I can take accountability for running 8 mins late but it seemed that the dentist didn't want to be there on a spring Saturday and was essentially hoping I'd run late. Imagine driving a distance and possible running into traffic and not even given the courtesy of a phone call not to bother to come in. The assistant's nonchalant attitude didn't help the matter nor did she feel there is any accountability to be held on their end saying "well you confirmed the appointment for 12:30." I've never seen a professional doctor not give a grace period prior to canceling the appointment. Completely unprofessional. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

My father entered the dental program at Rutgers needing roughly $6000 in dental work. The instructors who supervised them were unprofessional and in constant conflict with each other and their students. My father's plan of care changed with every visit, and after one year in the program my father needed $17,000 in restorative dental work. The attendings also never made note of an escalating neurological condition that should not have allowed my father to spend long hours in a dental chair, he is now in a wheelchair after 2 spinal surgeries. Rutgers offered us a $250 refund and nothing more and my father is in a wheelchair. Use this program at your own risk.

I saw Dr. Daniels for persistent tooth pain and sensitivity. After two fillings failed to help, we…read moreproceeded with a root canal in 2024. Unfortunately, the pain never subsided. I returned to him multiple times--even paying out-of-pocket for exams once my benefits were exhausted--to report the ongoing issue. Each time, Dr. Daniels dismissed my concerns, claiming he performed the root canal 'perfectly' and attributing the pain to my bite and grinding. He insisted the solution was aligners. I spent a year in discomfort, believing I was the problem. Recently, the pain became unbearable. My new dentist performed a CBCT scan which revealed a significant infection. I was referred to an endodontist for retreatment, where the reality of the first procedure came to light: the original root canal was not sealed properly, and an entire channel had been missed, which caused the infection. To make matters worse, the crown broke apart during the retreatment. I am now facing the significant expense of a second root canal and a new crown because the first procedure was not performed correctly. I am deeply disappointed in the care I received. Dr. Daniels' ego clearly does not meet his level of incompetence.
