Efficient and friendly describes it best. There is plenty of seating upstairs and down but I would still recommend reservations at this little gem as it was packed when we were there. Especially, if you are visiting during busier Times such as summer or TT week. One last note, the owner is a kind, friendly, happy man who does a precious 'magic' for the children at the end of their meal if they eat everything. All around a great experience.

Brought the family back for dinner two days later and was not disappointed. My starter was great, local scallops (queenies) in a cognac butter sauce. Very tasty. My main was ravioli njuda, which was a chorizo ravioli. Flavors were great, surprised how spicy it was but not a problem. Most of the other meals were very good (pizza and pasta in particular) but what really earns the five stars is the service. Incredibly friendly, really trying to please (and authentic). I love places where they care about what they are doing, are passionate and are just good people. This seems like one of those places.

The man (pizza chef) / woman (counter) duo were very welcoming and offered us tastes of the local beers and then offered to do a "half and half" pizza to meet both of our tastes. This was just what the Pizza Dan ordered and we really enjoyed the 1/2 marg and 1/2 pepperoni. Delicious and perfect lightly charred crust yet chewy and not too much sauce to sog. While we have some very good Italian restaurants, Tuscany is different. First, it does the little things right, probably the most professional restaurant on the island. A few examples -- tables are booked to optimize flow, the server and kitchen don't get overwhelmed and you are not left sitting 30+ minutes -- the complimentary glass of Prosecco when you arrive puts the evening in the right mood (be nice if they offered a non-alcoholic option) -- the toilets have nice soaps and hand lotions as well as real wash clothes rather than paper towels -- the server does a great job of describing the specials While the above might sound minor, and would be the cost of doing business in London or Rome, it creates an atmosphere that makes the dining experience so pleasant. The food also lives up to the ambiance. Queenies (Manx scallops) appetizer comes in a nice Chardonnay sauce. My main was a pork shank special. It was quite large and had a nice, complex flavor with lots of fresh herbs. Only recommendation would be some crisper skin/crackling. Tiramisu was the perfect finale. Overall highly recommended.

I forgot a bag there and Danny kept it safe and allowed me to pick it up before the restaurant officially opened the next day. Highly recommend.
