They host an array of events and activities (some are free, while others are ticketed). Events and activities include live music, DJs, yoga, Zumba, and seasonal events like Winter Wonderlawn during Christmas and Lunar New Year. There are seven gardens which take up about an acre. There's signs throughout the lawn that explain the different gardens and various spaces. Sky Farm is operated by Blackwood Educational Land Institute and they focus on regenerative agriculture and cultivation of food. The Outpost can be rented for events. Yelp Houston has hosted some events at the Outpost in the past. During the summer, it gets very hot! They have quite a few covered/shaded areas and there's vendors throughout if you need water or a beverage. There's lots of seating too (both covered and uncovered). A visit to Post Houston isn't complete without making the trek up to Skylawn! The views alone are worth it!

Thumbs Up: POST has done an excellent job repurposing Houston's historic Downtown Post Office into…read morea multipurpose destination. Thumbs Up: The rooftop lawn and garden are beautiful and provide a relaxing place to enjoy the city skyline. Thumbs Up: Portions of the rooftop are dedicated to gardens that grow fresh produce, adding a unique touch to the space. Neutral: I wasn't able to determine where the harvested produce ultimately goes. I'm sure the information is available somewhere, but I don't recall seeing it during my visits. Thumbs Up: I can actually see my home from the rooftop. Thumbs Up: I've watched a few rooftop concerts from my balcony. Thumbs Up: As an added bonus, it's always entertaining to hear some of my neighbors complain about the "noise pollution" during HOA meetings. Living Downtown comes with unique advantages and occasional inconveniences. If someone can't tolerate city life, they may be happier living in the suburb provinces. Thumbs Down: Access to the rooftop is sometimes restricted during seasonal events and special art installations. I understand the need for ticketed events, but I wish general access to the public spaces could remain available whenever practical. Thumbs Down: I am able-bodied, but I couldn't help noticing that rooftop access appears difficult for visitors who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments. The elevators are not easy to locate, and several were out of service during my many visits. Improving accessibility would make this space more welcoming for everyone.

But The have a nice parking lot next door to the building. During the course of the reception a number of cars were vandalized/robbed (broken windows and ransacking the contents). It wasn't even dark yet. Mine was one of them. It could have easily been mitigated by a rent-a-cop. Take note as this was a very avoidable event. Beware and if you rent the venue get your own security if the venue doesn't care.

They have a great parking lot, especially for a venue so close to downtown. However, Paula told me to park on the street literally a few feet from the entrance (really helpful since I am usually the first person to leave). I would describe the wedding as "magical". Station 3 has a magical quality that is hard to describe. It's not very big so the guests were literally only a few feet from me. However, it added an intimacy that really made this venue and the wedding stand out. I have no control over where my clients book their weddings but Station 3 would be high on my list as a recommendation. However, my perspective may be quite different since I am a vendor and not a client but I would jump at the chance to return. I loved it.

Nestled in the historic and vibrant area known as "The Heights," it truly feels like a hidden gem. I chose this location for my husband's 40th birthday bash, and let me tell you, it was the best decision ever! With a Casino Royale James Bond theme, I wanted a venue that could deliver an exclusive vibe, and 1111 Studewood Place did not disappoint. My husband was completely surprised and in awe of the space, and it certainly wowed our guests! I've never received so many compliments during a party; everyone was thrilled by the beautiful details and had an absolute blast! A huge shoutout to Muyiwa, who is a complete professional! He attended to my every need and was a master at putting out fires before I even realized there was a problem. His connections with vendors made everything seamless--from catering and wait staff to casino tables, beverages, decorations, and luxury lounge seating. He offers these services as add-ons or can provide contact information, which took so much stress off my shoulders during the planning process. Oh and as so many others have mentioned parking, valet included! I did add a backdrop for some extra flair, but honestly, the venue is gorgeous on its own! The event was an absolute blast--we danced the night away and truly felt like we were in the movie Casino Royale. I wouldn't hesitate to host another event here; in fact, everyone at my party was so impressed that they immediately started planning their next event at this venue! The rooftop setup is fantastic, giving you the best of both worlds. If it rains, you still have a beautiful indoor space to enjoy. It's clear that this venue is thoughtfully designed, and my husband and his friends had the time of their lives. They even mentioned how jealous they were and wished their wives would plan something similar for them--so I think I earned the best wifey award! I highly recommend 1111 Studewood Place. Don't hesitate to book your event here; you'll definitely be the talk of the town!
