The dry creek especially came out exactly how I envisioned it--it looks natural and fits the space perfectly. They were reliable and showed up on time, which I really appreciated. Chris is also very easy to work with--he communicates well, listens to what you want, and is extremely patient (which was helpful because I changed my mind a few times along the way ). He genuinely wants you to be happy with the final result. The only downside I experienced was with the initial plant selection on an earlier job. Some of the plants weren't the best fit for the conditions (like sun vs. shade), so I do wish there had been a bit more guidance in that area as well as knowledge of various low maintenance plants that would fit the space better. Additionally, I asked for no roses because I've experienced rose virus before and he installed two. I didn't realize they were roses until later. They are beautiful, but one has already succumbed to the virus.That said, it was a relatively small issue compared to the overall quality of the work. I do recommend researching the space yourself to make sure that the plant selection is accurate. They are on the higher end price-wise, but recently seem to be more competitive, and the quality and professionalism do reflect the cost. His price was comparable to all of our other quotes, but we chose Southeastern Tree Removal because we trusted Jeremy. We were right in our judgement. We had a large, difficult job. We had 60 large pines surrounding our home on a steep hill to be removed. Some of the pines were 70ft high. Jeremy planned the job well, brought in a log truck to remove the logs, used a caterpillar to push the trees in the direction to fall away from the house, used a dump truck to haul off branches and arrived daily to get the job done. He had several other men helping with chainsaws and driving the vehicles. He even trimmed a hardwood tree that was leaning over a street light and managed to cut it down with ropes giving the very heavy large branches a soft landing.
