I work for a homeless shelter here in Columbia. We had a leaning/dying 70' white pine in our playground that the winds and rain from TS Debby caused to lean even more and caused us to have to close the playground due to safety concerns. Eaddy's Tree Service came out after the storm had ended and gave us quote that was reasonable enough to remove that tree and another smaller one in the playground that was dying as well. They quickly got it on their schedule and, one week later, they came out to remove them. They had both trees down and the stumps ground in just one day, including dismantling and reinstalling sections of the playground fence for equipment access. VERY PLEASED!! I had a dead 75 foot pine tree nestled among others in my backyard. Dangerous and complicated to remove. Barry Eaddy's bid was the lowest of three - half of the highest! Work Completed Well and On Time I have a deep lot, but the majority of my back yard was overgrown with trees, brush, and ivy (I've owned the home built in 1963 for about 4 years and this backyard area has been an eyesore to me since I bought it). I hired Eaddy's to "reclaim" my space. After meeting with a few other reputable companies, I decided on Eaddy's due to Barry's eagerness and up-beat attitude about doing the work. Once we agreed on a price (lower than anyone else I met with), he came out the day before starting the work so that we could mark the large trees I wanted to keep. The next day his crew showed up and started taking down trees and clearing the yard. The work was completed within 4 days (he estimated 3-4 days), and everything was cleaned up very nicely (including putting a fence back up that had to be taken down for work access) for me to have the yard either sodded or seeded in the near future. The crew was very friendly and I was able to add some minor tasks to the work at no extra cost. Now I have a huge backyard area (approximately 1/3 acre) to figure out what I want to use it for, but it opened up lots of possibilities for me and my growing family. read more

Don't bother getting quotes from anyone else! Save time, frustration and money - call Eaddy's!! My neighbor and I both had dead 100' tall pine trees that needed to be removed. Unfortunately for my neighbor, Irma brought his down across the roof of his house causing a lot of damage to his home. Barry Eaddy and his crew did such a great job removing my neighbor's tree and cleaning up the site that I asked them to give me a quote to remove mine. Barry looked at my tree and then sent me a written professional quote. He followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure I received it and was happy with it. I was. He scheduled removal within two days and showed up as promised with his crew. The removal was a very difficult one because the tree was completely wrapped with huge vines and the tree was in a tight location between a garage and power lines. His climber cut the vines as he scaled the tree and after an hour or more on the tree, he dropped the top dead center between the lines and garage with no damage to either one. I was very impressed. All his crew members were courteous, professional, and safe. I won't bother getting quotes from another tree service. They won my future business! read more

Mr. Eaddy and his team were hired to remove 3 trees and trim 3 unruly Bradford Pear Trees from the parking lot of our downtown doctor's office. From beginning to end, Mr. Eaddy and his crew was very professional and prompt. The bid was provided within hours of the initial consultation and came in at just the right price. The crew arrived promptly in the morning at the agreed time and they were professional and polite and got right to work. Even through a small afternoon summer storm, the crew continued to work diligently through the day and had all the debris cleaned and the parking lot looking beautiful before end of business.
