I worked many events where things went wrong on the offices end and they decide to blame the event techs for those shortcomings. Many brides and corperate clientele have been frustrated at the state the booths arrive in. They are also very unlikely to give a refund, and will fight tooth and nail to avoid returning money in disaster situations. Worked there for a year, learned all sorts of skills, and was never shown any appreciation for it. Some great people work here, but it feels like they don't have any real interest in retention as they are always hiring.
