He later contacted me to demand an exorbitant 'retainer' before releasing the document. (we had never discussed any retainers or other charges in the initial meeting) I could not afford the retainer. The bottom line; I came away without my separation agreement, and was out the six hours I had paid him. Best advice; Get yourself a contract lawyer before hiring this one to handle your family law!
