DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM LEON'S IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO RECEIVE THEM BEFORE YOUR FUNERAL! Leon's is a garbage company that does not even have an inkling of what you would call 'customer service'. Ordered a new mattress and box-spring in the middle of September, promised a 4-6 weeks delivery. Called the store around 8 weeks to inquire and they said 'it says they will be delivered by the end of November'. Fine. Start of December rolls around, still no delivery. Called again and told 'it will ship next week to our store so you will get it in two weeks'. At this point I assumed I probably wasn't getting the order before Christmas, and this is where the employees of the store started to show their garbage customer service. FOUR times I was told I would be called back with updates, or would have the manager contact me, but never once did I receive a call. I only got more information when I contacted the store myself. I only got a hold of the manager after calling multiple times looking to speak to her. I then came in to the store to look at another mattress they actually had in stock (surprisingly)...but it was way too firm. This is where an employee let me know that all these issues were the fault of the franchisee, and that corporate had taken over. Understandable...so I then expected my mattress would be coming very soon as corporate was having multiple truckloads of orders coming in every day (as per what the employee said). Be warned, the issues are not fixed. The manager doesn't know how to respond to a customer, the ladies who work at the customer service desk don't know how to respond to a customer (thanks for promising to call me back and then never doing so...and continuously promising a delivery that wasn't going to happen). At the end of it all, the employees started to blame corporate, saying that 'corporate has to approve a pick up from the Dartmouth store before you can get your order...and that won't be until the new year at least'. So there my order sat in a store not even two hours away and either corporate or the store itself were too lazy to pick up the phone and do some actual work. Between the lack of intelligence and customer service by the employees, the manager, and apparently corporate itself, I cancelled my order and purchased from another company who actually knows what customer service is. That company, located not too far from Coldbrook Leon's, was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. Helped me find the right mattress for me and didn't just want to make a quick commission. tl;dr Leon's is a garbage company, with employees who seemingly only care about their commission and not their customers. Do not purchase. There are many other retailers in the valley who know what customer service is, and will actually delivery your order. read more

We ordered over $4,000 of stuff from Leon's in Coldbrook and were happy with the service until the day of delivery. The delivery people decided to drag a 90kg bed frame across our wood floors leaving gouges and scratches across the floor. We also found that the headboard and bed that we bought together have no way of attaching. Contacting Leon's they initially seemed concerned and sent someone round to look at the scratches. He spent some time on his hands and knees with a stain pen "colouring in" the lighter scratches, but there was nothing he could do about the deeper damage. We had to arrange our own quote for the deeper gouges and sadly were informed these could not be repaired. Since informing Leon's of this they have been useless, they rarely come back when you make contact and we have heard nothing for weeks now. It would appear that they don't care that their delivery people damaged our property nor that they sell products together which don't actually work together. We will NEVER be shopping at Leon's again and would advise others to do the same. We've heard similar stories from others as well, so it seems this is not a one-off mistake. read more

OK now I'm mad. wish I could rate them much lower. Leon's in Coldbrook is the most horrible place to deal with in the valley. They have no expertise or customer service except for the delivery drivers. I've had problems with my recent purchase of an adjustable bed. They've breached my confidentiality and privacy by giving me someone else's receipt and giving my information to someone else, which they proceeded to state happens all the time and it's human error. I would be fired from my job if I gave medical records to the wrong person. They would not price match with proof of online pictures that multiple other people witnessed, and now they refuse to return my order stating that they don't offer returns. Victoria, the manager proceeded to state that she's known me for years because I've spent so much money there and yet she is not willing to help me whatsoever. Basically told me that they don't wanna deal with me anymore and to take my business elsewhere. I've contacted corporate office because Victoria has been known by multiple people, that I've spoken to to be a very difficult person to work with, and would not even let me speak to her boss telling me he's very busy. I will never deal with this company again and don't recommend to anybody else does either. read more

I am warning anyone who is going to order from this store not to!!!!!!! My mom's fridge broke down so after she got a leons flyer and picked out a fridge she would like I called leons in Colebrook. I asked how long it would take to fix a fridge that was in their flyer and they said their orders come quite quickly..I expected a 6 to 8 week wait anyway..I paid almost 3 grand for a gift for my mom.i waited this time then decided to call to see if they could give me an estimated..date of arrival. I person said she had no idea about the order where it was how long it would take to arrive.ok I said you must have it on computer if it was ordered from the manufacturer..no no idea no way to know...if was ordered from them yet....what store doesn't it have their orders on computer ...especially when it's a 3 thousand dollar item the client 8paid them in full for ....????I have a receipt order number etc with me...ok I said I'll wait abit and call back..another week...I call to be told no idea about it at all and could take from 6 months to a year to even get there.....no idea no estimate no way to find out anything fo me..meanwhile moms using a fridge that barely keeps the food cold..I told them this when I ordered a fridge from them!!! So I asked to speak to the manager..never in ..I said I need a fridge right away can someone please help me..asked if they had any in their store to find out get pictures and prices and call me with this information as soon as possible...finally got a call but not from the manager..had to repeat my story to him and tell him my suggestions because my mom can't wait a year for a fridge!!! He gets back to me ok we have 3 here but they're smaller..ok I said I'll take one..oh no he said be December 15th or later till I can get it..the fridges were in their9 Dartmouth store.. approximately an hour away from them...I said get on phone call and reserve one for me for tomorrow!!!I I had driven 2 hours to their store to order it and have it delivered already!!!! Needless to say I had to pay a fortune for gas drive an extra 2 hours past their store..an extra 4 hours and pay an extra one thousand dollars for a smaller fridge to get my mom her fridge ..no discount apology or even a coupon !!!! Once their I'm told that Colebrook has to sell 10 items before they even put in an order and have them delivered!!!!!! wtf Kind of business does this to their clients??? I Will never buy from this store again, ordered furniture and waited to receive it, took 8 weeks, then I had a tear and needed it replaced that took 5 months to get a replacement chair, worst customer service ever. read more

**UPDATE: After speaking with a very pleasant, very helpful service manager, my opinion has changed slightly. I still think that we received absolutely terrible service in general, however, I am all about how a business rectifies the situation when they have screwed up, and she did. She gave me every option available to make this situation better. Initially, we would have only been receiving our couch two-is weeks from now, 14 weeks after ordering it. Now, thanks to her, we will be receiving it on Tuesday. I can also say that she has done more to make the situation better. She handled things very well. Worst customer service I've ever received. Ordered a sectional couch set and were told that it would be delivered within 6 weeks MAX, but would most likely arrive before that, but that they just had to tell us 6 weeks so we weren't calling after 4. It has now been 12 weeks and I just spoke to a representative who said the couch was only being shipped this week. Why in the world would the product only be shipped this week when we ordered it 12 weeks ago. read more

It's been ridiculous! Ordered furniture in September and was told it would likely be here in 4 weeks. Here it is December, and I have been told so many different lies about why it is not here yet, that it is insane. I went to the store on December 15 to get my money back. They could not do it without a managers signature and no manager in on Saturday. I was promised a credit would be put through my credit card first thing Monday. Today is Wednesday and I had to go to the store and insist they do this. I was told that the local owners are losing their franchise. No wonder! Do not buy from them! Would leave zero stars if I could. Do NOT buy from this store unless you have proof item is in stock. Horrible customer service and they don't care. We bought bed set mid January. Saleslady Andrea told us 4 weeks to be delivered. Cashier told us 6 weeks. After 8 weeks we still didn't have it. Called and complained. They said it hadn't even been shipped yet! Said that " it was being made" and they never ship items until they have a "full load". I asked to speak to mgr. Told them we were not happy with them having our money so long and we wanted the interest we would have earned on our money if we had it in bank. They did refund us a small amount and gave us a mattress cover (you are forced to buy one for $100 from them. I found exact cover at Winners for less than half!). Bed set finally arrived after 10 weeks. Then we were told by delivery guys that our bed frame would not work with it. Andrea had assured us it would. So many lies! On phone during delivery the receptionist offered to sell us a frame for $150! Then told us to go buy wood boards!!! Delivery guys to the rescue. They found legs for box spring. Delivery guys said they get customer complaints constantly. Long story short: we had more problems with bed set which were only just resolved 4 days ago. So it took almost FIVE months to get our bed. 3 different salespeople at Leon's lied to us. They will tell you anything to get you to buy. Don't do it. Go elsewhere- it will save you $ in long run. read more

What a nightmare trying to get anything from this store. First time we ordered almost the whole house worth of furniture and understood there would be a three week wait, but after four weeks of waiting were told it would be another three! Had to cancel the order because we couldn't live with no fridge or appliances and decided to go to true style in greenwood, who were great. Secound time I ordered a recliner that was in the flyer and understood it would be a ridiculous wait. After buying 15 sept 18 they called to tell me 3rd dec 18 that the manufacturer was not going to make the dam chair! The sales associate, Andrew MacDonald, failed to return my calls or even call back when he said he was gonna call. I really do not understand how this place is still in business. read more

Worst service and will never purchase from Leons again. Bought washer and was told 4-6 weeks for delivery but that I would get a call the following week to give us a date. Did not hear back so I called twice and both times they said they would call back next day with update but they never did. My husband then tried to call at the two month mark and he had the same thing - they will call back the next day but then never called. Enough was enough so today 68 days after paying for the washer we got our money back and will go elsewhere...and this was not a cheap washer was $1,511 so if I charged interest like I am sure they do perhaps I would have gotten washer. Horrible. Do not buy from them. read more
