Come here for the ice-cream. You might find it a little bit price, but it goes with the territory. The dip ice-creams are out of this world.

I decided to drop in today an encourage this great little local gem. Although i cannot taste the pastries since i am celiac i can tell they must be delightful, they are the fluffiest and lightest I've ever seen. I did get to sample the chocolate and they were soooo good. I had the salted caramel thankfully i only bought two or else i would have ravaged through them. I also tasted the candies ginger/dark chocolate, orange peel/dark chocolate and the honey chocolate. Every single one was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend dropping for a freshly baked pastry, chocolate or a coffee... #ShopLocal #VSL

The drinks are expertly made and are ALWAYS delicious. The ice cream during the summer is artisanal and wonderful. And the best part: the people working there! Chefs John and Amanda are wonderful. All of the other folks working there are fantastic as well. It's a smaller place, but there's a few seats to enjoy your drinks. It's very mom-and-pop shop feel. The quality surpasses any other chocolate place in Montreal. The service is phenomenal and the people there learn your name! They're all so sweet (maybe it's all the chocolate?) My recommendations: truthfully, everything! But some of my favourites are the following : matcha latte, dark hot chocolate, the MOCHA!, and americano. Don't miss out on their chocolates and ice creams! During the summer they have incredible ice creams. My favourite are their fruit based ice creams especially the mango! They have fantastically unique flavours and it changes up every week! They also have fantastic soft serve as well.

The front area is a bakery with beautiful dessert displays. I wish I had a room for dessert. We came for the Quiche Lorraine, and the portion was huge -- probably enough for 3 people, I would say. It had a lot of meat, with some kind of special ham/bacon, and the flavor was delicious. If you like meat, this is the dish for you. I definitely recommend it! Personally, I would have liked a little more egg custard in the quiche. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as well. The drinks were great and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!.

We got the pear dessert, lemon meringue, and Ferrero chocolate cake, and together the three desserts came to around $45. Honestly, I didn't want to like them as much as I did because of the price, but they were all so good that we immediately wanted more. The pear dessert was light and delicate, while the outer white chocolate layer added a really nice crunch. I was super happy to see them because they were viral on TikTok lol. The Ferrero chocolate cake was super creamy and rich, and even the base had that delicious Ferrero flavor throughout. The lemon meringue was also light and refreshing, while the bottom crust still had a nice firmness to it in a good way. Every dessert was super flavorful and tasted amazing. The staff greeted us right away when we came in for takeout, and everyone was very friendly. They also helped pack our desserts, although I personally would have preferred if each dessert was packaged separately. The shop itself is really cute too. They have an adorable heart and rose sign outside, and all the desserts are displayed at the front. They also sell croissants and other little pastries/snacks as well.

As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed by the owner, who makes every single piece of chocolate in those glass cases by scratch. He's so humble and happy with what he does, you can really see it in the way he talks, which is what made our experience all that it was. A lot of the menu was in French, so he kindly explained to us what kind of ice cream he offered, and in all the ways you could order it. I went with the twist soft serve-which was so thick and creamy, almost like a custard. Delicious. I had it dipped in milk chocolate, which left me pleasantly surprised to find out the coating was so much thicker than other places who serve something similar. My friend got a sundae which I know he enjoyed because there was none left. The atmosphere, location, and overall experience will absolutely bring us back. A must-do if you're in this part of town!

While I was here, I visited Divine Chocolatier, Les Chocolats, and Chocobel which I can arguably say is my favorite out of the three. It's nothing against the other places but it's just a taste preference probably. If you love dark chocolate then Les Chocolats is definitely the one for you and Divine Chocolatier is definitely just as good but this place does offer more variety. The owners were really nice and put up with translating almost every single piece of chocolate for me as I picked up a few along with some Maple fudge. After sampling some, I can say I really enjoy the variety and quality of both the chocolate and the filling. However, this place was the only one out of the three that didn't offer me a little niblet with my purchase. Of course that's not going to deter me from loving this shop but it was a nice touch in the other two stores. Would definitely come back if I was up here again.
