Unfortunately we have to keep using them due to our home warranty, but we've had to reopen the claim three times because they will fix it for a couple hours to a couple days. Their customer service is the worst, scheduling appointments is a nightmare. Any time we called to make an appointment they would say they were booked for the week and refused to schedule us for the next week. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company! The people who come out to work on the heat pump have always been polite, informed, and reasonable. As I have been dealing with some medical issues, they have made trips on weekends and holidays, from time to time. I understand that there is a premium placed on the cost of such time and, while the cost of having them come fix whatever went wrong *this* time can be expensive, compared to other services I have price checked their prices for labor and supplies are competitive. So, while it's never a call made for fun or because I forgot to switch a breaker, I have always been pleased with the services offered and more than happy to pay for whatever is needed. That they have managed to keep me as a customer for the past 16 years (with our infrequent call-outs) speaks to the calm proficiency of the people and their service. I look forward to being able to call on them for help with a broken or warm AC for the next many years to come!

My mom was having AC issues - no cold air. She called the people, Eldridge, who have been servicing…read moreher system for 15+ years to come out and they didn't do much but add 5 lbs of expensive freon and told her she may need a new AC down the road. Didn't find the issue to see what caused the need for that much freon that cost $500+. No receipt. No immediate quote for replacement air conditioner or anything. Lets just say within 48 hours it - the freon - was gone. No more cold air. My mom tried to get a hold of Eldridge with no immediate response. (And we know it's summer season and waited a few hours before calling someone else.) So, she called another company to see what they could do. They answered and came out quickly. There was a major leak in the system that was very noticeable and could not be replaced/fixed per the other company she went with. They showed my mom where the leak was and demonstrated the issue. Which means, the tech that came out from Eldridge should have found the leak immediately and not put my mom through the expense of water freon. When Eldridge finally did call my mom back (way later) they got upset with her that she didn't choose them to replace the unit and hunged up on her. But, still sent her a bill that was around $600 for wasted freon and labor. Really, that's how you want to run a business? Send a tech out to see what the issue is...not find it...but waste freon...for temporary relief...no response in a timely manner to come back out again...then hang up on a customer when she chooses another company to fix the problem? Will never use Eldridge again.
