her clients. We made the right choice and highly recommend Henry and Dr. Painter to everyone.
